Skye was sprawled out on her bed, staring into the distance blankly. She wasn't entirely sure but it seemed like her siblings weren't there... Her siblings consisting of her twin, the mermaid and her brother who died and seemingly wasn't dead anymore but maybe was just her imagination. The girl looked down at her tank where Nyphoon was swimming gleefully. It was actually time for training, but the thought alone was tiring and it was such an effort to get up and it didn't even make sense. They'd all die one way or another, it didn't matter if they'd die fighting or if they'd just die peacefully.
With a groan, she brought herself to eventually sit up. The girl had no idea if she'd actually just been laying there all day or longer, she's just been looking at nothing and it seemed like an eternity since she'd had the last smoke. Maybe it was just about time to finally put on some pants and go to the Arena... Her sister would be there and she had to at least pretend that she was training on a regular basis. Another slightly annoyed groan and Skye was out of moving and moving towards her wardrobe to get her training clothes. Before she left, she even combed her hair or at least tried and gave up on it.
The Arena still hadn't changed since the first day she'd been here and the girl was tempted to leave again. She'd been here and that was it. Weary brown eyes scanned the crowd for her twin sister, because she knew that she'd be there. If she already had to train against her will, Skye could at least talk to her sister while doing so... Maybe even train with her, if she was lucky she'd be gentler than most other demigods where during training, at least towards her. She wasn't sure though, chances were high that Star hated her by now though she didn't know exactly why. With a low sigh, she unsheathed her kopis and walked towards the corner of the Arena, where other demigods were training with swords and with an another side, she halfheartedly started attacking one of the dummies with one, two strikes before she dropped the weapon and sat down on the ground, sat down on the ground and crawled back a bit, to watch the others train rather than doing so herself as she lit a cigarette she found in one of her pockets.

It wasn't unusual for Starla to be at the arena from the moment the sun rose until the moon was high in the sky. Training into the night was always a good idea, as it heightened her reliance on senses other than her vision. Danger could be anywhere, and in the dark was certainly no exception. Starla was prepared for any situation.
She had been touching up on her archery skills. She loved blades more than anything. They were powerful, striking fear in the enemies. Bows weren't nearly as fun in her opinion. There wasn't enough action. Running into battle head-on was far more exciting than being on the sidelines. She had fallen out of practice though, and so today she had decided to practice shooting for just a bit.
Shoulders back, fingers delicately holding the arrow in place as the string begged for release. She was ready to make another perfect shot. She let the arrow fly when a familiar site caught her eye, as if a mirror had run past with a sword. Skye. The distraction had ruined her aim which had been so perfectly lined up. "Shit!" she hissed, arrow missing the target entirely.
Starla glared in her sisters direction, trudging to receive her arrow. By the time she had put all of her equipment back in its proper place and returned to look for Skye, the girl had already given up on training and was smoking a cigarette. Starla's eyes narrowed and she crossed her arms, marching across the arena to stand before her twin.
"The arena is for training. Not lazy hippies who want to smoke." She barked. No 'hey sis, how are ya.' Starla wasn't really about all the sisterly love. That hadn't always been true, though. The girls had been very close as children. Everything seemed to change after the incident, and the distance between them only grew as they aged. It had mostly been Starla's doing as she began to push everyone away, only having time for battle.

And there was her lovely sister, walking up to her through the arena. Skye tried to smile at her, when she approached, but when she snapped at her, the smile drop. Ouch. Sometimes the girl forgot that Starla hated her or not really forget she tried to block it out. But right now she couldn't do that, not when her sister was... well her sister. It wasn't her fault, that she wasn't like her. It wasn't her fault, that she was no fighter. It wasn't her fault, that she still had feelings. Gods, how much she sometimes wished that she didn't, everything seemed so much easier for her sister since her heart turned into stone. She could have snapped back it her now, yell like she did, try to hurt her with words as much as she did right now, but all she did was exhale the smoke and keep the cigarette in her hand, while she looked up at her sister.
"Lovely to see you dear sis." The smile was on her face again. She didn't care what her sister thought actually.. Skye wanted Starla to like her again, but she'd given up on that already. At least she tried to be nicer than she was. "I've been training", she declared and took one more deep drag before she extinguished the cigarette and got back up to her feet. As she straightened up, she stood at the exact same height as her sister but still she seemed so much shorter. She crossed her arms in front of her chest and looked her up and down. Their appearance was the only thing they shared. Their personalities were like day and night and though both weren't bright in any way.
"I was looking for you", the daughter of Poseidon added a bit more hesistantly, almost insecure as she pulled out her chopis again. "Actually... I wanted to train with you. We can both agree that you're the better fighter." Skye tried so much to keep up her smile, but the only thing she did was curl up the corner's of her mouth. Her eyes were cold, almost sad but she hoped that Starla was too busy being a bitch to notice it. It wasn't like she actually cared.

Perhaps she was being a bit harsh with her sister, but Skye would never toughen up without a bit of harshness. Baby birds don't learn to fly without being pushed out of the nest, and Skye was practically a baby bird with how weak she was. Starla just hoped that the girl would toughen up soon before the world stepped all over her. She scoffed a bit at the training comment. "You trained for maybe five minutes. I've been training five hours." Her sister was impossible.
She raised her eyebrows a bit at her next comment, though. "Glad to see you're taking some initiative. Gods know you'd be a goner if we were ever attacked," Starla certainly wasn't good at delivering news softly. She knew her sister was a bad fighter though and wasn't afraid to admit Skye would be one of the first to go in a battle, besides the little ones of course. "I'll train with you. It won't be easy." she warned, fully aware that Skye could back out if things got too tough.

Skye tilted her head. "Yes, you did. I'm not a fighter, okay? Judge me", she numbled more to herself and bit her lip, failing to keep up the smile. She looked up at her sister, at her next comment and nodded lightly. She was right, she'd be a goner. People around said that children of the Big Three were stronger than other demigods but she wasn't. She really, really wasn't, she was probably one of the weakest demigods around, considering that she'd been here so long. It was ridiculous. She was a fucking joke.
The daugther of Poseidon choked back a sob, when she noticed that her eyes were watering now. She didn't want Starla to abandon her and take back her offer again, because she was sure that she would if she started crying now. "Okay. Where do we start?", she asked lightly and chewed on her bottom lip nervously.

She crossed her arms, surveying Skye with a somewhat irritated look. "We haven't even started yet and you're already about to cry." She pointed out, not exactly angry but a bit disappointed. Skye wasn't ready for this. She couldn't even talk to Starla without freaking out. What made her think she could handle being trained by her? It's not that she didn't care for her sister. Starla did worry for her, worried about losing her. The girl was too weak and it frightened Starla a bit. She couldn't protect her forever.
"Gods, Skye." she groaned, shaking her head. "I don't think you're ready for this,"
