Kenji looked at the dummy in front him, his hands at his side. He was wearing a weird get up for a demi god, but it worked well for him. He had on his metal gloves, designed to block blades and increase the power of his punches and his nerve attacks. He had on his combat shoes, which were a lot like normal fighting shoes but coated in bronze to again, block. He had on very light armor, and some weights on his body. Kenji closed his eyes, concentrating and got into his attack stance.
A second later, his right foot lashed out, kicked the Dummy's ankles with enough force to break them, then followed up with a left handed back hand with the spin he made. With it, he quickly continues the attack with his fight fist, making contact with the dummy's face, knocking it back and popping some stitches. His attackes grew quicker and quicker, his fingers flashing out till his hands were starting to blur a little as he pushed himself to go faster and faster, hitting where the nerves would have been on a person. Hit a weak spot in an armor here, cut the straps there, knock out the feeling in his arm here, and so on. This attack went of for about 2 minutes before his arms gave out from the stress on the muscles.
Kenji let his arms hang by his side, breathing hard as he looked the dummy over. It's stitching had popped in many places, the dummy was in pieces and his armor piercing shots had cut the leather straps and left it naked. Kenji smirked a little, happy that he had gotten a little stronger at least. Kenji flexed his fingers, feeling the soreness there and nodded. His record was 2 minutes and 15 seconds of continues strikes and full out attacks before his arms gave out. He was running slow this time. He sighed, pulling his right arm up and nursing his left upper arm, thinking," Damn. Kurtis did give me a work out yesterday. I can't throw him around so much anymore," he thought, smirking and stopped his nursing. Kenji exhaled, inhaling and holding his breath, looking at the dummy again. He was looking at the neck and lashed out, his hand peircing the stitching and going into his neck.

Emma was frequenting the arena more so than she usually did. She needed to train. She wanted to be tougher. After that encounter with Gideon, she wanted so badly to be strong enough to rip out his guts for taking her hostage during that trap during the masquerade. The next time they ran into each other, she wasn't going to be the weak pacifist that she normally was. He better hope that his spleen was still intact once she was done with him.
So she entered the arena with her dagger strapped onto her ankle and a sword in a hostler by her side. She was learning how to use swords, since daggers required to be up close and personal with the enemy. However, when it came to Gideon, she might have gotten up close and personal to him.
However, once she entered the arena, she saw that she wasn't alone. Her brother was there and he was doing a number on one of the dummies. Emma leaned against the wall as she watched him. The former pacifist was admiring the grace he had while he practically disemboweled a body. She pushed herself off the wall before she asked him, "What did that dummy do to you to get that kind of punishment?"

Kenji removed his hand from the dummy, his hand full of straw. It was a cruel move that in any fight would be seen as an illegal move. It was supposed to ripe someone's throat out. Very, not approved hero fighting style. But, Kenji already knew he would never be a hero. "Hero's are someone that will share their victory with others. A hero will risk their neck for someone. I'm not that someone." Kenji smirked a tiny bit and let the straw fall from his hands.
When he heard his sister speak, he turned to her, and gave a rare smile of his. Only his siblings could get a positive emotion from him. "It beat my brother up. It had to die." They were, also, the only ones that saw his sense of humor, as small as it was. He gave a chuckle and then restated," I was just training. You know my fighting style. I fight to win. No restrictions, no mercy." It was his motto when he fought. Kenji bent his knees for a second, then jumped and spun, his kick lashing out and taking the head of the dummy clean off. The thing was supposed to be as strong as a mortal's neck. Kenji landed, his back towards his sister with a small smirk to his face. He had watched Bruce Lee's movies and other MMA tortaments. With his power of his photographic reflexes, that was just.......very good. Kenji didn't like to rub that or tell that part off.
"Besides, I need to keep sharp since someone isn't," Kenji said, and narrowed his eyes and focused, listening. He could almost hear his brother flirting with someone in the camp. He needed to talk to a few people on getting the boy chipped if needed. "Why you here. It isn't Athena's time in the arena yet. Here for some extra training to?" His cabin usually took the mornings, yet it was around noon right now.

"That dummy beat up Kurtis?" Emma said with a bit of a smirk as she pointed to the dummy in question. "That really doesn't surprise me." She knew about the relationship between the twins, but she found it so odd. They weren't biological twins, but they were born at the same time, but had different mothers. But from what she could tell, Kenji was the fighter while Kurtis was the lover.
She winced a bit as she saw her brother do the roundhouse kick to knock the head right off the dummy. Deep inside her, she was still a pacifist even if she was trying to suppress it as much as possible. She was trying to suppress the urge to puke when Kenji asked why she was here. "Yeah," she said as she nodded her head. "I'm here to train extra..." She took a deep breath as she looked at him. "I want to be tougher. I need to train."

Kenji nodded, looking at her trying to resist the urge to puke. Maybe he over did it there, but still, she needed to get over that fact. They were at camp half blood. People died. The only way to stay alive was being badder then what was out there. "Yeah, My brother is kind of sad in the fighting department unless their is a female involved. It's pathetic." He just chuckled though, and tightened his bronze gloves on his hands again.
"If you want to get tougher, there are better ways then killing something. Sometimes you need to be tougher not to hurt someone. Come here," He said, and pointed at the dummy. "What is your prefered weapon?" He asked. He knew she was a pacifist before camp. That wasn't gonna last long here.

Emma took deep breaths as she tried to combat the rising sensation in her stomach. She glanced over at her brother and smirked a bit when he talked about Kurtis. "Quite the ladies man, isn't he?" she laughed a bit before she shook her head. But enough talking about the Aphrodite boy. Emma came to the arena for a reason.
Emma walked closer to her brother as he pointed to a dummy. She took a deep breath before she reached down to take the dagger out of her ankle holster. "I usually use this," she said as she held out the dagger to him. The only reason why she picked such a short-range weapon in the first place was the fact there was pegasi carved into the handle of her blade. "I'm also trying to learn how to fight with a sword." She put her free hand on the hilt as she looked at her fellow cabinmate to see what he had up his sleeves.

"Lets not even go there," he said about his brother. He didn't want to think about that in the sense that Emma was like a step sister to him, and if Kurtis ever got over that then Emma would likely be flirted with. Kenji was looking for the day that Jessi would get back with him and his focus was narrowed again. "A dagger huh?" he said, and picked it up from her hand. He looked at it, then spun it around his hand (Like So. Go to 2:00 minutes in). Kenji learned the move from watching the same movie that the link was from. Having a photogenic muscle memory was over Kill when you could watch bruce lee movies and do what he does. "It's a good balance to it, but I don't think with your fighting style it would suit you. Have you ever tried a quarter staff?" he asked, looking at her. He shook his head, saying," I don't think a sword would do you much good. Yes, the sword is better for killing, but you need a weapon that suits you, be it greek or not." he handed her back her blade and said," One second." He started walked over to the small tool shed and pulled one of the larger brooms out, and he unscrewed the broom part of it, leaving just the smooth wooden handle. As he walked back over, Kenji flicked his hand and attacked a dummy as he walked past it. Only he was facing away from it and the dummy's head now was hanging at an angel that said someone wasn't getting up. "It's a highly underrated weapon, it's a great defencive weapon and good if you want to win the fight with out killing them. Against monsters it's also good as it can let you defend against them, and if you have one from the Hepheastus cabin, they can easily make one that can turn into a spear so you can send the monster to hades. Though, I don't discourage the learning of a sword, just learn a weapon that you can play to your strengths." Kenji gave a tiny smirk there. He wasn't the smartest kid in his cabin when it came to crafts(He held his own though) but for a fight, he was one of the best. Everyone had their strengths. His was his hand to hand combat and battle strategy. Kurtis was his.....Diplomacy. Emma's he didn't know yet, but everyone one had them. Just liked everyone had their weaknesses.

Emma felt a pang in her chest as Kenji took the dagger away from her and spun it in his hands. She trusted her brother, but she wasn't sure if he was going to hurt her weapon or not. It was a pretty strong blade, but considering she bent it a few months back with a dictionary, she wasn't taking any chances. But Kenji mentioned something about a quarter staff and Emma looked at her half-brother blankly. The genius never read books about weapons and even know she didn't read much because she was too busy training. She was trying to figure out what to say to him when he handed her back her dagger and went to the tool shed.
He took apart a broom and walked back to her, but without decapitating a dummy first. Emma had to suppress a gag when she saw the angle the dummy's head was at. After a couple of deep breaths, Emma turned her attention to her brother as he talked about the weapon he had in his hands. "Huh..." she said softly as she reached out to skim her fingers across the wood. "Maybe learning this for now would be better," she said as she glanced up at him and gave him a small smirk.

Kenji noticed that she was trying not to gag and had to remember that not many people had the same morals about ending life as him. In every situation that said Him and Kurtis or them, it was an easy situation. He would end them with out mercy. Mercy was for People who valued honor in a fight. Honor just got you killed. A fight was to win. "You don't need to worry about doing that," he Soothed out, trying to calm her down a little. He jerked a thumb over his shoulder, indicating the head tilting at the awkward angle." Your enemies aren't gonna have necks made of weak straw. They will be trying to kill you."
Kenji tilted his head at one of the dummy's, saying," With a quarterstaff, your best strength if that fact that you can have the flexibility that no swords can have. Strike with both ends or even just just the middle. You ever watch TMNT? Think Donatello, the purple turtle." he smirked, knowing that it was Kurtis' secret child hood cartoon. "Plus, it's really hard to kill someone with that, but easy to knock them out and block attacks. Good combo with it is throwing knives as they are quick to use. Give a few spins. I'll go grab another." Kenji smirked, flexing his metal gloves a little as he turned, heading to the broom closet again. Good thing they kept them handy here.
Kenji grabbed a slightly thicker one, unscrewing the broom part of it and spun it in his hands, showing that he had some skills with it. He let a small sign of pleasure show as he knew how to use it. He trotted back over slowly, Taking an attack stance. "attack me," He commanded.
