Catching Up? (Rachel/Xenos/Open) [PHANES CABIN]

Ophelia danced around her cabin as gracefully as the Montgomery girl could get. She was unpacking the few things she brought back from the Quest. Yes, she had finally made it back home from Hawaii, after being practically abandoned by Uriel and Harper. She had had to spend Christmas there, which wasn't all that bad, but she had been ever so excited to see her mom for the first time in months. She didn't hold it against them though, because she was just in the way, it wasn't like she had taken enough action to be noticed. She was celebrating with her animals, her stereo blasting to the beat of one of her mothers old cds, some person by the name of Katy Perry was heard throughout the room and she danced, picking up each of her animals individually and spinning them around the room before going back to packing, as if she were snow white.

Another cause for celebration was getting back to her little revenge on the Hermes cabin. She didn't normally hold grudges this long, but they had done so much to her, she just thought she could balance it out a bit. She also had a note from her mother, a very good note in fact. It stated that her mom was proud of her for getting a quest and that she could get another pet, something that normally occurred only every Summer. Being Ophelia, she had a wide range of animals she would absolutely love to get, mostly consisting of mythological ones she'd probably have to ask her father about through a prayer. A Phoenix maybe? Or possibly a Laelaps? Whichever would be perfect. a Coccatiel if neither of them tied over. She sighed as she plummeted down on to the end of her bed, finished all her packing. What to do now? There was ever so much to catch up on...

Her feet didn't agree with sitting down, and soon she was air-guitaring and banging her head along with the music as it changed to a band Ophelia knew at Nickleback.

Rachel was literally wondering this camp for ten minutes when she heard loud music and followed it, finding a cabin. Maybe Hermes? She hoped so, she was tired. She knocked on the door and peeked in, seeing a girl gaming out. "Um... Excuse me... Do you know where the Hermes cabin is?" she asked as she looked around the cabin, seeing no one else.

"No." Xenos said from behind the new girl. "It's the Phanes cabin. Who are you?" He looked at the other girl and something seemed familiar about her, but he couldn't quite place it. "Do I know you?" The son of the night asked Ophelia. "I think I've seen you before, but I can't remember."

"Aah!" Ophelia jumped up from her air guitar and bed, Reditus also giving out a high pitched screech, clawing the air with his paws. Ophelia shushed the cat, before looking up at her two visitors, grinning like and idiot as she skipped over to her stereo, turning it off with a flicked of her risk and a turn of the dial. She turned to the girl in the doorway, and opened her mouth to answer, though instead another voice interrupted and she waited for her turn.

She gave the boy a questioning glance, before raising her eyebrows. "You're the man from the Iris message!" She exclaimed as Pura came out from her usual spot in the closet with Reditus, and she found Vitae and Pulcher crawling up onto her shoulders, all of them with there teeth bared. Obviously none of the animals found this guy's aura in no way clean. "Hush!" She scolded the animals, before tilting her head at the boy. "What do you want here?" She said quietly, before ushering both guest inside.

Rachel looked between the two a littke confused but shrugged, walking into the cabin and lookin at all the animals and felt tricks wiggle in her jacket pocket. That's he only place he would stay at. He hated cages the only reason she had one was so xhirom didnt know. "Um... I was just lookin for my new home.." she said and looked at the two then relized something "I'm Rachel by the way." she Added quickly and then continued looking around the room.

Xenos was confused. He had no idea what this girl was talking about. "Iris message? Oh, and I'm Xenos." The primordial child watched Ophelia. "What are you talking about? Is this about something before I died?" He had a bad feeling about this. He wasn't certain he wanted to know, but he couldn't keep himself from asking.

"I'm Ophelia!" She nodded at the girl with a smile, practically twirling around to grab both her rodentine animals and setting them on her bed, scolding them once more before looking down at Pura and Reditus. To Ophelia, it looked like they were deep in thought, to anyone else, they probably looked like any other animal. But this girl knew better, because it seemed they were looking between each other and the boy. Normally they would already be fighting like any other cat and dog.

"Died?" The girl looked up from her pets in disbelief. She had only just gotten back from Hawaii... How much had exactly happened while she'd been away? "What do you mean, died?" She bit her lip. Only regeneration magic could bring him back. Did her dad have a part in that?

Xenos smiled at her. "I'm not certain, but I do know that I died and I remember the underworld. If only briefly. I figured my mother and half-brother had something to do with it." He sighed as he thought about what happened. "My memory is gone of anything after I arrived at camp the first time. I can only remember anything before that and my death. I don't remember anything else before my death."

Rachel made a 'oh' sound as he talked. She looked between the two and shook her head. She smiled and shrugged "Well I haven't heard of you before this so I guess we can only look forward." she said then turned to the girl and smiled "And it's nice to meet you." she said and jumped when she heard a squeal from her pocket and opened it, tricks poping his head out from his nap. "Silly tricks..." she said and pet his head
