twent One, Two, Three, Four, and Five. Zachary was holding the limb of a tree and doing the best pull-ups he could manage, which were very effective. He was bored. Incredibly bored and being in that mood was not something that suited Zachary well. Once he got bored anything could happen. Once he reached his thirtieth push-up Zachary decided that that was boring too. He sighed, glancing around the forest, weren't there any monsters that he could fight? Any bigger trees he could climb? After a short second of contemplating his options, Zachary pulled out his sword and examined it, deciding what was the best to destroy with it. He took a swing at the nearest branch.

Lucy bit her lip, her hands pushed deep into her pockets and her duffle bag strapped over her shoulder as she walked through the all too familiar forest. It felt weird to be back after being away for months. She wasn't even completely sure that she wanted to come back yet, but figured that no one would actually notice when she did. She continued trapsing through the forest, a slight frown on her face until she heard a noise forcing her to look around. As she stepped around a tree, she noticed a boy taking a swing at a tree branch with his sword. Leaning back against a nearby, the daughter of Hermes crossed her arms over her chest and tilted her head to the side. "What did the tree ever do to you?" She asked, eyebrows raised.

Zachary didn't even bother to turn around, he just swung at the branch one more time until it felt with a thud next to him. "Nothing," he responded, bending down to examine his cut. He was pretty choppy and uneven-which was expected. He then stood up and turned to face the girl. "I can honestly say I was just getting bored out here. Where ya going'?" He gestured to her duffle bag. She was obviously either leaving or returning. He assumed it was the second one considering he hadn't seen her around lately. He had been at camp for nine years, minus summers visiting his mother, and so he had seen her before around the Hermes kids. But there were so many campers they hadn't spoken much. Once or twice maybe.

Lucy kept her arms crossed as she watched the boy take another swing at the branch and examine it. Her eyebrows were still raised at his response. Her eyes did a quick once over on the boy in front of her, she recongnised him only in the way that she'd seen him around camp before she took off. Other than that she had no idea who he was or what cabin he was in. She glanced down at her duffle bag and back at the boy, wondering why he wanted to know for a moment before giving a shrug. "I'm returning, actually."

Zachary nodded slowly as the girl answered his question. He was glad, he didn't want someone going out there and getting hurt, even if the whole adventure would be fun. He felt a frown slightly appear on his face as he thought of the adventure that was waiting out there for him. He brought his smile back and made eye contact with the girl once again. "Well, it's nice to have you back." He let his smile return, "I'm Zachary," he started as he sheathed his sword. No point keeping the thing out now, unless a monster attacked.

Lucy watched his face as he welcomed her back. Over the past few months, Lucy couldn't help but become cynical of people actually wanting to be near her. Every one of her friends that she'd stayed with while running away from camp had eventually asked her to move on. Her arms crossed tighter over her chest as her head tilted to the side. "Thanks." She responded, no warmth in her voice. She pushed off the tree and took a few steps towards Zachary. "I'm Lucy."She answered him, placing her hands on her hips as she watched him placing her hands on her hips.

The girl had turned out to be a little cold. Zachary just figured that she didn't want to be coming back, or maybe she just didn't like people. But that didn't matter to him, Zachary liked new people and causing drama. It all gave him a rush, and meeting this girl was doing just that. "Nice to meet you Lucy. My Godly parent is Poseidon, but don't be threatened by the big three of it all." He let a smirk escape his lips, "Kidding. Need company walking back into camp?"

Before running away, Lucy had been incredibly bright and bubbly, always wanting to have a chat with friendly people. however, because of her solo travels and because she now felt like no one cared about her, she had become cold towards people in general. The daughter of Hermes crossed her arms over her chest again, raising her eyebrows when he told her not to be threatened by who his father was. In all honesty, she wasn't threatened, more judgy of the fact that he seemed to think he was better than everyone else because of it. "Don't worry. I'm not." Lucy told him coldly, just avoiding rolling her eyes at him. She adjusted the shoulder strap of her bag at his offer before starting to turn towards camp. "If you want." She replied with a wave of her hand, not really minding if he came with her or not.

Zachary tried not to scoff. The girl needed to lighten up, and he knew exactly how to get her to chill out. He unsheathed his sword and reached it toward her, slowly slipping it under the strap of her bag and starting to slip it off of her shoulder. "Lucy, I think you need to loosen up." He slipped the bag off even quicker until it was almost off her hand. "Fight me." He said. Flat out, straightforward and very seriously, of course he still had a smirk on his face which Lucy would see when she turned around.

Lucy didn't feel like she needed to lighten up. What she needed, was to get back to her cabin so she could unpack and have a nap in her own bed. She heard the sound of him unsheathing his sword, though didn't pay much attention to it, figuring Zachary was just going back to hacking up trees. That is, until she felt it brush past her, slipping her bag off her shoulder. She tensed up as the bag's strap came completely loose of her shoulder and she stood with her back to the son of Poseidon. Was he actually being serious with wanting to fight her to make her loosen up? The daughter of Hermes turned around, eyes narrowed and noted the smirk on his face which instantly made her mind up for her. Reaching up behind her, Lucy pulled what appeared to be a single sword from its scabbard on her back before splitting it into two, wickedly sharp curved dao swords and moving into a relaxed fighting position. "You sure you still want to fight me?" She asked, eyebrows raising as she challenged him.

Zachary eyed her up and down for a moment, analyzing her stance, taking it in. She had a very good advantage to him size wise. Sometimes in the forest it was better to be smaller than your opponent. Zachary let his smirk remain on his lips and shrugged slightly, "I'm sure. Whether you like fighting or not, it will get your mind off everything and you'll just be able to focus the battle. Nothing else." He then proceeded to form a fighting post himself, his knees bent and his elbows high holding his sword tight in his grip.
