Harper shouldered her bag and sword and looked at the group.
"Has anyone thought about how we're getting there? If we're walking, it's going to take about two and a half months. Unless we find a really cheap bus ticket, it's going to take two to three days driving and can any of you guys drive?"

Taylor stared at Kad. "Do you WANT to die? Kad, flying would mean being blasted out of the sky by Zues himself. I'd much rather take a pegasi, thank you." She sighed, taking her bag from her hand and shouldering it, making sure Josh was on her other shoulder before doing so.

Harper closed her eyes and pushed the hair out of her face while letting out a frustrated sigh. I totally forgot Kad and Ciel are Big Three children, but pegasi are just one more thing to worry about not getting hurt. She opened her eyes.
"Does anyone object to the pegasi?" She looked around at the group. "Because if not, we can get them right now and leave. And don't worry about grabbing enough supplies for them, we can stop in Indiana on the way over."
Gawds, did you really offer stopping by your house? You barely know these people and you haven't spoken to your own family since you ran away. This is disaster in the making.

Harper nodded as she nervously shifted her bag to the other shoulder. "Since nobody is objecting, call them, Kad." Di-sas-ter! You're going to regret this! Never should have offered in the first place!

Immediately regretting not saying anything on the matter, Ciel backed off as soon as the...thing landed, barely processing what Taylor had just said.
"Huh? Oh, uh... I'm ok. I'll...take my chances. You guys go ahead, and I'll fly or somethin'." "
He muttered, almost incoherent due to attempting to hide the growing uneasiness in his voice. He knew that he'd only be able to keep up something as difficult as manipulating the winds for a couple of hours, if not less, but anything was better than riding on the back of a Pegasus.

Ciel shoved the creature away when it approached, eyes downcast. " Well, shall we think this through a minute? We'll be riding these for a while and they might get...uhh.. tired. Sure we aren't better off with a car? "

Harper rolled her eyes. "A. Do you see a car around here? And B. Can you drive? Because from the sounds of it, I'm the only one who can drive, but I don't have a license. So, if you can find a car and guarantee us from getting pulled over, let me know." And driving means I don't have to face my family. Which I'm perfectly content with.

Ciel adjusted the backpack so that it was slung over his shoulder again, simply for something to do, still keeping his distance from the Pegasi."Uhh...of course not, Kad. That'd be stupid. So, shall we get going, then?"

He said a little louder than before, reaching out to grab the creature's mane, managing to do so in the most awkward way possible, though not too hard. All the while he kept his gaze downcast, hiding his more than worried expression from the others.

Harper looked at the pegasus that approached her. It was normal-looking, but it had a haunted look in its eye. It was all too familiar to Harper, but she shook it off. "We're stopping in Indiana for supplies, right?" She asked while mounting the pegasus. Someone please object to this now. This is going to be a disaster.

Harper gently kicked her pegasus and it started rising into the sky. "No objections? Well, what are we waiting for then? Let's get moving before Chiron gets upset at us." Or even more upset with me, but I can deal.
