Ivy League Hideout (Jacob+Accalia)

[Accalia Phillips]

"Well that doesn't bother me!" She said quickly. She didn't want him to think HE had done anything wrong. She shook her head and tightened her grip on the front of his shirt, "You're...doing fine really..." She said softly. She then let herself smile again, "Hey. Let's not worry about anything. The point is...I like spending time with you. A lot. So, let's keep doing that." She leaned up and kissed his cheek.

Jacob jumped a little when she spoke up and was relieved to hear he hadnt messed up. A smile slowly crept across his face and ended up stopping at a certain point. He nodded and his smile spread a little bit more when she kissed his cheek. His empty eyes stared down at her and he kept the smile no matter how confused he was. The other hand that was on her waist reached around her and pulled her into a hug. He refused to say why but he was using the hug to thank her since she was the only one who didnt run off awkwardly whenever a thought about his sight came up.

She wasn't sure why he was hugging her but she moved her arms from his chest so that she could hug him back. She pressed her cheek against his chest and hugged him tightly. She felt so warm there, which was a new feeling. Then it hit her, Aden, that was the name of the Aphrodite boy she liked when she first got to camp. She thought about him for a moment and then shook it off. She was hugging Jacob now, she had kissed Jacob, Aden didn't matter. She squeezed Jacob tighter.

Jacob felt her put her cheek against his chest and his smile shrunk not horribly but it shrunk so it was more of a relaxed smile. He lowered his own head and put his cheek to the top of her head. She felt warm, or maybe it was him and he just couldnt notice it without someone touching him but it didnt matter. His smile spread a tiny bit again when she squeezed him tighter and he returned the light squeeze.

Then, just in time, Frederick jumped up at Accalia, begging for attention. "Ugh!" Accalia grunted as she pulled away from Jacob and turned to the dog. Scratching behind his ear, "Don't worry Fred, you're still my number one guy!" She giggled a little then slipped one of her hands into Jacobs. "I think it's time we take the dogs home."

Jacob chuckled as the dog jumped at her and was about tease her about saying her dog was the number one guy when she slipped her hand into Jacob. That made him keep his mouth shut. He smiled down at them even if he couldnt see them. He felt boots pawing at his pant leg and he chuckled and bent down to pick up the tiny dog with his spare hand. "getting jealous cause your receiving none of the love?" He scratched under the dogs chin who yipped quietly when he was lifted off the ground.

"Dogs. Always wanting the attention." She smiled at Jacob. He looked... so peaceful. Being there with him, and their dogs. It just felt nice. She started to take a few steps toward her hideout and then suddenly stopped, using her free hand to smack her forehead. "I don't think you ever told me why you came by... were you on your way somewhere? I'm sorry if I distracted you." She said quickly.

Jacob nodded and followed her towards the hideout when he heard a smacking sound. He began laughing when she asked him that question. "No i was just....following boots...he had smelt something so we went after it. I guess what he smelled was you." Jacob was really glad that boots did catch their scent and force him to get up to go walking. "Its completely fine."

"Oh? Does Boots usually follow my scent around?" She laughed and looked up. It was starting to get a bit dark. And the forest in the dark? Never a smart idea. Accalia let go of Jacobs hand, "Should we head back to camp now?" She asked kind of sadly. She didn't really want her day of first times to end. First time flying and kissing. She wanted to keep experiencing first times, but she knew staying out was a bad idea.

He chuckled and raised an eyebrow at her. "I dont know. Is my dog coming to you for spoils?" He laughed for a short while until she asked about camp. He lifted his head slightly feeling the cold air and figured it was night. "Yeah...that would be a good idea." He wanted to stay out there with Accalia longer but he didnt want to get her hurt either and the noises from the forest were getting louder as it got colder.

Accalia shrugged, "You're dog must love me, that's all. I am good company." She said and she started to laugh with him. She hated the noises from the forest. She reached over to grab Jacobs hand again and began walking very quickly towards camp. "Yeah, let's get out of here. I'm freezing." And panicing. Accalia was, to say the least, a scaredy-cat.

He nodded in agreement. "Hes obviously a good judge of character." He laughed with her and followed with her as they walked towards camp. Her hand was shaking and he could feel it. He grabbed her hand with his other and pulled her closer so she wasnt standing over by all the trees, The son of the sky quickly pulled his jacket off miraculously not dropping boots and put it over Accalia. "The wind doesnt bug me." He smiled at her.

Accalia pulled the jacket around her shoulders with her free hand and smiled as they called, "Thank you. I figure it wouldn't bother you or any of your siblings, huh?" She said smiling. She wasn't sure exactly what was going to happen next. The only time she had gotten this close to a guy was her father and he was gone for good. Maybe for good. She knew she shouldn't be wasting her time with these romantic shenanigans when she should be training to find him. She sighed.

Jacob smiled unsure if she was smiling too. After a couple seconds of silence she sighed. That was not a good sigh. His head turned slightly in her direction. "Accalia? What's wrong?" He squeezed her hand a little bit worry showing in his face as well as his voice. He had heard stress? in her sigh and he was now curious. His blank eyes moved around trying to find anything without any luck. He may have looked like he was overreacting. That was probably because he was. A number of things couldve happened. She couldve been hit by a monster and he wouldnt have noticed along with a bunch of other possibilities.

"I'm just... worrying." She smiled as they neared camp. She could see the lights coming from the mess hall, it must have been close to a meal time. Accalia tried to keep a smile on but it wouldn't hold. "It's just my dad. I came here to train to be able to fight my way to him. He's missing at sea, see. Have I already told you this?" She honestly couldn't remember if she had, she thought about it so much that it seemed like it was brought up in every single conversation.
