Ivy League Hideout (Jacob+Accalia)

[Accalia Phillips]

"Yeah! That seems to make sense enough..." She felt his grip on her tighten and she got a little more excited about this endevour they were about to go through with. "Alright sir! Now, lets try going a little...farther." She smiled and pulled his hand firmly toward her, indicating that he should fly forward. She turned her head slightly so she could see where they were going.

He smiled and moved forward until she stopped pullingon his hand. It was turning out to be a lot easier than he thought. He wasnt expecting the wind up here to feel this nice. It wasnt cold like the books said it was so he wondered if it was just him that wasnt cold from it. "Are you cold?" He tilted his head down at her. It was a little strange to be asking her that at a time like this, or height.

Accalia looked back at his face when he asked the question. It was a bit of an odd time to ask that kind of question but Accalia thought about it for a second. The parts of her body that were touching him were very warm, but the parts that weren't, like the back of her legs or neck, those were a bit cold. "Uh... halfway?" She answered slowly.

Jacob raised an eyebrow. "Um.....Thats....An...Answer?" He scoffed trying to figure out what that meant. Of all the answers that could have been said and that he expected that was never to be one that came across his mind, so he began laughing. The question was awkward and so was the answer but he couldnt help it so he started laughing.

As everyone knows laughter is pretty infectious, so natrually Accalia began laughing as well. "What I meant was..." she tried to speak between the chuckles, "That parts of me are warm and parts are cold. Like me hand is pretty warm, and whatever other part of me is touching you. See?" She kept laughing even though her words sounded a little odd she didn't care. She was having fun, laughing and smiling. She felt like she was flying. She laughed really hard again realizing that she WAS flying!

He only laughed harder as she tried to explain it. It felt rather good compared to the last few days. Things had begun to get rather interesting in that time but painful as well. The whole screw-up on beating on Raphael making it so he couldnt get the information on Diane out of him. The whole thing was screwed up. Jacob suddenly realized he stopped laughing and had his head tilted down slightly. He tried to cover it by lifting his head and letting out a small chuckle.

Accalia noticed and panicked. He grip on his hand tightened, "Why did you stop laughing? Did you hear something?" Being in the air does tend to make a person a little more paranoid about small things than usual. Jacob then gave a small chuckle but Accalia wasn't buying it. She was already in the panic stage. "I say we go down now...to the ground?" She asked.

Swear words rushed through his head and he began lowering them down to the ground. "Its fine a random thought just passed through my head and i got distracted. Once they got to the ground he let her go. He felt guilty for some reason. Part of him knew the feeling was useless but it was still there and it ate at him. Jacob took a deep breath and ignored the barking of boots. "Are you okay?"

"What random thought?" Accalia knew she sounded nosy but she didn't care. There wasn't much room for subtly at camp, so she just had to be blunt. Once they touched the ground he let her go fairly quickly, she wasn't sure what that meant but she took a few steps back and tried to steady herself, "Whew. Back on land. Weird feeling." She muttered. She smiled at Jacob, "I'm fine. I'd love to fly with you again, just...needed a break." She said.

he faked a smile. "it was just a question about my past with my step-father, back before he went to jail." He lied. He never knew if he was a good liar or not. He knew he could hide the lie in his voice but he wasnt sure if his facial expressions gave it away. Jacob nodded in agreement about the weird feeling and smiled when she said she'd love to fly with him again. "I can understand that..." He was still trying to regain himself from that.

"Jail....flying... it's been an interesting day with you." Accalia giggled a little, and naturally the flowers in her hair bloomed and the plants around her grew half an inch or so. Not that Jacob would notice. The thought started to make Accalia a little sad. Picturing the fact that her favorite thing in the world couldn't even be admired by her new friend. She lingered on the thought for a moment as she looked at the flowers around her. She sighed and folded her arms. A small part of her wanted to walk away, but instead she looked back at Jacob. He was handsome for sure, tall and had a nice smile. He was smiling now, but she wasn't sure why. "Why the smile?" She asked.

Jacob laughed in agreement. "Yeah its definitely been interesting today." He hadnt been flying before and it was definitely a weird feeling but it wasnt horrible. His thoughts started to drift starting at weird feelings then moving to how the wind felt before getting to the curiousity of what colors were like and ending at him wishing he could see. The thing with this being wrong now was it was the first time he admitted it to himself that he wanted to be able to see so it struck him. After a couple seconds he finally processed the question. "Oh because you said you would love to fly with me again." He grinned, trying to force himself to try and ignore the feeling.

Accalia unfolded her arms. It had been a really long time since... wow. Accalia couldn't even remember his name. Her first year at camp she had a minor thing with an Aphrodite boy. She literally had to stand and think for a few moments, but the boys name escaped her. How could she forget his name? She gasped allowed before finally realizing what Jacob had said. "You must like my company then, Sir." She said, trying to sound happier than she was feeling. At least Jacob wouldn't notice the wilting flowers. She noticed the grin on his face, it seemed to grow by the second. She began to smile, it was infectious.

He nodded. "Who wouldnt enjoy the Miss's company?" He tilted his head and his grin widened even more but stopped halfway through. Instead it began shrinking. He got a strange look on his face and sniffed the air. "Thats strange. There was this really good smell in the air from some kind of plant but its disappearing." The son of the sky took a couple steps to both sides trying to find it again. He almost walked into a tree before he decided it was in the other direction.

Accalia blushed, but then is smile started to disappear. Oh my Gods she realized, He noticed the flowers... She could feel herself smiling, he actually noticed her creation, her life her...passion. Accalia reached out and grabbed his hand quickly when he started walking towards a tree, "Hold up! That was the flowers." She said swiftly.
