Grayson stood outside the Hades cabin. Not for the first time, he wished he were a son of Poseidon. This time because of the cabin. Poseidon cabin was open and breezy where as Hades... Hades cabin was just plain creepy. Skulls and dark walls, no windows. The whole thing reeked of death, which was kind of the point. Hades, the god of death. Grayson did not like dead things. Most of his siblings could control the dead to one degree or another, and they didn't even give that stupid skull a second thought as they walked in the cabin. Yet every time Grayson did, he could feel it's hollow eyes following him.
He ignored the chills running up and down his spine and walked into his home for the moment. Thankfully, it was slightly less creepy inside. And his bunk wasn't creepy at all. The room was still dark, as there were no windows but it was lit fairly well by the torches on the wall. Grayson had brought in some extra lamps and put them next to his bed, illuminating the ships in bottles and nets he had scattered around his bunk. He plopped onto his bed and buried his face in his pillow, it smelled like salt.
After laying on his bed for a few minutes he grew bored. He had already gone to the beach and was done building his newest model. Now he had nothing to do. He hated that feeling. He needed to do something! But what?
