FREESTYLE APPLICATION tyler blackburn - eighteen - camp jupiter - demisexual - single PERSONALITY Quiet. Shy. Introvert. Whatever you want to call it, Archer is not the social person. He's not seen in big groups. This doesn't mean he's doesn't make friends, because that's not the case. he just prefers to hang out on a one-on-one basis or in small groups. Archer has trust issues. He really doesn't like anybody getting too close to him and he's pretty vulnerable if you get that close to him. He's a pretty sensitive guy, but he usually keeps his true emotions under lock and key. He is an escapist, but he prefers to escape into movies, since he still has his childhood ambition of being a movie maker. APPEARANCE Archer likes to keep his hair on the longer side, but he gets haircuts, but only when he really has to. His style is on the simple side. He likes his jeans and tshirts with the occasional flannel to top it off. He does wear a beanie when his hair is unruly and he doesn't have the energy to tame it. He has several scars across his chest from various fights and he has his gang symbol tattooed on his upper arm, but that's usually not on display at all. He does have his SPQR tattoo on display though and it has three lines marking his three years of service to the legion. HISTORY Archer grew up in New Rome, but he doesn't remember it at all. His parents served the legion and then went to settle down in New Rome. They were blessed by Mercury a little baby boy that they named Archer. Things were perfectly alright for the Davidson clan. They lived a simple life as both of Archer's parents were merchants. However, all things changed when Archer was five. A deadly fire consumed their house and Archer was the only one to make it out alive. The boy didn't have any immediately family in New Rome and the people didn't want to put him in an orphanage, so they sent the boy to live with his great aunt who lived in Los Angeles. However, Mercury knew that the boy would be in danger from his memories, so as soon as the boy crossed the Little Tiber, Mercury modified Archer's memories that he would still have the memories of his family, but none about New Rome or of his demigod heritage. Life in Los Angeles wasn't the greatest. Archer's great aunt was too busy being a successful banker to really pay any attention to him and left him in the care of several nannies. That's when Archer's imagination ran wild and he became interested in movies. He loved having a couple of hours to escape reality to whatever world the movie took place. Once he heard of people who actually made those movies, it became Archer's dream to be one of those. However, he had to put his dreams on the back burner. As he got older, his great aunt decided he was too old for nannies and that he could run around by himself. The boy with a usually active imagination ended up finding himself in trouble and lots of it. By the age of eleven, he had joined a street gang named the Jets. And it was when his powers really came into play. He was very skilled in the art of lock picking and always seemed to pick any lock on the first try along with being super stealthy. His great aunt had no idea about his gang involvement, especially when he was officially initiated when he was twelve and got the tattoo to prove it. From there the trouble just seemed to find him more and more. he had several close encounters with the police, but, luckily, he was never arrested. Things changed, however, after Archer turned thirteen. He got into a fight with a rival gang and it landed him and several other guys in the hospital. Archer was stabbed several times in the chest and it resulted in a couple of broken ribs and a punctured lung. It was enough of an experience that Archer was scared to continue with his gang, but he knew that he would possibly be killed if he left. So once he was discharged from the hospital, he ran away from home. He didn't know what it was, but something in his gut was telling him to head north, so he did. That's when he started running into the monsters. First they were minor ones, but then they got challenging the further north he went. Until he stumbled upon the wolf house. Lupa deemed him worthy enough to undergo her training and that's when Archer found out about his demigod parentage. Lupa's training was harsh, but Archer felt that his time in the gang prepared him for it. He was trained on how to perfect on being stealthy, because sometimes the deadliest enemies are the ones you never hear coming. It was a little after Archer's fourteenth birthday that Lupa deemed him ready and sent him off towards New Rome. It was a long and dangerous journey, but he finally arrived within a few weeks after the wolf house. He was brought into New Rome and made a Probatio of the legion. Between people knowing his family and his skills he honed in on during his time in the wolf house, he was placed in the Third Cohort. And that's where he's been in the years since. He's turned out to be a good warrior, being that his thievery skills makes him an excellent person for distraction or doing the sneaky stuff.
