Afterlife (OPEN)

[Xenos Dhar]

Xenos had been trying to get to sleep in a secluded room in the Big House. He was laying down on a couch that had been pushed up against a wall. His eyes were closed and his breathing steady, but his insomnia prevented him from actually falling asleep. The child of the night heard a sound and opened his eyes. He sat up suddenly at the sight of his mother.

"Hello Xenos, how have you been, my son?[/b]" Nyx smiled softly at him. Xenos didn't know what to do or say as he continued to stare at the Primordial Goddess before him. "I've missed you so much. Won't you come back to me?[/b]"

Raynes hands began shaking slightly as he neared the big house. It was the voice. Her voice. The woman who woke him up in that hospital. He carefully pushed the door open and his hands began shaking a little more as he saw the figure of an actual woman in the room. His eyes slightly noticed the other greasy man on the couch and he gave him a look trying to find out if Rayne was hallucinating or not. He didnt want to end up like the old man Garett on the streets of sparta who alway shouted strange things at him. Now the question appeared to the son of Zeus if some of the stuff the old man was saying was actually true.

Xenos' eyes widened in fear as he tried to back away from his mother. He seemed to be absolutely terrified by Nyx. The slight memories he had of the time after Isabella fell into the coma almost always seemed to revolve around some kind of torment he was being subjected to by her. The son of the night drew one of his katars and held it in front of him.

Something was off. Xenos pulled out his Katars, then did that mean this woman was dangerous? The son of Zeus quickly glared at the woman while his hands and feet moved slowly. He quietly drew his sword with his shaking right hand and quietly stepped to the side, moving behind the woman standing in the room. Electricity flashed from his hand and small sparks danced across his blade as he took a position. Keeping his blade at the ready he spoke up. "Who are you?"

"I am your patron, little boy.[/b]" Nyx told Rayne. "So you better praise me for saving your miserable skin from the fields of punishment." Xenos didn't know what to say. He was still frozen in fear. The son of the night could see various memories that he had forgotten and finally realized why he had forgotten.

The son of Zeus would've let the sword drop from his hands had he not automatically reacted when the tip made small sound when it touched the ground. There wasnt much to say, though he did manage to say something. His lips parted as he managed to get out one word before tilting his head to the side. "What?" What she said made sense to him he was just trying to see if she was joking with him which felt really unlikely.
