Demeter Intervention

[Harper Jones]

The walk from the Zeus cabin to the Demeter cabin was a relatively short one, but it was antagonizing. Harper sniffed a bit as she tried not to talk to her siblings, so it was a long awkward silence. As soon as they reached the cabin, Harper let go of Accalia's hand and walked back to her cabin leader room to collapse on her bed into another sob of tears. She didn't even bother shutting the door, so her siblings could walk in if they wanted.

Achilles walked into Harper's room as she cried. He turned to look at Accalia and shrugged. The son of Demeter had no idea what to do for his sister. He had all but lost his dad before he left for camp, so he had no idea what to do about such a conflicting situation like this.

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia smiled at Achilles and touched his arm lightly. Then she went and sat on the bed next to Harper and patted the spot next to her for Achilles to sit down. She then looked at Harper and set her hand on Harpers hair and began stroking it. "Listen Harp... before I can help you I need to know if you..." She sighed, "I need to know exactly how far you went with Rayne. I know it seems like it doesn't matter. But I need to know." She said that last part quickly and softly.

"We only kissed," Harper mumbled into her pillow before she lifted her head up to look at her siblings. "We only kissed, okay? It was about to go further before I saw this." She lifted up her right hand to show them her promise ring. "Cody was the only thing that kept me from doing it." Then she did the unexpected. She sat up and yanked that piece of metal off her finger and tossed it across the room. It landed in corner with a clang. Harper muttered curses under her breath about her boyfriend and having to find that piece of jewelry later.

Achilles was surprised at Harper's sudden violence towards her jewelry. He still didn't know what to say to his sister, and it bugged him. The swordsman couldn't say it was going to be okay again. He had felt like everyone had been lying to him whenever they said that after he told them about his dad's death.

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia gave Achilles a small glare, "Come on, I can't do this alone." Accalia turned back to Harper. "Thank Gods for the ring then. I'm glad you were wearing it. I would've hated to walk into something worse.." Accalia tried not to let her imagination trail off and succeeded by thinking about flowers instead. "I understand things are bad Harper, and with your Dad... listen. Achilles Dad is dead, mine has been missing for years, everything sucks. What makes your problems so special that you can go and do that to Cody? To yourself? To Rayne?" Accala didn't know why she could suddenly get so serious when it came to Harper, to any of her siblings really, but she knew what had to be said.

Harper took very deep breaths as she grabbed her pillow and hugged it to her chest tight. "Because he wasn't there for me," she said as she kept her gaze straight ahead. She didn't even bother looking at them. "He wasn't there for me and Rayne was, okay? Cody's been too busy freaking out about his sister leaving and I haven't seen him in a month. I have needs you know?"

Achilles raised an eyebrow at his sister. "And these needs of yours are more important to you than he is?" He didn't like hearing Harper put it that way. "Well, then. You might as well break up with him now. I don't care for people who decide that they can use others to get comfort." The son of Demeter glared at her. "I thought you liked Cody more than that to treat him in such a disposable way."

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia nodded at Achilles, "Exactly! Disposable. You think I should go having sex with every guy that breathes just because i'm feeling the tad bit lonely? Is that what you are saying? Well, I guess i'll see you guys in about," She looked up at the ceiling pretending to think, "I dunno, who do you think is the fastest around here? So I don't waste my time while trying to fullfill my needs. Gods Harper, you're life isn't THAT HARD!" Accalia was getting really angry about his whole situation. She had Dad problems too, she didn't even have a boyfriend, and she was terrified of everything. What gave Harper the right to justify her actions? Nothing. Nothing gave her that right.

"You guys don't understand!" Harper stood up from her bed still clenching the pillow to herself as she whirled around to face her siblings. "Your dad's dead," she said as she looked at Achilles. "And yours is missing somewhere," she said as she looked over at Accalia. "And while my dad my be here, he's not really here. And he's getting worse and worse by the second." Another batch of tears were welling up in her eyes. "Every time I talk to my family, it's about how my dad is fading away. I can't loose him like I lost Jethro..."

Dawn had sprinted from the forest, going straight for her window, She swore she was being chanced by a Flabber Jack. She went to jump in but felt something hard and fell back onto the ground. She was really confused, even more than normal. Someone But glass On Her Window! How could they! Don't they know how dangerous Fabber Jacks were?! She noticed harpers room window was open and ninja jumped in it, standing up and closing the window before Fabbers could get in. She heard crying and yelling behind her and turned around, harper crying, Achilles and Accalia looked mad. while dawn just looked like she hit her head on a glass window and had dirt all over her bad. "Whats going on?"She asked simply, pretty sure her sibling didn't know she came in

Harper turned around and threw her pillow at Dawn. She was upset right now, which her rashness was on high. "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!" she screamed at her sister as more tears poured down her face. "If your asshole of a boyfriend didn't cheat on you, we wouldn't be having this stupid intervention now!" Then she collapsed back onto her bed and sobbed into her pillows. She wanted to blame everyone but herself for her mess of a life.

Dawn simply caught the pillow, looking over at Achilles and accalia , not waiting for a look to say what was going on. She just looked back at harper, guessing what was going on. "Actually its not my fault. It wasn't My choice to have him cheat on me, It was his, there's always that choice and that temptation. The temptation doesn't go away, It just grows. you have to let it out sometime." She said simply, setting the pillow on the ground against the wall, then proceeding to lay the top of her head on it and doing a head stand against the wall. "So whats going on anyways."

Achilles was even more angry now. "I watched my dad as he was dying from lung cancer, Harper. Maybe I understand better than you think." He stepped out of the cabin leader room before he decided to punch something. The son of Demeter took a few deep breaths trying to calm down.

Harper cried harder into her pillow. Great. Achilles was pissed at her too. Accalia was probably not happy with her. And Dawn... Dawn decided to go all Oprah on her. Was this one little decision really going to screw up her relationship with her cabin? She pulled her head up from her pillow to look at Dawn. "So you're saying it's okay to cheat on people? Just because you need to let it out?"
