Kenji was sitting in a tree, his arms wrapped around his knees as he say, worried. His brother was still in the Infirmary due to his hands. He hadn't trained in days, and was to distracted. he just needed some time on his own though. Kenji put his chin on his knees, not watching anyone to see him. He was so strong, and when his cabin mates looked at him, it was as a pillar of strength. Yeah, strength that scared the shit out of them most of the time (jay) but a constant. Right now, he was anything but that.
kenji sighed again, and then his fist lashed out to the right, hitting the thing that he felt that but instead of finding a thud, he felt something hug his arm. He raised his eye brow, prepared to get yanked as he looked over, but instead saw a little dragon hugging his arm, rubbing into it like it was home. Kenji's eye brows rose, surprised as brought his arm in, looking at it. Kenji never saw one this size. The dragon looked up at him, and brought it's head in close and sniffed in. Kenji has his other hand ready to punch, ready for the bite. What caught him by surprise what when the thing full body hugged his face.
After a few minutes of screaming, tugging, and scratching, Kenji looked at the thing sitting across from him on the branch. Kenji, who did not have the best history with it's kind, was kind of creepy out at the lovey dovey look it was giving him, but couldn't bring himself to punch it now. He gave a low growl of frustration, which the dragon took for a sign to tackle his face again
Another fifteen minutes, falling out of a tree and throwing the baby dragon, Kenji was walking along the woods with a baby dragon on his head. "I need a translator," he thought, looking around. There were plenty of monsters and nature spirits giving him a wide range, but he needed someone who spoke animal, and that was a sytar. Kenji spotted one, and took off, the dragon jumping off and flying after him.
Jumping a bush and root, his feet caught up to it easily. Kenji grabbed his shirt, and said," I need a favor. it won't leave me alone. Why?" Kenji pointed at the dragon with his other hand, now perching on his shoulder. The dragon looked at the sytar hungerly, to which the sytar said," It says your it's mother, and that it...I'm not saying that," the Sytar said, which in Kenji's surprise at that statement said," I am so not."
"He says you smell like it's parent." Kenji's hand let go, which the sytar took off. The dragon made a sound of disappointment, and looked at Kenji. Kenji looked at the new scar on his wrist, then back at the young one. "I'm not your parent. Take a hike." The dragon on rubbed it's head against his check, making cute noises. "Freaken Zeus' lighting pants," he said, pushing the thing away, and realized that the Sytar said he. "Just what I need now. Fine, lets drop you off at Uncle Kurtis." Kenji turned, walking out of the woods with a pissed off look on his face and a baby dragon flying around his head with a mouse in it's mouth.
