Danks entered the cabin of Khione and started approaching the frozen waterfall where his little Penguin Juniper liked to play. After playing with her for a while he noticed that there was a door open a few feet behind the ice slide. He had never noticed the other doors against the wall, the rooms for his siblings, but he definitely never noticed one was open before. He set Juniper back in the snow and started walking towards the door. Once he reached it it knocked gently, "Hello?" he flattened his hand on the door and started to push it open slowly.

And there it was. The interruption Cassi knew was coming sooner or later. For once she'd decided to leave her door open, she would never admit it but the adorable cries of one of her sibling's pet penguin made her day. And every now and then the curious little critter would wander into her room, and while people weren't her forte in any way, adorable little animals (except cats - especially black cats. They were just horrid.) were. And even better, it was a penguin of all things! Something that wouldn't shy away from how chilly she was. But she knew, that eventually someone would take advantage of that open door and come snooping around. And at an irritating moment as well.
Cassi was in the middle of rewriting a certain letter to her papa. Her desk was bursting at the seems with the unsent letters. She jammed her letter into the top drawer and shoved herself away from the desk to face the intruder. Oh, it was just Danks. She didn't speak to anyone much, and hadn't really gotten to know her siblings as of yet, but she was much more comfortable around them than the other demigods. "Curiosity killed the cat," she deadpanned.

"Do you always keep this door so... hidden?" Danks asked as he stood in the doorway. He had no idea where his little sister Cassi slept at night, he hadn't gotten to know her that well considering the hundreds of times he left camp to go on some stupid quest or was kidnapped by their mom. Danks felt a little movement by his feet as Juniper ran into the room and started squeeking at Cassi.
"Guess Juniper likes you," Danks said happily. Danks was really bad with people, even siblings. His shoulders tensed the longer he stood there. What would he say next? What did she think about him? How could he make her life in the cabin better? He was the eldest child there, so it made sense that he should care for his little sister.

"Well you just noticed it now, didn't you?" Cassi said, watching as Danks stepped farther into her room. He was the "eldest" of her cabin, so he was the "Den Mother" of sorts, and here he was asking silly questions he should know the answers too. Her frigid eyes softened slightly as her favorite member at this camp waddled up to meet her, squeaking happily. Her heart melted, had she ever seen someone so happy to see her? She reached down, allowing the little critter to rub against her hand. "Well, I like Juniper, as well."
She scooped up Juniper, setting the adorable penguin into her lap so she could stroke it. "So, was there something you needed? I'm not getting busted for anything am I?"

Danks shrugged, "So what? I'm pretty unobservant." He laughed. Danks smiled happily as Juniper cuddled up to his sister, "Aaw, I'm glad! She needs a friend when I'm out being busy and such. I'm glad she likes you, she can get a little snippy with ladies sometimes. I think she's jealous." He whispered that last part, jokingly as if Juniper couldn't hear.
Danks laughed as his sister spoke. She was so small and fragile, or at least she seemed from the outside. He knew differently, of course."No, no. I just never noticed where your door was. I always assumed you hid in the cupboards or something." He joked.
