Raphael stood at the beach with the water washing over his feet. something was off with him. he started that fight with Jacob without even trying. most of the time he was trying to stop it but whenever he opened his mouth or tried to stop it only got worse. not to mention he got beat up and down the stables by a blind man. he had two options there to either train and go for a rematch eventually or say it was unfair facing a son of Ouranos. Jacob didnt seem to care about boasting about it though, so it wasnt as serious. though he did know something about Diane. the seer told him about her and warned him to try and keep it away from Jacob as long as possible. he adjusted his arm so it wasnt pushing against the wound in his side. it was either the thing that was wrong with him or he was just to out of it to notice the other person around.

Sitting at the edge of the beach sat a figure staring into what would probably look like a mirror from afar. "No, mom I'm fine. Just tell the others to continue without me, let one of them sing lead. I know they've been dying to try." Sophia felt like throwing a pebble into the Iris message that hovered in front of her. Making it dissolve. She knew how her mother felt about all this Greek stuff, she wasn't comfortable in it. But this was part of her life now, and she wasn't leaving until she had revealed all it's secrets. Clearly her mother wasn't listening to the girl, as her expression soured and suddenly there was no need to throw any type of object at the Iris message, because it was gone now. She understood, really she did, but there wasn't any reason for her mom to get hasty. She couldn't just see that she was safe and happy now, that she wasn't deemed as crazy or schizophrenic here.
Furrowing her eyebrows, she stood up, kicking some sand over where her mom's face had appeared. She turned on her bare foot, watching only her feet as she walked up the coast line. She would have walked straight into someone else if she hadn't seen the shadow first. Her eyes wandered up, and as they did, she noticed a gash in the boy's side. "Oh my gods." She breathed, grabbing at her side for her blade. "What happened?" It was always a monster that did something like this, at least she guessed.

he suppressed a jump when the woman next to him spoke up. he raised an eyebrow and looked down at his side. it was bandaged but carelessly he kind of insult the apollo who bandaged it. he wasnt trying to though. "its nothing i just got in a fight with the wrong kind of guy...." he pulled his jacket over to cover it up to try and get off the topic of his extreme failure. "im Raphael and you?" he would have continued to end that sentence with an 'are?' but that same feeling that came whenever he lost control of what he was doing started to wash over him again. this time he tried to stop it, in doing so he completely dropped the sentence.

Even after two years here, it was hard to think people didn't know who she was. She'd changed, a lot, over the years, but not too much. Besides, she still did gigs with her band some times, there were posters in places. But she had to stop and think; There was posters in places. Places everywhere but camp. She'd never been all that famous in the first place, but when she was out and about, and least there were those people that recognized her, and said 'Hey! Aren't you Sophia Kendell?'. Sighing, she shook her head a little, to herself mostly.
"Maybe if you'd stop being full of yourself..." She thought, a little crankily. "Sophia, Sophia Kendell." She flashed a small smile, but her eyes again wandered to the area she had noticed the gash. "Wrong kind of guy." She muttered, and raised an eyebrow, relaxing her hand from her shortsword.

Raphael raised an eyebrow at her. it didnt work. he didnt even come close to holding it back. the name seemed familiar where had he heard i- thats right. "nice to meet you miss allstar." he let loose a grin and turned to look down on her. he scoffed at her and tilted his head, speaking in a sarcastic voice he continued. "so how long have you been hiding here from your band? then again i heard they're doing fine."

Soph frowned a little. Doing just fine. Her mother made it seem like they were all living in the streets, begging for gigs, for her to come back. Then she realized the boy was being sarcastic, however that didn't make her feel any better. "Hiding isn't the word." She sighed, looking at the ground. "It's more of a break. And not even from the band. More like the world." It wasn't like she had anything against the world; She was just better left out of it. The mortal world wasn't for her, reality wasn't for her, she was hardly being kept within the fingers of the mythological world. She much rather preferred sifting between the three, or burying herself into her imagination and mind.
"Not gonna ask for an autograph?" She asked, half heartily laughing.

he scoffed again. "why bother its obvious your giving up." a smirk spread across his face. "your giving in because you think the world cant handle what you cant." he stated simply and turned away as he continued. "this 'break' will probably last longer than anyone thinks and maybe, thats what you had planned. let everyone else stand above you while they do the work?" he turned his head back to her to check her expression. he wasnt sure if he was getting to her or not since he didnt have much information on her.

Sophia looked shocked at the boy, her face a visual of hurt. That wasn't what she was doing at all; She wasn't giving up. She was trying to fit in, find people that got her, and she thought here that's where she would. This boy, this rude insensitive boy, was crushing that for her. She did want to join her band again, she even wanted to go solo at some point. She just wanted to understand a bit more about herself, gain some friends she could trust that she could tell literally everything too, and not just stuff mortals would find normal. But when you're put on that big spot light, in the magazines, there were always going to be people that held those horrible images of you; That you were this selfish two faced jerk. She hated that, especially when it was her being compared to those type of people.
"Look," She muttered softly. "I'm not giving up. Were you giving up when you came here? Is suddenly coming to a safe haven for people like yourself called giving up? I came here to prove to myself that I'm not insane, that I'm not that schizo band chick. I came here to meet people like me, so that when I go back out there, I'll have just a small idea that I'm not the only person out there like me." She shook her head, jaw set.

he smirked at her and shook his head. "Oh Raphael gave up a long time ago." he started to laugh for a couple seconds before continuing. she was just giving him more to feed the fire. "you probably are insane though. you know as far as you know this could be a hallucination or just a big dream for your big coma." he began to laugh even more as he walked towards her. "you are the only one out there. you think anyone is gonna want to back up a rock star who has sanity problems?"he tilted his head a mocked a frown at her.

Sophia stumbled back a little, a lump building in her throat, growing larger and larger as the boy talked. He was being worse than the critics, and it hit her hard. She wasn't exactly egotistic, but her self-confidence was an open wound, it always was, ever since she started in the band. She was shy to the praises, avoided talking about her success; She just did it, preformed, lived any other kids dream. You could tell her she was beautiful, call her the best singer in the world, and she would ignore it and she wouldn't believe you no matter what you did. But make fun of her and she'd take it like she'd been shot in the head.
"Stop it!" She sputtered, a few tears escaping. It really could have been a hallucination, and if it was reality she could hardly tell the difference anyway. She'd been confused for so long, if what she had thought had been her imagination -which were really Greek monsters- hurt her, she'd still think it would be her imagination to this day. The tears kept flowing, and eventually she was trying to avoid swallowing them. This would really make song gold later, but now she didn't have a grip on herself to think about that. "I-I don't have sanity problems." While they weren't the ones that her mother had thought she had before this, she probably did have a few sanity problems. She wasn't admitting that though.
She kept stumbling backwards too, trying to get her legs to carry her to her cabin, but it was like riding on a slug.

he definitely hit something and rather easily. he was expecting to get slapped but he already seemed to have moved past that. he smirked walking along side her with his hands behind his back. "are you completely sure? i mean after all your here arent you? if its not a coma or a hallucination then maybe we are all just sick and seeing the same thing, and this is all just one big place to hold us. that would also mean the people out there that you rely on, but they dont trust you or even think of you as an normal person." he shrugged and took a step in front of her. "these are some of the thoughts moving through your head right?"

Sophia's hands were shaking by now. She turned her head to the ground, trying not to look at the boy that had called himself Raphael. She didn't know why he was doing this, or why this was happening to her. Her breaths came out shakily through the tears, and she was lucky she wasn't into makeup or anything. That was about the only thing she had with luck in this situation. She continued backing up, aware that he was still speaking, that he was following her, but trying to ignore as best she could, slipping into her little daydream-y world. But she couldn't stop listening.
"Th-that's really none of your business! And why won't you just leave me alone!" Her neck snapped up as she yelled, fist clenched weakly. She had no chance fighting against him, even if she still had her sword at her side. She was shaken up, and she couldn't fight like that. She just hoped someone would hear that yell, or if this boy was as insensitive and aggressive as he came across, she'd have to go down in defense mode.

Xenos appeared suddenly in between the two of them. Bags were under his eyes from his customary lack of sleep. He looked at the girl and saw the state she was in. The primordial child turned to the guy and glared. "What in Hades do you think you're doing?" He demanded of the younger man. "What makes you think you can treat a lady like this?" Xenos had a gauntlet made of shadow covering his right hand as he glared at Raphael. He realized that this guy had been at his trial.

he smirked as he saw Xenos appear between the two of them. it was rather interesting to see him after all this time. "ah! Mister Memory himself! Well havent you heard she has a sanity problem." Raphael took to walking to the side as he continued. "it makes you wonder if you remember anything over that time. how you betrayed everyone, including miss isabella. i mean after all the state you were in it didnt even seem to matter to you as you killed harmless campers."

Sophia's eyes opened wide as another boy appeared. However, this one seemed a little nicer than the other, at least having the decency to stick up for her. Her tears slowed a little, now that she knew at least someone was on her side. She could stand that, she could bear through what the other boy placed on her if she knew someone was there. Then, said boy opened his mouth another time. Again with the sanity and insanity. "I do not!" She said, barely above a hoarse whisper.
She tuned out after that, eyebrows creased in frustration, tears still trickling down her cheeks. She didn't want to listen what the boy had to say if she didn't need to speak with this other boy here. Instead, she shakily lowered herself onto the ground, head laid in one hand while she traced nothing in particular into the sand.
