I Can Hear the Bells (The Wedding)

Achilles sighed as the limo pulled up in front of the hotel. "Do we really have to? Can't we just have Marius come up with some b.s. excuse and just leave for the Bahamas now?" He asked his new wife. "Please?" The son of Demeter gave Daphne a pleading puppy dog look. "I really don't like this."

[Daphne Scotts]

Daphne sighed as she cupped Achilles' cheek. "Harper will kill us if we miss the reception. She planned most of... well... really all of it." She smiled a bit as she rubbed her thumb over his cheekbone. "And your sisters and my sisters might kill us." She pecked his cheek as she whispered," And I don't really want to die before our wedding night." She smirked as she crawled out of the car and extended him a hand. "C'mon. Just a few hours more."

Achilles sighed as he stepped out of the limo, taking Daphne's hand as he did. "Fine, but I'm going to make sure you make this up to me later." He walked with her to the ballroom. His face set, so he wouldn't frown. "I don't like this at all." The son of Demeter whispered to his wife as he heard the congratulations from the collected populace as they walked into the reception.

[Harper Jones]

Harper squealed as the newly weds stepped into the ballroom. She was one of the first to congratulate them and started ushering them towards the food. Once everyone was seated in their designated assignments and started eating, Harper stood up and started tapping her water glass with her fork. When she had everyone's attention, she announced, "I would like to do my matron of honor speech, if that's okay with everyone?" She looked around judging the crowd's faces. She glanced over at the bride and groom to make sure they were okay with it.

Achilles silently groaned as Harper went about them with an energy unnatural. This is not going to be fun. He smiled as best he could at the several congratualations and tried to keep himself from sighing. The son of Demeter wanted to glare at his sister as she annouced that she was going to make a speech. He gave a very strained smile that probably looked ridiculous on his face. I'm not fooling anyone, am I?

[Daphne Scotts]

Daphne glanced over at Achilles to see a strained smile on his face. She sighed as she reached over and grabbed his hand and gave it a slight squeeze. She gave him an encouraging smile as she mouthed to him, Only a couple more hours. Then she turned back to Harper, interested on what she would say, since they didn't start out on the greatest terms.

Xenos sighed as he walked into the reception. He didn't want to be there. The son of the night had promised Isabella though that he would make sure they would get a present to the newlyweds. He tried to keep himself unnoticed as he walked to the presents and left one on the top. Xenos turned around and began to walk to the door, wanting to get out of there.

Daphne looked around at the crowd as Harper started on her speech. It was one of those typical speeches that got all teary eyed and stuff. Daphne didn't notice that Harper was mostly focusing on Achilles, because she noticed an unexpected visitor by the gift table. She squeezed Achilles' hand once she noticed him. It was at least five years since the kidnapping, but she still got a nightmare annually. Part of her wondered why he would show up here after all that happened.

Now, Noelle may have missed her cue on the whole flower throwing. She was a bit occupied with her brothers, and not Marius either. Being cabin leader was harder than expected, and when Chiron Iris messaged her that the cabin was sabotaging the Ares cabin, she finally understood all the things Marius held over her head. Anyway, she ended up having to transport back, sorting out the whole thing a couple of minutes. She didn't think the wedding would start as soon as it did, and by the time she was back, the place was empty, and she realized everyone would be filing into the reception. She was happy she had visited both places ahead of time.

She quickly ran to Marius, her hair a wreck and the back of her dress soaked. She hadn't gotten the time to clean herself up, and her fists were also clenched. "How did you control that place?!" She exclaimed, looking over at Daphne to give a little wave.

"Xenos." Isabella scolded as she grabbed Xenos arm. After awing over the decorations, she had lost him for a moments time, only to see him trying to sneak off. Now, she knew him and the bride did not have the most pleasant past, but that didn't mean he couldn't be respectful and go through a couple hours of her wedding. Besides, she was rather fond of Daphne, and Achilles wasn't too bad himself. "I'm here, you're here. Do not change that, or you're sleeping on the couch when we get home. Try to have a good time, okay?" She looked around the crowd, searching for the happy couple of the night.

She tugged on his hand, pulling him toward Harper, Daphne and Achilles. She didn't care if she had to force this to work, she was not having Xenos act like a toddler and avoid coming to terms with the bride. "Congratulations you two!" she smiled politely, looking at Xenos from the corner of her eyes. She hoped both of them had gotten past what had happened, because it was childish to hold such a grudge over something that happened long ago, as well as something that Xenos doesn't even remember.

Achilles scowled as Daphne brought Xenos to his attention. He pulled his new wife to himself and tensed, wondering what the child of the night could possibly want. Then Isabella came over with him to congratulate them. The swordsman was caught off guard at Xenos' withdrawn attitude towards this whole ordeal. "Are you okay?" He whispered to his bride, making sure no one but her could hear his question.

Daphne forced a smile at Isabella and Xenos as they came up to say their congratulations. She had nothing against Isabella. She was one person she preferred seeing in the hospital wing, since she wasn't an Apollo kid and fixed up her sprained wrist multiple times. "Thanks," she said a little forced to the couple in front of her. Then she whispered back to Achilles, "I'll be fine."

Xenos stood there. He didn't know what to say. This was the girl who's life he had torn apart. What should I say? I'm sorry will never cover it. The son of the night looked over at Isabella. He couldn't remember what he had done, but it still didn't make it okay and it never would. "Congratulations." Xenos mumbled to the couple. He pulled on Isabella's hand slightly, hoping to remind her that they were gate crashers.

Uriel's eyebrow raised as he tension gathered. Uriel gave Xenos a signal, to assure him that it will be okay. But to break the tension, Uriel grabbed his mic and said "Woah, I almost forgot.. I still have to sing..." Uriel gave the crowd a smile and they laughed, Uriel smiled and went to the stage, placing the mic in the mic holder. Then he spoke "...I've sung this song, for many times..in the past few months. .. but today it makes a significance, ...this day, it's the exact date that the mighty RMS titanic, has struck the iceberg, This song..is for all the passengers, that died within the night, and to the newly weds, in which I think that the song speaks for them."

The flute played, and Uriel started to sing.
