[Harper Jones]

Harper was on her hands and knees searching around her room. She swore she threw her ring over here that one day she threw a fit. It didn't just walk away and disappear on her, did it? Harper sighed as she reached under her dresser for the fifteenth time that afternoon brushing her hand against the floor trying to find that piece of jewelry. She needed to find it before she saw Cody again. He would question why she wasn't wearing it and then she was have to explain everything that was going down. Including the cheating. That was a conversation she wasn't looking forward to having. She sighed as she pulled her hand out and sat down on the floor and looked around her room. She had no idea where it could have gone.

[dawn]

"looking for your ring?" dawn asked, standing in the door way of harpers room, raising a eyebrow. Hector-onie the nergel has it, He was keeping it safe from the Jabberwalkies." She said simply as she walked in. Her hair was getting long since she mulaned it so it was up in a small pony tail. "You okay? you seemed...Stressed." she asked, plopping down on her bed, playing with a vine in her hand. She understood everything Harper was going though, it was hard, she went though it with Uriel and her dad, but she knew Harper had it worst.

Harper sighed as she looked over her shoulder and looked at Dawn. "Well," she said with a slight smirk. "Can you tell him that I would like it back soon? I kind of need it eventually. Preferable soon-ish." She sighed again as she pushed her hair out of her face. "And I guess stressed is the best term for it." She completely rotated in her spot on the ground as she shrugged. "I love my promise ring, which I guess I now found, and I still haven't told Cody about... you know what." She sighed again as she looked down at her hands and started picking at her cuticles. "I really screwed up and I'm afraid he's going to hate me because of it..."

Dawn just shrugged, looking down at her sister "you'll never now, I acted crazy when i found out about Uriel and Daphne. I did things I never though I would, But i lived. I know you will to." She said simply as she looked at a window, noticing it was closed and sighed, sticking her pinkys in her mouth and giving a loud whistle. Seconds later a nergel came though the wall and handed her the ring, she simply patted his head as he left. "Here you go." she said and held the ring

Relief flooded Harper when she saw her missing promise ring in her sister's hand. "Thanks," she said as she took the ring from her and stuck in on her finger. It felt weird being on her hand again, but it felt right at the same time. She sighed as she looked up at her sister. "But do you think that Cody would forgive me for all I did? I did worse than Uriel, Dawn. Way worse." She sighed as she looked down at her hands and fiddled with her ring. "I would even break up with myself with the way I was acting..."

Dawn shrugged again, unsure what to say "I don't know cody, all i know is he owes me a fish. I can't say he will or won't break up with you, but forgiving you is a whole other story. He will probably always love you, no mtter what. I mean, have you met yourself?" she said, trying to get her to smile while giggling slightly "your smoking, but if he will forgive you, i say yes, but it will take a while for that. You also will lose his trust for a while, but if you can live that long, things would be back to normal."

Harper pressed her lips together as she sighed. She really didn't like Dawn's words, but they were true and actually made sense for once. Was her sister really acting like a grown up for once? She sighed again as she pushed her hair back with both hands as she looked at her. "I guess if he does forgive me, I can go through hard times with him a little bit longer." She placed her head in both of her hands as she tried to make herself believe everything would be okay. "I'm such an idiot, Dawn. A complete and total idiot for doing this to him. He deserves better..."

Dawn sighed and stood up, going to Harper and patting her shoulder "You'll be fine, and You made a mistake. We all do. Uriel did, I did, Now you. We all do it and its only human nature that we do. Nergels are the only thing I've ever met that don't make mistakes, thats why i follow their lead in life." She said as she sat crisis cross next to her sister, running her finger over the floor and making her own, tulip/rose/lily mix flowers she called Kales Pop though the cracks "Read the directions and directly you will be directed in the right direction. " she mumbled, quoting her favorite movie.

Harper picked her head out of her hands to smile at her sister. "Thanks," she whispered to her as she just looked at Dawn. She was still her favorite little sister, but she grew up so much too. She sighed as she leaned over to hug her sister as she tried not to break down. In her head, she couldn't help but continue to bash herself. She really was an idiot having herself do all of that. She could have gotten sick and injured. It was really a wonder that she didn't face harsher consequences than her boyfriend breaking up with her.

Dawn just hugged her sister back, smiling as she did. She knew she would be alright. Harper was tough. She though of something and looked at harper, slightly petting her hair. "Well. Maybe if you go vist Jethro he can help you figure out what for you do to. I know he knows how to calm you down." she said sweetly as she smirked and flicked her nose "remember, you have to be good and lost before you can find him." she said and giggled softly, keeping her sister in a tight hug.

Harper smiled a bit at Dawn's antics. She always seemed to know what to say, which made her a lot wiser than Harper. Harper did the stupid stuff like hook up with random guys. While Dawn was just goodhearted and cared about everyone. She'd never seen her sister make a mistake. In a way, Harper looked up to her sister, but wouldn't mention it, since she had to be a good cabin leader. She sighed as she pushed her hair out of her face yet again. "Yeah," she said softly, "I probably should. It's been a while since I last saw him. He's probably lonely without me."

[dawn]

Dawn nodded but went wided eyes when she noticed something coming in the window. "BUTTERFLY!" She said and shot up, running around the cabin trying to catch it. She loved butterflies, and she liked being a kitty cat and trying to catch in. As she ran around she managed to trip over two beds and make it back in harpers room before it flew out the window again. She just huffed and sat down, crossing er arms across her chest. "stupid butterfly.."She mumbled till the same butterfly flew back in and landed on her nose. "Of course...." she mumbled again, starting to pet the little bugs wings.

Harper rolled her eyes as Dawn started chasing the butterfly around the cabin. Maybe she wasn't that mature as she lead everyone to believe, but she still had her moments. Harper actually cracked a smile the first time that entire afternoon since she started searching for her ring. Hades, it was the first time she legitimately smiled in a long time. She shook her head and chuckle somewhat when the butterfly landed on Dawn's nose. "You're something else, Dawn."

Dawn looked over and nodded, causing the butterfly to fly away and back outside "I hope i am, I don't want to be something that's the same, then I wouldn't be dawn." She said happily. She was happy when her sister was happy, actually whenever anyone around her was happy. She liked being happy, it made the hard things in life easier, since you can just remember when you were happy, then be happy again.

Harper chuckled a bit as Dawn explained her logic. Her life would be completely different if she didn't have her sister in her life. She looked down at her ring and started twisting it around her finger. She looked up again to smile at her sister. "Thanks for finding this for me," she said softly. "It really means a lot to me..."
