"She said she was fairly new... but she nodded when I mentioned that I had a cabin leader named 'Daphne'. I dunno." He shook his head. Girls remembered everything. He just remembered wanting to get his stuff set up. Now he felt like a total jerk for forgetting every detail about the girl who had helped him. No matter, he would find her at dinner and say thanks. OR something. If he could even eat after this ordeal with Daphne.
Jareth turned back to her and smiled before pressing the 'start' button. Soon they were back in the game. He assembled his armies, sharpened his sword and began charging on the Zeus camp, which Daphne controlled. He smirked at her and raised an eyebrow, "Let's see how your offense is."

Daphne couldn't help but smirk a bit when Jareth still couldn't come up with the girl's name. "It's probably one of those 'if I'll see her again, I'll know it,' kind of things, right?" She was acting like it was cool, but was it? Her heart pounded a litter harder as she felt a bit a hatred towards that Athena girl. Then again, what power did she have over it? Jareth was her brother after all and she was seeing Marius.
As soon as the map loaded, things just seemed to come back to Daphne pretty quickly. She built up her army and made sure their weapons were top notch before making sure her camp had the best defenses possible. She glanced up to the corner of the screen in the middle of building something when she saw his troops marching down to her camp. A small smirk crept onto her face as she abandoned what she was doing. "Let's see how well you take to getting your butt kicked," she chuckled as she got her troops in position for the attack.
(So... if this is a real game they're playing, I have no clue what I'm doing xD please excuse anything that doesn't make sense.)

(yea, thats no big deal it's actually not a two player game in real life so I don't care. "Yeah, it's like that... only I probably won't actually remember it. Which is okay though, I'm not making it a major point to see her again," he smiled. She was being really nice, acting like this was all okay. And brave. He was about ready to scream and jump out the window yelling, "SOMEBODY ELSE CLAIM ME, PLEAEEEAAAAASE!" But, he decided that probably wouldn't be wise. And Zeus probably really would kill him that time. That'd be one step too far. The thought made him chuckle allowed, dad was so grumpy. Jareth shook his head, "Butt kicking, huh? Just wait until your camp is obliterated! Such is my plan." He tried his best to surround her camp but she killed many of his men along the way, he had barely formed a half circle when he finally decided to send the flying eagles in to attack.

Daphne was rapidly hitting buttons on her controller as she tried to fend off his men. She was making a good job of it too, but she was finding it hard to fend off his troops while trying to replenish hers. Her eyes glanced up to the top of the screen as her eyes widen. "Not the eagles," she muttered underneath her breath as she tried to get the archers ready. But, of course, that was one flaw of Daphne's plan. She associated archers with Apollo and she didn't want any association with him, especially with the "help" he decided to provide during the quest.
"Gods dammit," she cursed as one of the eagles decided to swoop down and carry away one of her best swordsman. "I guess I'm really rusty, am I?" The situation was looking grim as she glanced over at Jareth's camp. It was doing a lot better than hers was. Daphne then decided that desperate times called for desperate measures.
She reached over and tried to grab Jareth's controller in order to sabotage his plan. If anything, she'd try to press random buttons trying to throw his army into chaos.

Jareth smiled widely as he was winning. The Eagles were a great asset, considering her archery squad was weak. He was definitely going to squash her this time. "Yup, Rusty like an old tractor." He laughed allowed as she started to struggle more and more. Suddenly he realized her arm was reaching down to him trying to grab his controller, "Woah, woah!" He said leaning farther and farther until he was practically laying on the ground. Daphne was reaching so far that she fell towards him and he tossed his controller aside.
Jareth grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her down from the bed until she was on the floor next to him. He then proceeded to flip over until he had her pinned to the ground, "nice try, Blondie." He smirked.
(I know I controlled the situation a little too much, I hope it's okay.)

Daphne thought her plan was full-proof. Just a couple of random button hits and she'd be able to regain control over the battle. What she didn't account for was Jareth actually catching her in the act and leaning away from her grabbing hand. She was leaning so far off of the bed that she actually fell onto Jareth, who decided to take her cheating into his own hands. Before she knew it she was pinned underneath him.
"Hey!" she squealed as she squirmed underneath him. "Lemme go!" She stopped squirming for a moment to realize what situation she was in. She was underneath a boy she had a huge crush on years ago who suddenly became her brother. "Oh... umm..." She muttered as her face heated up while she pressed her lips and glanced away. "I guess I can't cheat around you..." she muttered underneath her breath.
(Perfectly okay. I was aiming for something like this to happen ;D)

Jareths smile disappeared off his face as the tension in creased and she looked away, "Oh... yeah. About that." He didn't move. He tried, he really did. He loosened his grip on her wrists a little, but not enough to let her escape. "No. No, this is stupid. We should be able to act normal right? Like friends. Like really good...friends." He sighed and lifted a hand to turn her face towards his, "I guess it is a little different now. Not being a pre-teen anymore. And being, you know... blood or something." He sighed again as he rolled to one side, laying on the ground next to her.
"This shouldn't be so hard." He whined.

Things were getting awkward for Daphne. She wished that it could be old times, but it couldn't, not when Jareth was still her brother. That was something that she could change back to normal. She noticed him loosen his grip on her wrists and she squirmed a bit, but not enough to get her free. All she wanted was an escape from this awkward situation.
An escape that she wasn't going to get. “No, you’re right,” she muttered underneath her breath as he moved her face so she looked up at him into his gorgeous… Daphne shook off the thought as she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. “We were friends before and it wasn't so hard, right? Why can’t it be like it now?” He rolled off of her as she took a deep breath as she sat up and cradled her face into her hands. “Why do the gods have to hate us?” she muttered into them.

When Daphne turned to make eye contact with him again, Jareth had to catch his breath. That was not a good idea. To make eye contact. That's when he noticed it. They're eyes weren't so different from one anothers, a...family trait, he guessed. He shook his head, "you're right. It should be easy to be friends. But we weren't just friends Daph." He said, serious. He wasn't sure what to make of her sitting up and putting her head in her hands. Was she crying? Was she laughing?
Then, when she spoke, he knew she wasn't doing either. She was... angry, somewhat, it seemed. Jareth reached a hand out as if he was going to pat her back, but took it back. He lay on the ground and placed one hand on his forehead, a permanent face palm. "I don't think it's about hate so much as it is about carelessness. They could've said something back when we were spending all that time together," he growled after that last part.

"But we weren't just friends, Daph." That one sentence just made Daphne want to cry into her hands. Life wasn't fair and boys always seemed to mess up her life. Dante, Achilles, Zeus. It didn't matter. They all messed it up and left her in the aftermath. She'd rather be facing a bull at that moment instead of having this conversation.
"There's just a problem with that," she said as she slowly pulled her face away from her hands and looked at Jareth. "Zeus didn't claim me until after my accident when you knew all along. We'd probably figure it out if my mom didn't kick me out of the house and I found myself here. This just... sucks."

He nodded, "that's true, I knew for a long time. But why didn't he claim you? What was going on?" He asked, sitting up. He slowly and reluctantly placed a hand on her shoulder. He took a deep breath through his nose and let it all out through his lips before speaking again. "I'm... sorry. About your mom. I had no idea what happened..."
The two had parted ways a little while before her mom had kicked her out, he was sure. Jareth and his family moved, making it difficult to see each other as often. He had no idea she had been kicked out. He shook his head, "why, if I may ask, did she kick you out? She always seemed so... I dunno, happy to have you around."

“I think he had his reasons for not claiming me,” Daphne muttered as she pushed her hair out of her face as her eyes closed slightly. She took deep breaths as she tried not to let the memories of times spent with her mother to get to her. “Knowing my mother, she didn't want anybody to know what happened to me… probably said I ran away or she sent me to boarding school… I can see her doing that…”
She pressed her lips together as Jareth asked what happened between her and her mother. She turned her head slowly to look at him before she spoke, “She kicked me out because I wasn't a child of Apollo. Dad seduced my mom under the disguise of Apollo…” She chuckled a bit as she shook her head. “She should’ve known better, since I act nothing like one… but dad had to claim me after that accident since my flying powers were what saved me. Once she found out that it was a lie… she kicked me out and I went to camp. Plain and simple.”

Jareth shook his head in disbelief even more when Daphne continued to speak about her relationship with her parents. He sighed, "I should have told you I was a Demi God sooner, we could have at least known we had that in common..." he frowned and sighed again, "whatever reason Dad had for not claiming you, it was stupid." He said firmly. He knew that would upset Zeus and thunder rumbled even louder in the main room of the cabin, probably preparing to strike Jareth once he stepped out the door. But the statement was true, and worth saying to show Daphne he was on her side.
Jareth dropped his jaw. He felt a chuckle startling to bubble up in his throat, "Gods, Daphne," he let the laugh out and ruffled his hands through his hair, "is our father that self conscious that he has to pretend to be Apollo?" Another loud rumble of thunder, and a lightening bolt zipped straight through the wall, blasting Jareth to his back.
He sat up quickly after a moment and shook it off. Dad sure liked doing that.

"My mom was... is obsessed with Apollo," Daphne said as she looked over at Jareth. "She wouldn't do a one-night stand and kept the baby if it wasn't Apollo. Hades, my name is about as Apollo-obsessed as you get. Daphne Dianna? Yeah..." She shook her head as she took a couple of deep breaths. "I guess, in a way, him delaying claiming me was to protect me... I have no clue." Daphne was finally relieved that she could actually talk to someone about her mother. Someone who actually knew the woman. She didn't talk about it to anyone in the camp, since that was an entire ordeal she didn't want to go through.
The moment seemed okay for the moment, until that bolt of lightning come out of the ceiling and struck Jareth. "DAD!" she shrieked as she looked up at the ceiling and glared at it. "SO NOT CALLED FOR!" Then she looked over at her brother and hesitantly reached out to him. "Are... you okay?"

Jareth couldn't imagine why anyone would be obsessed with Apollo. He was a good looking guy, sure, and a great archer. But did he really do anything besides drives his chariot around in the sky? Well, everyone had their things. Their fetishes, that must have been Ms. Scotts thing. Sun Gods who fly around and shoot arrows. "Daphne Dianna... ya, I get it," he shook his head. He founded it to be rather two faced that the woman could only have a one night stand and keep the baby with a particular person. That didn't sound like she really loved the baby at all. The thought made Jareths stomach lurch.
He reached forward and placed a hand on her knee momentarily, "he must have been worried that she'd kick you out when she found out you weren't Apollos. That sounds like protection to me," he fond himself scoffing, "but why on earth he just had to have your mom, I don't know. Gods are weird like that." He didn't mean to sound like he was insulting her mom, but no woman really seemed worth disguising as someone else to get with them. That was just plain weird. He moved his hand from her knee quickly when he looked down to remember that it was placed there.
He was grateful, that Daphne yelled at their father when he blasted Jareth. He reached out and took her hand, allowing her to help him up a little more. "M'good," he said with a sigh and a smirk, "we have this running joke. It's like 'how many lightening bolts does it take to kill a son of Zeus?" he laughed.
