Anna wasn't a fan of horses, anything really. She hated them. Well, she hated all animals... secretly. She needed to connect to god somehow. Her instinct said the forest but last time she was there she wasn't alone. She found her way into the stables were the animals, horses were kept. Maybe she could communicate through the horse. She found a nice little pegi. She knew the pegasus, she just chose to call them horses, though they were different, she didn't like things that were different. She grabbed a little brush and petted the pegi and brushed it.

Devin didn't really like flying, at all, but he was told many times by his friends that they would race him one day and he knew he couldn't turn it down. He had to practice. He pranced his way over to the stables only to find a girl there brushing the hair of a horse. he chuckled. He knew who this was, the Christian daughter of Zues, Anna. He always thought she was nice, even though she treated others like heresy. He skipped over to her, "Hey Anna!" He said loudly, excitedly, hoping he didn't startle her.

Anna Maria was having a good time, her praying to God was going well, she continued talking to him in her head, praying that he would get her out of there were there were Satan Spawns. She muttered a praying and continued with her talk only to be startled by someone. She did what her instincts and not the stupid ADHD the weird horse man told her she had. She grabbed her bible and hit the boy, she quickly grabbed her pepper spray and sprayed him in the eyes. Then once the boy was down she said loudly. "How did you know my name?!" She quickly added. "And its Anna MARIA." Hoping he would never forget that, she grabbed the bible, while the whole commotion happened she felt the day getting cloudier and windier.

Devin really couldn't think through the pain of having pepper spray in his eyes and being hit with a bible. He had doubled over with one hand on the ground. He also couldn't stop laughing. "Woah, woah Anna Maria!" He said loudly holding his hands over my eyes. "My Gosh girl was that really necessary?!" He stood up and blinked excessively. The stables had a trough of water to which he ran and dunked his head into the water. Pulling out to let his tears flow freely, clearing out his eyes. he sighed and turned back to her, "That wasn't very nice." He said, trying to sound stern but failing.

Why was he laughing? She thought to herself, she wanted him to die to be punished by Jesus and he was laughing. "Stop laughing!" She was really mad and hated that he wasn't taking her seriously. "Yes, it was." She said to him with a serious look, she wasn't going to fall into his game. "And it wasn't supposed to be nice," She stomped her feet and looked away back to the horse and ignored him.

He sighed. He thought is might happen. "Hey, hey I don't want to fight you." He said unsteadily. He wasn't sure how to deal with her way of thinking but if there was one thing. Devin loved it was being kind and helping people feel accepted. "Do you want to talk about it? Whats bothering you, I mean?" He offered. he didn't want her to hate life, and he didn't want her to hate her fellow campers either. He stepped around slowly so that she could see his face clearly, hopefully she'd know he was sincere.

"What do you want?" She asked rather cold, she wasn't one to mess with and she was feeling rather mean that day, she was still getting use to her powers, which were horrible because every time she got mad her powers reacted with her emotions, and she got mad a lot. She remembered when she was so mad that there was thunder when she was with her siblings and they were all scared of her, the look on their faces made her feel scared of herself too. Maybe she just had to control her emotions and remain neutral, but the other demigods here really weren't helping. "Nothing is bothering me." She wasn't one to talk about her life, not even her history, no one really knew her or anything only that she was a daughter of the supposed Zeus and had some issues.

"I was just coming to see the Pegusi, Just wanted to say hi, maybe take one for a ride." he answered truthfully, wanting to give her no reason to spray him in the eyes again. He walked past her to a pegusus that he had become particularly good friends with over the years and started to pat it, "Well, if nothing is bothering you then I don't know why you should go around spraying people in the eyes? I feel like you should have a good reason for doing that..." he shrugged, no point in pressing the issue further. "Anyway, i'm going to take off pretty soon... you ever flown before?" He asked slowly.

"Whatever." She said plainly. Her eyes wondered around the pegasi, one by one and she thought how unique they were even though they were all kind of the same in looks. She wondered if they felt like she felt with her brothers and sisters. Being a huntress wasn't a bad idea, but the thought of never seeing her siblings was pretty horrible, even though the shunned her. She was a bit startled coming back from her thought when she heard the question. "Uh, no. I just come here to pet them and just be here."

Devin nodded. A mischievous smile took its usual form on his lips. "Come ride one with me." He said. He was very straightforward, even toned and calm. He didn't want her to think he was going to force her but he wanted to sound convincing. He stroked the Pegasus he was next gently and gestured to it with a nod of his head, "I mean look at him. Strong, sturdy, brave." He laughed, "The Pegasus I mean. His name is Oron, he's a good friend of mine and he'd never let you fall." This girl needed to loosen up, and Devin thought he was the perfect person to make it happen.

"No." She had never been in the air, no matter how much her mother encouraged to go by an airplane to New York she simply said no. When she found out her 'father' was lord of the skies she made a vow to herself never to cross paths with air or lightning. She refused to ever be in in any connections with Zeus. "I am not scared of falling, I just don't want to." It was that simple, couldn't this guy simply take a no?

"Come on Anna Maria!" he pleaded, "I think you would like it. Your dad controls the sky, he won't let you fall or get hurt. I promise." He didn't know how he felt about making empty promises. Then she said that she wasn't afraid of falling, "Then what are you afraid of?" He asked genuinely. He figured that he probably wouldn't succeed in getting her in the air so he walked away from the Pegasi a little bit, to make it seem a little less intimidating. He was determined though, and Hermes kids don't give up very easily on things they want.

"My dad could care less if I went into his territory, and me going to his would just make it true that I am his dau-" She stopped herself, she was getting too carried away, she wasn't going to allow herself to say it, she was not going to accept it. Never. If she could, if someone would just tell her the pledge of becoming a huntress she could only answer to someone and never have to be involved in any 'demigod' business ever.

"Okay, okay. I understand." He said with a pout. There was no way he was going to get this girl in the air. Either way, maybe he could find some other way to lighten her mood. Now that he knew how crazy she was-he knew he had to be the one to fix it. There was no way he could let anyone get through the day feeling that terrible. He made a silent vow that by nightfall this girl would laugh, and mean it. "Well, I'm not going up today anyway... do you like swimming?" Time to start the questions and get this girl having some fun.

"Good, now leave." Guys like him were the reason why she wanted to become a huntress, no love, no guys, no listening to the gods, only being free. Would that really make her happy? "Swimming?" That really got her attention, she had never tried it, she disliked water. "No, I'm afraid I don't like it." According to what some of the stupid campers around this place say, children of the cabins that look really intimidating, like hers cant be in other cabins strength place. Her 'dad' was the sky and swimming required being in the water, lake, ocean. "I don't think I should be anyways."
