Fin shook his head as Chey had asked what the whole thing with Mac was about back at the party. His answer was simple, "it was nothing." He was insanely relieved when she caught sight of his hand in hers and nodded, agreeing to go with him. He was so worried that he almost couldn't stand it. He knew he needed to detox her system and that she needed to get some sleep, but he didn't trust her to do that on her own. He led her back to his apartment, not releasing her hand and not saying anything the whole way.

Once there he opened the door and, finally, released her hand as they stepped inside. "You should sit down," he said, his voice clearly much more gentle then it had been back at the party. There was no reason to be angry anymore. She was here and safe and that was the most important thing.

Was it really nothing? Cheyenne didn't know, but she trusted that Fin would tell her if there was anything more to it. But the way that Mac acted, Cheyenne had to wonder just a little bit. It wasn't long before they left the party and they were heading back to their quarters. Fin kept quiet and Cheyenne kept looking over at him and smiling every so often. They were finally at his apartment She probably should have gone back to her place, but she wanted to spend more time with Finny as well.

She looked around the place as Fin let them in. She never been inside his place before, since he always preferred to meet her at her door. His apartment's decoration was just... just Fin. That was the best way she could describe it. Her apartment had all her karate belts and tiaras and trophies she won from her pageant days, but this suited Fin just fine. At the mention of sitting down, Cheyenne made her way over to his couch and perched herself on it.

"I thought boys were supposed to have messy places," she mused as she looked over at Fin and smiled. "But I guess all that discipline from karate must've stayed with you."

He was relieved that she sat down, crossing away from her toward the kitchen to get some glasses of water. He didn't really know that much about how to overcome a hangover, which he was regretting now. He might need that tomorrow. Anyway, at her words he shrugged, coming back to her with the water for him and one for her "You guessed right," he said with a nod. His place was mostly themed of browns and blacks, everything plain and in it's place. There was a painting on the wall of abstract flowers, but even the colors on that weren't too bright. He liked this simple.

"What about you? Is your placed disciplined as well?" he asked with a slight half smirk. He hadn't been in her place, either, just at her door.

Was her place disciplined as well? Cheyenne scrunched her eyebrows up as she thought for a moment. It was decorated with all her karate belts and the sashes and tiaras she had won from previous pageants. She did manage to contact her parents that she was okay after she arrived at camp and explained the best she could about her situation. They managed to forgive her to a point and they sent her all her various trophies that she had hung up in her current quarters.

"It's very shiny," Cheyenne said after a few moments of thought as she looked over at Fin and giggled a bit. "I guess it has to be shiny since it has all my tiaras in it and they don't skimp on the jewels. It might be slightly disciplined, but it's definitely shiny."

Shiny? That was a strange way to describe a room. Granted, she was a bit inebriated... but she went on to explain what she meant and he nodded, "oh, I see. Do you polish them, too?" he asked. He was glad they were getting to talking, so it could distract by how worried and upset he was. Sure, alcohol didn't kill people, but he didn't like the way it clouded your brain. He was all about focus, and if there was one thing that took that away, it was drinking.

He stepped around the couch with two glasses of water and sat beside her, handing her one. "Drink this," he said softly. "It'll make you feel better. Though, you do seem.... well, you're different when you're like this," he added. He didn't sound angry or annoyed, just observing.

Did she polish her tiaras? She scrunched her face up in concentration before she shook her head and started giggling once more. "Nah. I don't think they need polishing. They might blind me with how shiny they are... like they're really shiny." She giggled a bit more as she watched Fin walk to the kitchen to beside the couch before he presented her a glass a water. She took it and studied it a bit before she sipped on it. She glanced up at Fin when he mentioned her being different. Was she feeling different? Definitely. But acting? She clicked her tongue before she giggled once more. "I feel like Mac..." she said after a couple of moments before nodded her head. "I bet she feels like this all the time. I must feel like her right now."

Finn couldn't help but chuckled as she scrunched her face up at him and giggled, shaking her head. She said that they didn't need polishing and he nodded. "I'll take your word for it." Then she was studying the water as she took it from him before taking a sip. He watched her intently, making sure she actually drank it. She spoke again, saying that she felt like Mac, and he frowned at her, his brow furrowing. "Awe. Well, that would make sense," Mac was always getting drunk at parties. But maybe not to this extent. He didn't know why Mac was that way. Maybe the blonde had some deep rooted issues. Didn't change the fact that she dragged Chey into it though, therefore angering Finn. "And do you like feeling this way?" he questioned.

Cheyenne looked up at Fin as she took a bigger drink of her water. She knew that water was good for you, since she chugged it on a daily basis, but it sounded good too. She was starting to get a bit of cotton mouth and she wanted to wash away the test. If this was something that Mac had to go through on a daily basis, Cheyenne had no envy for her at all.

But when Fin asked if she liked the feeling, Cheyenne had to think a bit. She wasn't so drunk now than she had been at the party. She wasn't feeling loose anymore. She was feeling tired. She shook her head. “Nah. This cotton mouth is horrible. I wouldn't want it again at all. Plus, I don't know what she put into my drinks.”

Finn waited for her to think through his question patiently, his eyes softly watching her. Then she shook her head and he felt a sudden surge of relief. He breathed out, nodding and reaching over to gently place a hand on her arm. "I think it's better to stay cognitive anyway," he said softly, before looking down at his hand and then pulling it back. "I'm sorry, though, that I had to ruin your night out with Mac. I'm sure she's going to want to kill me in the morning," he joked, smiling a little. "You should get some sleep though," he added.

The longer Cheyenne was away from the party and the drinking, the more tired she felt. She kept drinking the water Fin gave her, since she wanted to get rid of this cotton mouth and she had to try to combat whatever would come in the morning. After she lowered her glass from her lips just as Fin put his hand on her arm. She looked at his hand as her heart fluttered and a slight pink tinge came to her cheeks. She looked back up at Fin as she had to laugh a bit. “Mac probably won't kill you. She'll find some guy to make out and it'll all be better.” And at the mention, Cheyenne tried to stifle back a yawn. “Yeah… sleep is good idea.”

(Either one works, but the bed might be a tiny bit roomier lol)

Fin was so glad that she kept drinking the water. He knew that would be good for her, especially in the morning. He barely registered that her cheeks had turned pink the same time that he touched her. Really, he assumed it was from the alcohol still. He chuckled a bit at her mention of Mac finding someone to make out with and shook his head. What a strange life. Then she yawned, well, tried not to, and agreed that sleep was a good idea. "Yeah, you're face is a little red. You definitely need rest," he said firmly, standing up, "you can take my bed," he offered, holding a hand out to her.

Cheyenne made sure to finish off her glass before she set it on a side table before she looked up at Fin. Good thing she finished her water or otherwise she'd be choking on it in that moment. He stood up and was offering his hand while mentioning her taking his bed. He already pointed out that her face was red, but she swore that it got redder in that moment. “I… umm…” she managed to stutter as she finally took his hand to stand up. “Are you sure?” She raised her eyebrows at him before she bit the corner of her lip slightly. “I don't want to kick you over to the couch or the floor. Are you sure?”

Oh, she was stumbling now. Finn didn't realize why that was for a few moments and then his slightly reddened too. She took his hand, though, and he pulled her to standing, catching her elbow with his other hand to steady her in case she was dizzy. "I'm sure," he responded softly, his eyes looking to where she was biting her lip. "I don't mind. I'll help you get settled in. Come on," he gently pulled her hand and led the way. Once at the room, he finally looked away from her, turning toward the bed. He slowly let go of her hand in order to turn down the covers.

Cheyenne's heart was really fluttering in her chest when she happened to catch where Fin’s gaze had gone, but she tried to blame it on the alcohol. It wasn't working. However, Fin was pretty insistent on her taking his bed and led her to his bedroom. His bedroom. But she was she was thankful he had a hold of her elbow, since her legs were not cooperating with her. At least she could blame that on whatever Mac gave her. But finally they were in his room. His bedroom. He let go of her hand to turn down the bed as she moved to cross her arms across her chest. She looked everywhere around the room except where Fin and the bed were. “I like what you've done with the place,” she said trying to avoid the awkwardness she was feeling.

Cheyenne wasn't doing a very good job of not acting awkward and Finn was not doing a very good job of helping either. He didn't look at her either, of course, as he turned down the blankets. Finally, he turned around but he still didn't look right at her. Instead he looked at her arm as he tapped it. "Thanks," he said softly before trying to pull her arm away from being folded in order to gently guide her toward the bed. "Here, you should lay down. Do you need... anything else?" like what, Finn? More water?

He felt that twist in his stomach, the one he'd felt a thousand times whenever he was around her. He used to think it was just intense respect, but he knew better now. She didn't have to know, though.
