Lay All Your Love On Me (Xenos)

[Harper Jones]

Harper lost track of time when the primordials finally left Camp Half Blood. She couldn't tell you how long she ran away from camp for good this time. All she knew that she was with Xenos and they were west... or maybe north from camp. She knew that she was by the home camp of the primordials somewhere in North America. Not that it really mattered. She was staying with Xenos in a nearby town and that was all that it seemed to matter at the moment.

She curled up in a chair by the fireplace in Xenos's home with her oversized sweatshirt and book. It snowed only a few days ago, so it made for perfect weather for reading and relaxing. Something she rarely got to do at camp.

Xenos walked into the living room of his house, smiling as he say Harper up in one of the chairs. His arms wrapped around her as he moved to sit on the arm of the chair she was in. "Hey, Harper. I..." He started before letting his sentence drop off, too nervous to continue with what he was planning on asking her. The son of the night took a deep breath as he felt his face heat up a little bit. "I was..." He started once again before stopping. He was starting to get frustrated with his own nervousness when it came to Harper.

Harper looked up from her book as she smiled at Xenos. She shifted in the chair so she was leaning up against him as she closed her book. She raised her eyebrows expectantly at him as she waited for him to say something to her, but his sentence dropped off twice. "Cat got your tongue?" she smirked at him as she nudged his side with his shoulder. "C'mon Xenos. Don't worry or whatever. It's just me." She giggled a bit as she looked up at him. "So what were you wanting to tell me? Or did you just want to say my name and 'I' for the fun of it?"

[Xenos Dhar]

"Dammit, you're not helping with that, Harper." Xenos told her as his face heated up more from her teasing. "I'm having enough trouble trying to say this as it is. I was hoping..." He stopped again as he took a deep breath, trying to say the next few words. his face got even more red as he muttered out something inaudible, not able to say it clearly because of his embarrassment. The soldier looked down at the book she had been reading, using it as a distraction to try and help keep his mind off what he was trying to do and just do it.

Harper raised her eyebrows when Xenos didn't respond well to her teasing. She watched as he struggled with whatever he was trying to say or ask her as his face heated up more and more. She studied his face for a moment as he mumbled something and she didn't catch one bit of it. She studied his face more before it hit her what he was trying to say. "Xenos?" she asked as she straightened up a bit as she looked at him. "Are you asking me what I think you're asking me?" She chuckled a bit as she shook her head. "You've been mine, Xenos, for a while. I wouldn't be here if I didn't want you. I haven't had the chance to tell you since we were moving a lot. But I'm ready."

Xenos found himself dumb founded at her sudden announcement that he was hers. His face turned a very deep red at being discovered before even being able to ask his question. It had taken all of his confidence to even attempt to ask her about being his girlfriend. "Uhhh..." He tried to say something to her, but couldn't think of anything at all. His mind in a big mess about the whole thing. "How?" The primordial child asked her after a few seconds. The only word that even came to mind after she had surprised and stunned him about it.

Harper sighed as she looked up at her almost boyfriend. This was noway going to be easy for the two of them. She moved over in the chair so she could pull her boyfriend down off the arm rest and have him sit next to her. "I like you," she said slowly as she looked at him. "I like you and I want to be your girlfriend and you my boyfriend." She sighed again as she reached out to push some of his hair out of his face before she cupped his cheek. "I know we were waiting for me, but I'm ready. And I want you. I wouldn't have stayed if I didn't." She glanced down at her lap before looking back up at him. "Do you still want me?"

"Yes." Xenos told her, still a little bit stunned about the whole thing. "I do still want you to be mine. I don't think that would change with just you surprising me." He takes a deep breath to try and calm down his blush slightly, smiling at her softly. "I was just not expecting you to do that." He told her truthfully. The son of the night was still more than a little embarrassed about the whole thing and it still showed on his face. "I had spent quite a while trying to get up the nerve to ask you." He said with a short laugh.

Harper chuckled softly to herself as she gently stroked her thumb over his cheekbone. "I wasn't really planning on it either," she said as she gave him a half smirk, half smile. "I just noticed you were struggling... and I told you that I was ready for a while now." She giggled as his last statement as she stopped stroking his cheek. "You can still ask, you know," she said with a bit of a smirk as she leaned in close to him so that her forehead was resting against his. "I would hate to see all that nerve worked up for nothing. I'll say yes if that makes you feel better."

"No, I'm good. I don't think I was going to be able to say anything if you hadn't done that." Xenos admitted to Harper with a embarrassed smile. "I was really in a downward spiral there." His face turned a deeper shade of red slightly as he told her how well it had been going when he had tried to ask her to be his girlfriend. He hugged her a little tighter and smirked. "So I'm happy with how things turned out just now." The primordial child said to his new girlfriend.

Even though he didn't seize the opportunity to ask her properly, Harper smiled widely at her new boyfriend. Her thumb returned to stroking his cheek as she moved so she was sitting on his lap. "I like how things turned out too," she said with that wide smile before she moved in to kiss him sweetly and gentle before she pulled away. "Like, a lot." She giggled a bit before she blushed even more. "I haven't been this happy in a while." Then she leaned in to kiss her boyfriend again, but this time it was a little deeper than before.

Xenos kissed her back with a wide smile, sliding down into the seat of the chair to sit in it without falling over. His arms tightened around her and pulled her closer to himself. Her lips felt so great on his, and he wanted more. He pressed himself against her and deepened the kiss, slipping his tongue into her mouth. After a while, the Primordial child pulled away from Harper to smile at her. "Hey, I have a present for you." He tells her with a soft smile. "It's in the other room, if you want to open it now."

Harper wrapped her arms around her boyfriend's neck as she kissed him back. A smile was on her lips as she kissed him and deepened the kiss as she slipped her tongue into his mouth. After a while, he pulled away from her and she just smiled at him. But then she knitted her eyebrows together when he mentioned something about a present. "But why do you..." Then it hit her. Christmas. Her eyes widened, her pulse raced, and she started to sweat a bit. "You really didn't have to get me anything, Xenos," she quickly said to him. "Because..." She pressed her lips together, blushed hard, and looked sheepishly at him. "I forgot about Christmas and didn't get you anything..."

Xenos tried to hide a smirk at Harper's blush as she told him that she had forgotten about Christmas and hadn't gotten him anything for it. "Oh well, I'm okay with what I already got today for Christmas, but I still want to give this to you." He told her with a smile before grabbing her waist and lifting her off of his lap. "Come on. It won't take that long. Besides if you really feel that badly about it, you can always make it up to me later on." The son of the night tells her with a smirk.

Harper smiled sheepishly at her boyfriend as he tried to convince her that it was okay that she didn't have a present for him on Christmas. How could she forget one of the biggest holidays of the year? But it didn't help that she lost track of the date and time since she left camp. "I will make it up to you," she said as she nodded her head eagerly. She would have to figure something out, but she had a slight idea. She looked at her boyfriend before she blushed a little bit more before saying. "Okay, let's go." Then she waited for him to lead her into the other room before she followed him.
