Kaylee remained pretty subdued and calm as she helped Miss Grumpypants walk over to the sick bay. Maybe she wasn't so grumpypants as Kaylee was Miss Sunshinepants? Kaylee didn't know and she didn't have the time to ponder over it. Then again, Kaylee had other things to worry about, like cat videos and when she was going to see Tristan again. Not about Miss Grumpypants. Nope.
She looked over at Jen as she raised her eyebrows. Was she the resident bunny expert at camp? She thought everyone knew that they didn't like hand-holding. She was about to say something about it when Jen continued talking. Kaylee shrugged her shoulders. "I really don't like war or the war games we do, even if my mom is an important part of them. I'd rather vanquish chocolate to my stomach instead of my enemies to their death."

Kaylee looked shocked for a moment as she blinked a couple of times as she looked at Jen. Was her smile really that blinding? She did brush her teeth everyday, but not to the point where they would have blinded anyone. Her smile fell a bit as she gave Jen a slight smile with no teeth showing. In a way, Kaylee looked like a hurt puppy.
She didn’t say anything at first as she helped Jen walk over to the sick bay. Well, Kaylee did the walking while Miss Grumpypants more or less hobbled. She looked over at Jen and raised her eyebrows when she said that Kaylee had better things to get back to. “Bunnies don’t like having their hands held,” she said very seriously as she turned her head so she was looking forward. “They’re quite grumpy when it comes to that sort of thing.”

Kaylee patiently waited as Miss Grumpypants Jen made up her mind. But she stayed in position before Jen finally decided to accept her help. Kaylee crouched down a bit as she positioned herself as a crutch as slowly got Jen onto her feet. She knew that Jen's legs probably were still probably not steady. But Kaylee was very patient and calm getting her onto her feet, but soon enough they were both upright for now.
Kaylee looked over at Jen as she gave her a bright smile. "You ready to head over to the sick bay?" she asked in her normally cheery voice.

Kaylee was trying to help, but she didn't know if Miss Grumpypants Jen knew that she was trying to help. It was in Kaylee's nature just to help others, even if they were a little or a lot reluctant to accept that help. She looked down at Jen and blinked a couple of times as the girl tried to convince her that she was fine. Kaylee shook her head as she looked down at her. "I don't believe it," she said calmly, but her voice had that hint of perkiness in it. She looked at her as she raised her eyebrows at her.
"Not really," she replied to her question. "I know you need the sick bay and you need to get there and so far you can't get there yourself. I can help you there if you want me to."

"Oh no," Kaylee said as she looked down at Jen and blinked a couple of times. She was in worse shape than she originally thought. She couldn't use her legs! Was that what drinking did to people besides get hang overs? Did it make their legs stop working? Maybe. Maybe that was another reason why she should stay at home and watch cat videos all day. She moved in closer to Miss Grumpypants as she knitted her eyebrows together. "Do you need help getting to the infirmary?" she asked as she moved to position herself so she could become a human crutch. "I can help you get there. Maybe the sick bay can help with your legs too."

"Oh well," Kaylee said as she shrugged her shoulders. "I guess it won't be that big of a loss for me. I know Cuddlebug likes it when I stay in and cuddle him. He gets to be quite the purry purr." Kaylee still didn't understand the appeal of parties when cat videos were more fun and they didn't give you a hangover. In Kaylee's book, that was a win-win situation for her. But at least Miss Grumpypants Jen was finally agreeing to go to the sick bay.
"Yup," she said as she nodded her head. "And I think you'll feel so much better too... do you need help getting there?"

"Well, is it knocking it if I have no interesting in trying it?" Kaylee replied back as she looked down at Jen. Kaylee heard about the parties that were thrown around camp and New Rome and she heard about everything that would go down in one. And what happened during those parties were not Kaylee's cup of tea... if she even liked tea. Kaylee shook her head as she giggled a bit. "Nope. I rather stay at home and watch movies or even play with Cuddlebug."
She looked down at Miss Grumpypants Jen and could tell she still wasn't feeling good. She raised and eyebrow at her again before asking, "Are you sure you don't want to go to the sick bay?"

Miss Grumpypants Jen just seemed to stay grumpy and wanted to question Kaylee’s knowledge. It was true that the girl wasn’t that knowledgeable in a lot of things, but only the things she really was interested in. So silly things like drinking, partying, and hangovers were things the rest of the camp was interested in, but not Kaylee. She rather spend the night watching silly cat videos than being in a room full of loud, crazy people. Nope. That was not Kaylee’s lifestyle.
But that looked like it was Miss Grumpypant’s favorite past time. “Well, that’s just silly,” she declared as she crossed her arms over her chest and leaned over to look down at Jen. “Why even drink when you know you’re going to hurt later. That’s a very silly trade off. You just shouldn’t drink if you’re going to go sleep in the gardens later.”

Kaylee looked down at the girl as she blinked a couple of times. Jen was not in a good mood at all. Maybe hangovers did that to people along with grass. If grass made people grumpy, she didn't know why hippies liked it so much. Hippies were supposed to be all mellow and chill, not grumpypants like Jen. Kaylee raised an eyebrow before she said, "Well... hangovers are... bad. Very bad... and they happen when you..." She pursed her lips together as she tried to think. She knew about hangovers, but not that much. How were they caused again... "Drink!" she finally shouted as she snapped her fingers. "It's from when you drink too much!"
But Jen continued to be a grumpypants as Kaylee looked down at her. "If you're sick, you should go to the sick bay," Jen repeated again. "They have stuff that helps with that, even if it doesn't help with a hangover. Why would you want a hangover anyway?"

Kaylee looked down at the girl and giggled a bit as she called her little miss sunshine. She shook her head before she said, "Nah, I'm not an Apollo kid, so I'm not sunshine. I don't know what I would be." She thought for a moment before she clicked her tongue. "Shoes. I would be shoes." She nodded her head to confirm that idea as she looked down at the girl. "Well..." she said as she knitted her eyebrows together. "Wouldn't the sick bay have something to make you feel better? Like... I don't know... anti-hangover stuff?"
Kaylee didn't know that much about hangovers or really any type of medicine. She just knew that if you weren't feeling well, you went to the sick bay to feel better. Unless you were one of those hippies who really loved their grass. She looked down at the girl and nodded her. "It's nice to meet you, Jen, she said as she beamed down at the girl.

Kaylee looked at the girl as she raised her eyebrows. The girl was definitely not looking like she was doing too well. It was almost like she had been ran over by a metaphorical bus. The poor girl. "Have you thought about going to the sick bay?" she asked as she looked down at her. "They might be able to help you than a patch of grass might." Kaylee didn't question it. For all she knew, the girl could've been one of those weird hippies that believed in the power of grass. Kaylee didn't understand it, but the girl could've been one.
But when she asked where she was, Kaylee lifted her head up and looked around. "Well..." she said as she clicked her tongue. "You're in the gardens about three feet away from the rose bushes." She giggled as she looked down at the girl. "Good thing you didn't end up sleeping there... I'm Kaylee by the way."

Kaylee was completely blissful as she frolicked through the gardens before she heard a groan. She paused for a moment as she looked over towards where the sound came from. Now, any other normal demigod would probably think twice before going to investigate the groaning sound. However, Kaylee was proving to be unlike the normal demigods around camp. Instead, she frolicked towards the noise, wanting to know what it was coming from. And what is was coming from, Kaylee quickly discovered, was a groaning girl laying in the grass in the middle of the garden. What a silly little place to rest.
She moved to be besides the girl as she moved to plop down. She sat cross legged as she looked down at the girl. Oh dear. She did not look like she was having a good day. "Are you alright?" Kaylee asked in her normally chippy voice. "Sleeping in the grass is kind of a silly place, don't you think?"

Kaylee liked walking through the garden alone. It gave her a chance to think by herself while admiring all the pretty flowers. So that's why today she was just walking up and down the paths in the gardens as her hands were stretched out to run her hands across the top of the flower bushes. It was a beautiful, sunny day out and Kaylee thought it was perfect. After a walked down a couple of paths, she gradually started skipping. And why shouldn't she skip? It was just a perfect day. A beautifully perfect day to just frolic in the gardens.

Kaylee giggled as she shook her head. “Nah,” she said as she looked up at her friend and beamed at him. “I think you two are good to stay here a little bit.” She patted a spot next to her on the bed. “Come have a seat Trist. I don’t know how much longer Cuddlebug wants his cuddles.” She looked down at the cat and giggled a bit more. Cuddlebug was really loving the chin scratches and seemed to purr extra loudly, especially when Tristan came into the room.
She looked back up at Tristan as she tilted her head to the side a bit as she contemplated his question. “My day was good,” she said as she nodded her head in agreement. She looked over at Tristan. “Did you have a good day too?”
