Misunderstood

Xenos grinned as he watched the Hades girl walk through the forest, his left arm was in a sling, and the sun was going to rise soon. I have to do this quickly, if I want a chance to escape. Just in case things get hostile. "Well, well, well, if it isn't little miss Hades." He laughed, "now what would a pretty little thing like you be doing out here. Considering what I just did I'm surprised Chiron let anyone out of his sight." Xenos stepped out from behind the tree he was hiding behind.

Liliana needed time to think everything over. If the Minotaurs did that much damage in one run... The camp was history. She was history. Just a faded memory in the world of heroes. Nobody would care if she died, and she wanted to be so much more than what she was now, show the world she was more than just a daughter of Hades, more than just a mistake on his part. She hadn't even gone on a quest yet, and already monsters were breaking into the camp to destroy her? Well, her and the other campers, but none of them she cared about, now did she?
One footstep after the other, she headed through the forest, no particular place in mind. Suddenly, a laughing voice broke into her thoughts, it was cold and emotionless... Was it sad that it reminded her of her father? She turned on her heal, her eyebrow raised at the boy. "I have my ways of avoiding Chiron's rules." She narrowed her eyes and shadows cloaked her, transporting her behind the boy. "Don't you just love cliche moves?" She said into his ear, he hands on her hips. "What do you want, anyway?"

"Want? Well, that depends." His voice taking a dangerous edge. "All. On. You. On if you still want to feel like an outsider. If you ever want to be accepted. If you want to keep on being misunderstood. I know what it's like to be on the outside. I'm a demigod son of Nyx. A veritable one of a kind. I can show you what it means to have a place to be." He chuckled. "But it all depends on what you want, of course, and don't worry I won't pressure you. I mean do I look like I'm in any condition to force you to do anything?" He smiled at her. " I mean, don't you want to be accepted?"

Liliana drew in a breath and didn't let it out. This kid was playing a dangerous game with her, and she did not like it, it was worse than when that Raphael guy tried messing with her head by constantly trying to make her blush. His words sunk into her brain and the persuasive sentences did just what they intended to do; persuade her.
But it had holes, small bits out, things she disagreed with. "Nyx at least had recognition. Hades was forced into the Underworld without a choice, because of that everyone thinks he's evil. And apparently that applies to his children too." Her hands tightened into fists on her hips and her grey eyes crossed a scary shade of red, which she blinked away quickly.
She barely thought of what she was doing when she took a small step back, her voice weakening. "Well... Of course. But..." Her voice quavered and broke off.

"Aw come on Buttercup. Don't you want to play a little." Artemis said coming out of the darkness and leaning on a tree beside her. She looked over a xenos and nodded "Master said to make sure you don't...screw anything up." she said with a evil smile and turned back to Lilliana

"Aw come on Buttercup. Don't you want to play a little?"

Liliana's head quickly turned to the girl leaning on the tree and she took yet another step backwards, her eyes again flashing a bright red. "Well, it's not like I haven't ever thought- Why am I telling you this?!" Her fists clenched again and she looked at Xenos. "Is this your method? Corner a girl and force her into recruitment?" She snarled before taking a calming breath and blinking hard to get rid of the burning her eyes that was the red coloring. "What's the benefits?" She couldn't believe herself when she asked that. What was she doing?

"Aww. We made princess mad." Artemis chuckled and held out her hand, a orb of black energy showing up again. She glowed as it changed forms from fire, water, air, lighting, even a pure white energy, but then back to black. "this is the benefit. Unlimited power. And you will be with people like you. Misunderstood. People who were just pushed off as weak cause of their parents and looks. People who want revenge." She said and grew a evil smirk at the end. She pushed off the tree and stood in front of her "Everything you could ever hope for. Anything you have ever wanted." She said and glared her silver eyes into hers, then turned away and stood by Xenos "A Perfect world once we are done."

Yes, a perfect one. A world with Isabella. Xenos thought to himself. "Now, little princess, while Hades was forced into the underworld. Don't forget that it didn't start with fear. He was forced there, because he took an unfair gamble." He giggled. "But still is he not one of the ones who wronged you also? He tossed you out like a rag doll. Now do you see? The Olympians don't want friends or family. They want servants. Ones they can toss out once they get tired of them." Xenos glared at Liliana. "Now, don't you want to do something about that?"

She was contemplating joining, that's what she was doing, and when the girl showed her that freaky thing with the elements flashing in her palm she instantly knew what side she was on. She knew the camp wouldn't stand a chance, and she didn't care what her siblings thought of her when they figured it out. Not Ash, or Uriel or even the one she was closest to, Jayce. It wasn't like they cared for her anyway, nor even knew of what she'd been through. No one did, but at least the people on this knew side would have a good idea.
She looked right back into Artemis's eyes with her own, that odd red coloring back, but it didn't bother her now, if she was joining this so called "Dark Side" Than she might as well fit the part.

Liliana shot a red eyed glare at Xenos when he called her little princess. Princess she could deal with, but little? And then he dared speak about why her father had been banished to the Underworld. That crossed the line. "Are you really trying to get me to hate you?" She spoke these words before he even bothered to bring up how she was just thrown out of the Underworld and her guard crumbled. "How do you know about that?" She almost mumbled. "And, yes obviously I do want to do something about it." She blinked hard before she said her last, non traitorous-side words. "I'll join."

Artemis smirked at her, leaning back on the tree "Well the girl has a brain. Welcome to the winning side. Oh and if you betray us." she said and held out her hand, the black orb returning. She threw it and watch as a tree exploded. A instant fire was made but she didn't care "You won't live to see the second after." she said in a low growl to prove her point. She looked back at xenos and smiled "See you at hq." she said and snapped her fingers, vanishing into a black mist.

"This is so much trouble," Xenos used shadows to smother the fire. "Doesn't she realize that we don't want any undo attention until after we have finished recruiting?" Xenos reached his hand out towards Liliana. "Hurry up now. I need to take you to my siblings, and you can't shadow travel to a place you've never been to before. I need to take you there."

Completely ignoring Artemis, Liliana gave another stern glare at Xenos. "How. Did. You. Know. What my father did to me?" She said just as sternly as her glare, finishing the last part off quickly. She needed to know this. Did everyone know about it? Did one of her brothers betray her by looking into her diary and spouting every word off to others or something? She just felt she needed to know. With a glance at the forest and it's surroundings, Lili made a side note to not feel anything about this situation before taking the boy's had hesitantly, as she was sure, once her mind was clear, she would feel something. And she would hate herself. And nothing was worse than when a Hades child held a grudge against themselves if you've seen what it could do to just a Phobus child.

"I'm psychic." Xenos said with a grin. "Not really though. I just know more than people think. If you can find the right person then you can know anything." He chuckled. "And while I don't know everything, I know quite a lot. In this case, I asked someone who was there." He turned away from her. "It was my darling uncle." He turned back around, "now let's get going already. They might not of noticed the fire, but the nymphs will them about it."

Lili was about to curse her brothers when Xenos said it was his uncle. "Erebus?" She knitted her brows and then suddenly they went up and the coloring in her eyes went a dangerous, almost glowing, brilliant red. "He's the reason I was kicked out, wasn't he!" She yanked her hands away from Xenos', taking another deep breath, liked Persephone had sarcastically told her all those times ago. "I expected Zues and Persephone had hinted to it, but Erebus?" She swore under her breath. "That darkness god forever whispering things in your ear like... like darkness!" She crossed her arms, taking another deep breath, then she uncrossed her arms. "Sorry, sorry, over-reaction. It's just a... Touchy subject." She took his hands again. "Are we leaving or what?"

"No, not Erebus, but my other uncle, Tartarus." Xenos laughed. He extended his hand again. "Now, let's go. The others are on their way and I can't fight them just now."
