Post by Accalia Phillips on Jul 10, 2013 19:41:13 GMT -5
Accalia didn't spend much of her time on the beach, but her dog, Frederick, was getting sickeningly restless being locked up in the cabin or at the arena, and she knew that she had to take him out. As Frederick ran around on the Oceans edge, beaming at her every now and then, Accalia felt her feet twitching. She had recently seen Harper on her last visit, right before Jacob left, and it got her to thinking. What was Accalia doing at camp? Why wasn't she out there living life, like her most beloved sister? Accalia found it hard to concentrate. Jacob, Jacob, Jacob. He was long gone and Accalia wasn't even sure the relationship was even there at the end. He was so worried about his poor suffering puppy and his suffering cabin members that she became a mere shoulder, and occasionally a serious/romantic moment would flutter but they didn't last long. She clenched her fists. Enough about that.

The sun was in the most prime position right now. It was high in the sky and right over camp. John decided to skip his session in the arena as he opted to go to the beach instead. John didn't believe that he needed to learn how to fight. He was a model, for gods' sake and he had bodyguards when he wasn't in camp. Bodyguards could take down a monster, right? Whatever, he didn't care. All he cared about at that moment was getting a tan.
So he walked down to the beach in his swim trunks with a towel slung over his shoulder. He had his aviators on as he walked onto the sand and saw he wasn't alone. There was a dog on the beach along with... "Accalia?" he called out to her. He smirked as he walked, no, strolled over to her. "Long time no see. What's up?"

Accalia flipped around to see a familiar but surprising face strutting towards her. "Oh my Gods, John?" She stood up quickly. Suddenly embarrassed about her dark green bikini that she adorned at that moment. He walked away from her black towel, used to attract the sun, and walked towards him slowly. So charming. So suave. So... John. She couldn't help but find him attractive. Even though he happily was with her sister for quite some time, she still knew that he was a good looking guy. Can't ignore that. This was possible her best opportunity in going numb-but no. She couldn't. "How are you?" She asked.

John smirked a bit as he saw Accalia get up from her towel and walked over to him. If he wasn't wearing his aviators at that moment, his eyes would have completely betrayed him as he checked her out. Gods, she got hotter than the last time he saw her around camp. He could give it up to Demeter for producing some beauties.
He stopped in front of her as he reached up to take his sunglasses off. "I'm doing pretty well," he said as he moved to place his sunglasses on top of his head. "I'm back from New York, so I'm just soaking up the camp life right now." He chuckled a bit as he shook his head. "What about you?"

As he took his sunglasses off Accalia kept her eyes firmly on his. Though his chest gleaming in the sun was tempting, she didn't want to get caught looking at it. She put her hands on her hips, "Well, well well, look at you settling down for a little while at least." She laughed, the bright green flower in her hair bloomed brilliantly, almost embarrassingly. She hadn't been laughing for a long time, and it felt great. "I'm doing fine thanks. Just running my dog around as usual." Almost on cue Frederick ran up to great them, stopping and turning to John in a sudden act of calm, then he ran forth to start sniffing the boy. "Don't mind him. He doesn't bite..." Accalia muttered.

John chuckled a bit as he took his towel from around his shoulders and dropped it down on the sand. "Yeah," he said with a bit of a smirk. "I'm sticking around a bit this time around. Modeling season is low since fashion week is over." He shrugged a bit as he tried to stop himself from from checking her out, but he let his eyes slightly wander over her top half. He couldn't help but smirk a bit. "Nice to see you're doing fine." But then he felt something nudge at his crotch and his eyes widen. "Whoah, boy," John said as he reached down to push the dog's nose away. "I don't get that friendly with dogs."

Accalia nodded slowly. Same old John, the model. Saying his cheesy model comments, and talking about fashion week. Accalia tried her best not to laugh out loud at him. "Well, i'm glad you're back. Your father must be happy that you are here, safe and sound." She said, with a sincere smile on her face. "Nice to see you're doing nice as well." She said as she started to lean down a little, bringing her gaze to where his face was. "Over here." She muttered awkwardly.
She laughed as he pushed Frederick away who started to run away in an opposite direction and she followed him with her gaze, turning back to John quickly. "I'm not going to say he isn't overly friendly..." She raised her eyebrows, not sure where to take the conversation next. She hadn't really talked to guys much, especially not guys like John.

John chuckled as he shook his head at her dad comment. "I wouldn't say he's that glad to see me." He smirked a bit. "I mean... He doesn't play favorites with the campers here... especially with his own children." John tried to make his eyes behave, but he could no longer resist but to check her out.
"Over-friendly is a bit of an understatement," he muttered as he watched the dog run in the opposite direction. It wasn't the fact that he didn't like getting up close and personal in that region, but the fact it was a dog that was bothering him. John wasn't a big fan of pets. "I could never own a pet," he mused to himself with a bit of a smirk.

She nodded, "Yeah. Well, he's probably just jealous that you get to party and he doesn't. It's not easy having kids. It's like having a younger and more beautiful attractive version of yourself, therefore becoming better than yourself." He put two fingers over her lips to silence herself and then pulled them away, "Sorry, going on too much." She caught his eyes as they stared in inappropriate places and laughed. Typical John.
"Why not?" She asked with a raised eyebrow, "I love dogs. They're better than people for the most part." She shrugged. It was true. People cold be deceitful and boring. But not pets.

John chuckled as he shook Accalia rambled on about why his father didn't play favorites with the campers. He knew how Dionysus played his game around camp and he knew why he was chosen to have the same curse as his father. He chuckled to himself as he watched her quiet herself. He thought it was very cute and it paired well how well she looked in that bikini.
He laughed when Accalia asked why he didn't want a pet. "I couldn't take care of them." He shook his head as he tore his eyes away from her to look at the dog. "Especially I'm never in one place for too long, you know?" He shrugged his shoulders. "I don't think that's good to have a pet, you know? Unless it was a rock."

(Not sure if we wanted to keep this up or what is going on with John now. IF you don't want to continue lemme know)
Frederick had ran off in some random direction but Accalia knew he'd be fine. He probably found somewhere better to go. She felt a slight pang in her chest when she thought of Jacob, her ex, and his little puppy that Fred loved so much. Accalia looked back to John and nodded, "Understandable. I guess i'm just as loyal as Frederick is, so I can handle him." She didn't mean to sound proud but then again, if she did, she didn't care. She was proud to have her dog beside her.
She laughed, "No one keeps a rock as a pet, John." She picked up her towel and wrapped it around herself. She wondered what Dawn would think of her talking to John in her bikini. But Dawn wasn't around anymore. Neither was Harper. Accalia was losing everyone she first started loving here. She needed to unwind. She needed to relax.
She needed a fling.

(I say we keep this up while I still have muse XD)
John couldn't help but smirk a little bit when Accalia told him that rocks were not legitimate pets. "Well, I would have to keep one as a pet, since that I can't take care of normal pets... I swear most of them are trying to kill me anyway. Especially the pegasus and hippocampi. You cannot trust them."
He tried not to have his smile fall off his face when Accalia wrapped herself up in her towel, blocking his view of her beautiful bikini body. That's when his mind was made up for him. He shrugged his shoulders a little bit as he looked up at her and cocked an eyebrow while tilting his head slightly. "So... want to get out of here... do something fun?" He extended a hand to her, wondering if she would take him up on his offer.

"Well, as long as it's a cute rock I guess I won't judge you too harshly for it." She smiled and laughed. John was always so charming and yet he always was so caught up in himself. Dawn said there was more to him than that. But Dawn was gone now, there was no way Accalia could go to her for advice. Dawn was gone. Accalia realized that mean John was sort of fair game now. She hated herself immediately for thinking that and apologized to her half sister in her head.
Accalia saw a slight drop in his smile when she got wrapped up. She didn't know how that made her feel. She didn't know how anything made her feel, really. She listened to his words carefully and took his hand lightly at first. Then she had made up her mind as well. She needed to be unnerved. She needed to be taken on an adventure. She nodded, "Whatever do you have in mind?" She asked, innocently... sort of.

John raised his eyebrows as he thought of a response to her question. Of course, his mind went to the dirtiest thing possible. As far as he knew, Accalia was pure and innocent like the flowers that usually grew in her hair.
"Ah, you know," he gave a shrug as a cocky smirk grew on his face. "We can hang up and stuff... do some fun stuff..." A mischievous twinkle was in his eye as she finally gripped his hand and he held it tight, just in case she changed her mind and tried to get away. "I was thinking... maybe around the arts cabin or something.. maybe the amphitheater?" He winked at her when he eluded about the time they danced during that party the Aphrodites held.

She rolled her eyes. "Ha. Ha. That was the first time I had met you." She shrugged as he started spit balling ideas. She knew what kind of activities he was implying. She gulped. She had only liked two guys. A shy son of Aphrodite and a blind worrier. She had never even spent more than twenty minutes with someone like John. A... slore of sort sorts. She heard a rustling in the trees behind her and flipped around to see her dog. He wasn't stupid. He knew he was no longer invited to the party. Part of her wanted to call him over. She could use a distraction. But before she had the chance Frederick barked a farewell and sped off into the trees. She was entirely alone with him now. There was no turning back. Plus, he was holding her hand fairly tight. "Take me wherever you want." She gulped.
