Can something be considered a one night stand if it happens more than once? Perhaps it had become more the moment he climbed into bed with her for the second time. If that was the case, gods know how much 'more' it was at this point. "One night may have turned into several..." he mumbled with a shrug. Any smile caused by pissing off his sister had disappeared, face drooping.

"I made her cry. And it hurt? Why did it hurt, Dakota? It never has before," he said shakily through tears, holding his legs to his chest so he had something to cling to. He didn't want his sister to see him like this. He didn't want anyone to see him like this. It was basically the opposite of the front he put on.

Dakota raised her eyebrows. Her brother saw people more than one time? That was news to her. She swore that Mickey only got the booty once before he went onto his next conquest. Someone had to be special in order for Mickey to bed them more than once. She didn't want to question how they were special, because she knew she wouldn't like the answer she would get.

She leaned forward as she placed a hand on his knee. "Mickey," she said as she looked him right in the eyes as she could tell that he wanted to cry again. "I think you have feelings for this girl and that's why it hurt. It's not unusual to feel horrible about hurting the ones we care about. Do you want to tell me more about it?"

He flinched at her touch, not expecting it in the least. He and Dakota were never particularly close. He annoyed her and pissed her off while she yelled at him and threw him out of the cabin. And yet here she was, comforting him. Besides, he wasn't used to being comforted beyond a bottle of liquor or maybe some head. Patting and hugging and all that crap weren't really something he knew.

He scoffed at her words. "I don't have... feelings for her. That's dumb. Why would I..?" he grumbled, shaking his head. "I don't get feelings for people, Kota. She's just... really hot, okay?" Beautiful, breathtaking even. So blindingly gorgeous that it hurts... And fiery, gods she's full of passion... Fuck. He wanted to punch himself in the face. "It doesn't matter. I screwed it all up. I got drunk I guess and said some stuff... I don't really remember but she does."

Dakota raised her eyebrows and the look on her face was a clear Sure you do. She was convinced that he had feelings for this girl even if he was still in denial over it himself. "Okay..." she said as she slowly nodded her head. "She's hot. This is something that I definitely needed to know." She sighed as she looked at Mickey. He wasn't acting like his normal self. This had to be bugging him a lot more than what he was letting on. "Hey," she said as she gave his knee a gentle squeeze. "How about you go apologize to her? You screwed up and hurt her. The only thing that can make this better is if you go apologize to the girl."

He groaned, burying his face in his hands. "This is why I don't sleep with someone more than once..." he complained, blue eyes peeking at her through his slender fingers. He wanted to avoid these situations and had done rather well doing just that for the past 5 years or so. Up until now. Up until Jessi.

"I just... I don't know if I wanna make it better. Because if I do that means I gotta deal with it. I just wanna ignore it 'till it goes away." Mickey was never very good at facing his problems. Failing a class? Ditch it. Someone's upset? Ignore them. He just stayed away from shit to keep his hands from getting messy. He really didn't want to miss Jessi, though.

He sighed, slowly standing up. "I think I'll lay low for a while. Let it blow over." he mumbled, walking through the mess in bare-feet. Shards of glass penetrated into his soles but he didn't even flinch. It was a good distraction. "I should probably go to the infirmary or something," he said with a shrug. "But thanks for caring or whatever."

Dakota sighed as she looked up at her brother. There was no way she was getting into his head tonight that he liked the girl and apologizing was the best route. She rolled her eyes as she stood up and helped her brother up, mainly making sure he didn't step on anymore of the broken glass around them. She looked at him as she noticed that he was looking at lot worse. She slowly nodded her head at him. "Yeah, you go to the infirmary. They're going to have fun picking out all that glass out of your back. Make sure they give you ambrosia afterwards, because it'll hurt." She slowly nodded her head as she made her way back to her room so she could sleep some more. "I'll see you around Mickey."
