[The Clave]

It's summer 2016 and 16 year old Clary Fray is preparing for a summer of Java Jones, art classes and attending the few gigs that Simon's band has to offer. The summer she gets is very different as the latest two year renewal of her memory wipe is fading away and the Shadow World is coming out to play. How will the 'mundane' Clary find herself embroiled in this world that she's never known about? That's entirely up to you.



The Shadow World is full of whispers and rumours that Valentine Morgenstern, renegade Shadowhunter, is alive and well. Not only that but speculation is spreading that the cunning Nephilim is searching for one of the most revered treasures of the Shadowhunter world - the Mortal Cup. With it, he could create an army that would make his former Circle look like a group of mission-less fanatics.<p>



But the Clave are prepared. For years they have been summoning the second born of Shadowhunter families and training them especially as part of an Anti-Circle organization. If Valentine tries to recruit his old followers again, the Clave will be ready and this time the Circle would be fighting against their own children.



The Shadowhunter Academy has been unleashing more powerful and talented Shadowhunters since the dark days of the Uprising. Loyalty to the Clave is now more thickly embedded into a Shadowhunter's typical education.



In Downworld, the already deep veins of mistrust of the Nephilim are growing more and more potent each day especially among the immortal ones who remember best the worst days of Shadowhunters, even before Valentine. As trouble grows among Downworlders and Nephilim alike, the Fair Folk, the Night Children, the Moon Children and the Children of Lilith will have to decide where they stand in the fight between Valentine and the Council.



Because whatever happens, anything the Nephilim do will be in the name of the Clave.[/align]

- We are a slightly AU Mortal Instruments RP set at the beginning of City of Bones

- However we are leaving the plot completely open so aside from the threat of Valentine, whatever happens is completely up to us.

- Part of what makes us AU is the addition of characters to canon families such as: Jace's twin sister, Celine Herondale (who Hodge told Valentine was dead), Seraphina Morgenstern (bumping up Jonathan's age by one year) as well as an extra Lightwood child and more Penhallow children.

- The Shadowhunter Academy is very much active.
