Her favorite thing lately is to make sticks into deadly weapons. cabin/cohort-- Ares Cabin allegiance-- Greek personality-- Hunter is known for being an outdoorsy person. She'd rather be out in the great outdoors than stayed cooped up in a room. She loves the openness and the opportunities to learn new things. She has developed a sense of independence as well. She's quite friendly, when she's not coping an attitude, and likes to hang out with people. However, she's not content with just a movie or whatever. Adventure should be her middle name with how much she craves it. Hunter is also a teenager. And a sassy one at that. She's not afraid to speak her mind about anything or anyone. This has led her into getting into trouble quite a few times with friends and higher ups, which of course creates that horrible teen drama. She wants to be a counselor or even a leader for the Ares cabin. But she knows she has a lot more years and a lot less trouble to get into first. godly parent-- Ares/Greek family-- Col. Annette Torres, fourty, air force test pilot pets-- none hometown-- Alamogordo, NM history-- Hunter was born to Annette and Ares and she grew up on the air force base in New Mexico. Mom was a test pilot by day, but she was a nature aficionado at night. Whenever there was a scheduled break, the two of them took a trip out into the wilderness. They didn't do the cabins or the RVs, but the rustic tent camping. But the two of them bonded while they spent time in the outdoors. It was during those trips growing up that Hunter really grew a love for the outdoors and loved every moment outside. Things became a struggle for Hunter once she was old enough to start school. She didn't like staying inside all day and it didn't help that she also had ADHD and dyslexia on top of that as well. Hunter really truly excelled in science when they actually got outdoors for nature-related science. Otherwise she struggled in all of her other classes and barely passed each year to advance into the next school year. It was after Hunter turned ten that she got the news that her mother was killed in a freak accident. She had to be pulled from class and told the news since Hunter became distressed over the news. Little did they know at the time that Stymphalian birds that caused Annette's airplane to explode in the air. But nobody knew that. Up until that point, Hunter wasn't tormented by the Greek monsters, but they apparently smelled her on her mom. But since Hunter had no nearby family, she had to be given to the state and be sorted into foster care. Hunter wasn't having any of that. She disappeared that night after packing the few essentials. Plus, she heard a calling. Call it her mother's spirit or whatever, but it was telling her to go east. And east was where she went. She used all her skills she developed during her outdoor outings with her mother along with a few new ones that she picked up along the way as she made her way east. Right as she hit about the Mississippi river where the monsters started attacking her. Hunter did her best to defend herself, but she was able to outsmart the monsters as well. It was around there that she met a satyr who helped her guide her way to Camp Half-Blood where she felt the calling coming from. Her eleventh birthday had already passed when Hunter crossed the boundaries into camp, but she was claimed as a child of Ares on the spot. Since then, Hunter has made camp her new home. She loves the outdoor activities along with annoying her siblings. She has gotten in trouble with Chiron a few times, but she swears she'll be better when she's older.
