Jordan smoothed out her khakis before she perched herself on the edge of the porch of the Athena cabin. Today was just a nice day outside and she wanted to savor practically every minute of it. She kicked her slip on shoes off and stretched her legs out as she let the sun warm them up. She placed the book she brought outside with her on her lap and opened it up. The page, like the others, were perfectly highlighted and underlined with neat little notes in the margins. It was a textbook about the rise and fall of Nazi Germany. There were many like this in the Athena cabin, but this happened to be Jordan's choice of the moment.
Her manicured finger traced the sentences as she reread about Hitler's reign. She muttered underneath her breath a slew of unladylike things as she noticed someone else has written in the book. "That's not true at all," she said as she looked up as she tried to find something nearby that would erase it without her going inside.

Zeodyme wondered slowly away from the Hermes cabin, writing frantically into a notebook. His fingers flying across the page as he finally got around to writing up a proposal to Chiron about letting him set up a computer in the cabin. He wanted to try this, "streaming games" he had read up on while learning about the modern world. He continued his speed writing as he slowly traveled past the Athena cabin. He looked up for a moment to find a rather cute blonde girl looking around for something. Pausing for a moment he pointed at her with his pencil and called out to her, "Hello there! What are you looking for? Perhaps I could be of some assistance?" He slowly approached her waiting for a yes or no.

Jordan pouted a bit as she realized that she would possibly have to move from her spot, put her shoes back on, and go inside her cabin to grab an eraser because somebody happened to write a completely nonfactual statement about the state of Hitler's underwear. "This is an outrage," she muttered underneath her breath as she looked back down at her book. "Some kid will read this and think it's true... He never wore polka dots... or purple for that matter."
She jerked her head up when she heard someone call out to her and her eyes widened when she saw what the boy had in his hand. "That," she said urgently as she pointed to the pencil. "I need that now. Please. It's an emergency."

Zeodyme looks down at the pencil in his hand and a mischievous grin makes it's way onto his face. He looked up at the girl who was reaching out to him in an almost desperate manner. He waved the pencil in front of him, "Oh this? I don't know, I'm using it at the moment. It's helping me beat Chiron with some logic right now. I'll be done in like maybe a few hours. I could let you borrow it then. Unless you have a way to persuade me?" Zeo felt his smirk grow larger and he gave himself a mental pat on the back. He liked messing with people. He walked even closer to the girl, keeping just out of her range with the pencil so she just barely couldn't grab it. He waved it around a bit more.

The solution was right there in front of her. It was only a matter of mere seconds before the facts about Hitler's underwear would be correct again. But no. The boy thought it was a good time to tease her as he waved the pencil in front of her. Her eyes narrowed as she sat up a little straighter. "I don't think you understand," she said as she pointed down to the book to the offending note in question. "This is something that needs to be corrected now. If not, the world as we know it will tumble into great darkness. Give me the pencil now or else." She was going to threatened him some more, but something he said caught her attention. "You're trying to beat Chiron with logic? That's the easiest thing to do, you know. He's old, but not really that bright."

Zeo watched her straighten up in her seat before he laughed at what she said. He was pretty sure that no matter what was written down in that book of hers, the world wasn't going to, as she said, "tumble into great darkness." He was actually pretty sure the world would continue spinning just fine. "Hmmm, something tells me that even if you don't fix that, we'll be just fine. It can't be all that important." Here she shrugged his shoulders, "But then again what would I know, I'm just a random guy passing by. Here." He slowly handed the pencil over to the beautiful young woman, "We'll just say you owe me a date and call it even, sound fair?" He grinned his cheeky grin here and gave a thoughtful pause to think on an answer to her next statement. "Well the current problem with that is that I have no logic for this, I just enjoy it and would love if Chiron would let me do it. It could be a good way for me to make money for camp. I suppose that could be my logic." He shrugged his shoulders again here and waited to get his pencil back.

"You don't understand," Jordan quipped back at the boy as she reached out to grab the pencil. "Someone wrote that Hitler wore purple polka dot boxers, which is completely untrue. If some young camper reads it and thinks it's true, no telling what kind of damage it would do. Just give me the pencil." She was about to swipe the pencil from his hand before he proposed a date and her hand froze. She inwardly groaned as a debate raged within her. "The balance of the world is at stake and you want a date? You're quite despicable. Just give me the pencil."
She rolled her eyes as he mentioned he had barely any logic for what he was going to use against Chiron. "What are you planning to do anyway?" she snorted. "Con girls into dates in order to get a pencil from you?"

Zeodyme doubled over in laughter as she said what was so important for her to fix. He laughed his strange dolphin like laugh and had his hands on his knees. "Oh gods above, that sounds like something one of my brothers would write. I only wish I had beat them to it. Phew." He straightened up and fixed his black tank top. He gently pushed the pencil into her hand. "For that wonderful laugh, you can use the pencil as you need it beautiful. My name is Zeodyme by the way, son of Hermes. I haven't really seen you around before."
He gave a small snicker at what she thought he was trying to convince Chiron to let him do. He smiled at her and explained his idea, "No, I want to try this "streaming" thing I've heard a bit about. I'm quite good at playing video games and I think I could do very well in this industry. I could make some money for the camp and get to go to exciting places to see people and have fun." He rolled his arms back a bit at this, he still wasn't sure if he could get Chiron on board, but he was going to try his hardest.

Jordan jumped back a bit as a high pitch dolphin-like sound that was supposed to be laughter came from the boy. She widened her eyes a little bit as she wondered to herself what kind of situation she got herself into. "Your brothers?" she huffed as she rolled her eyes. "Now I know who to kill for this horrible addition to the book. I'm just glad I caught it in time." The pencil was finally in her hand and she feverishly went to work getting rid of that damn comment. "Jordan. Athena." she said as she worked on the comment before she looked up at Zeodyme. "But most people call me JJ. And I've been around, but I've never been in need of your pencil services," she said as she handed it back to him.
"Stream video games?" she asked skeptically as she raised an eyebrow at him. "Well... if you want logic, I guess you can say that it would provide income when the strawberries are out of season or being grown and it would help with the income when we were selling strawberries." She shrugged a bit. "But you'd have to figure out a way around the 'technology attracts monsters' bit."

Leon smiled at her as she jumped back a little at his laugh, most people were quite taken aback when they heard it for the first time. His smile grew into a smirk when he heard her wish to bring pain to his siblings for their prank on the Athena cabin. He didn't care one way or the other if Hitler wore purple polka dotted boxers or neon pink ones, he thought it was a good laugh regardless. "It is a pleasure to meet you Ms. JJ. I'm glad you could grace me with your presence." He gave her an overly dramatic bow that brought him close to her bare feet, that he only just noticed. He blushed a little bit as he had always found a strange attraction to women's feet but quickly suppressed it and accepted his pencil back. He nodded as he listened to her before thinking a bit about that last problem. "I think with help from the Hephaestus cabin I may be able to get around the technology problem. Besides it's mostly dangerous if we're outside of camp and the boundaries aren't protecting us." He nodded a bit but found himself glancing at her feet a little more then he should, he just hoped that she was too engrossed in her book to notice.

Jordan raised her eyebrows at Zeo as he bowed deeply at her feet. It was a little too dramatic for her liking, but she wasn't going to complain about it, especially since the little note about Hitler's boxers was erased from her book forever. She could rest easy at night knowing that Hitler wasn't going to ruin the world after his death because of his boxers. Jordan didn't notice that Zeo was a little flustered when he straightened up. She tilted her head to the side and listened to his response about his whole streaming situation.
"True," she said as she nodded slightly. "But there are also minor monsters that roam inside camp as well. I don't doubt that the Hephaestus kids can wrangle something up, but it's a matter of convincing Chiron. You need logic with him. You might need to barricade yourself in if you want to stream to make sure you're safe and you're not endangering anyone else."

He put a hand to his chin, thinking about the minor monsters found in the forest around camp. They would be attracted to his streaming. He scrunched his face up before remembering hearing something in passing one of his last times that he was trying to convince Chiron of the benefits of streaming. "The forest around here, it has several bunkers in it correct? If that's the case, do you think Chiron would let me use on to stream out of? The monsters would be attracted there instead of to my cabin, and since it's a bunker, it should be easy to fortify it. I remember one of the Hephaestus kids mentioning it in passing. Something about wanting to turn on into a garage." He nodded his head and quickly wrote that down on his notepad. He shifted a subtle glance at her feet quickly before continuing up to look her in the eyes. "Soooooooooo, what do you do for fun around here?"

Jordan pressed her lips together as Zeo mentioned something about the bunkers. "I guess those would do," she said after a couple of moments as she slowly nodded her head. "I can see it working. I just don't know where any of them are and I know a few of them have some rigged contraptions... or that's what I hear around camp." She tried to think about it some more, but Zeo suddenly turned the conversation on her.
She raised both of her eyebrows at him before she said, "I like to read and draft. If I want to get my exercise, I try to find a decent place to play some tennis. Usually the backside of the Big House is my preference."

Zeo jots down some more notes in his notepad, "Rigged contraptions, I'll need one of Hephaestus' kids to come with me then. They're pretty good with that stuff." He nodded to himself and then listened to her answer his question. He liked this girl so far, she was smart, athletic, cute, and had cute pair of peds.
Zeo found himself sighing dramatically, "Smart, cute, and athletic. You're everything I've been looking for in a woman, marry me?" He got down on one knee with his head bowed, holding up an imaginary ring box. He then teleported right beside her in that exact position.

"Hephaestus kids and some weapons," Jordan added as she notice Zeodyme writing more stuff down. "I'v heard they found a dragon in one of them before. There is no telling what you'd find in there. Better to be prepared than dead."
Jordan raised her eyebrows at the boy in front of her as he basically declared his love for her and dropped down to one knee. "Oh, yes," she said gleefully as her words dripped in sarcasim. "I've been waiting for this day where a guy would propose to me after knowing each other for five minutes. It's a dream come true! Yes, I will marry you, Zeodyme." She looked over at him when he teleported next to her and knitted her eyebrows together as she looked where the imaginary ring box was. "Where the Hades is my ring?"
