Coward once again.

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia made her way to the art room and decided to paint. Granted, she wasn't very good at painting. She just hoped she didn't see anyone who noticed her leave the party and noticed she didn't go to capture the flag.

After she left the party Accalia went back to her cabin to console with her dog, Frederick. He didn't give much advice of course but Accalia always felt better talking to him. She went back to that moment in her mind:

"Frederick, i'm tired of being a coward." the dog looked up at her lovingly when she said this, her eyes glistening a little. "I probably should go apologize to John. And Harper, an Daven." She sighed sadly.

When Harper got home Accalia made sure that she was asleep so she wouldn't have to fess up to anything. Now, it terms of capture the flag. Accalia had missed every single one due to a shaky sickness that would overcome her at the thought of battling people. Once again, a coward.

Accalia forced her mine to return back to the art room where she started to paint a picture of a rose. A white one, alone among leaves.

[Harper Jones]

Harper had been searching for Accalia, since she had been avoiding her since the party. When Harper woke up this morning, Accalia already left. She didn't know where to find Accalia, since her little hideout was unoccupied. And that's why she cornered an Aphrodite, being the gossipers that they were.
Harper opened the door and saw that Accalia was painting. She slipped into the seat right next to hers.
"So, where did you disappear to the other night?"

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia saw Harper walk in but didn't look at her until she sat down. She smiled, "I'm sorry I left. I wasn't...feeling well." She looked back at her painting, she had just drawn a green stripe accidentally right through the spot she had wanted to paint her rose. She frowned and set down the brush, then sighed. "I'm freaking out a little Harper."

[Harper Jones]

Harper raised both of her eyebrows. "Freaking out? Did John do something to you? If I find out he did something, he's going to wish..." She continued the rest of her rant incoherently, with only "John" being the clearly heard word.

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia turned to Harper and widened her eyes, "No, no! He didn't do anything bad." Accalia smiled weakly, "It's just that i'm such a coward and it's really getting old. I'm sick of it. But when I try to be brave I just..." she looks down at her hands, "I dunno I just get more scared."

[Harper Jones]

Harper slowly nodded her head. This threw her for a loop; what was she going to say?
"I don't think you're a coward." Harper said softly as she rested her hand on Accalia's.

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia just nodded and then looked back up at Harper, "Hey! I saw you dance with Cody." Accalia smiled, she wanted to change the subject.

[Harper Jones]

Harper felt herself blush at his name. She quickly turned her head away, hoping to hide it. "Yeah," she laughed lightly, "we did dance." For a good chunk of the party, she mentally added.

[Accalia Phillips]

Accalia smiled, for real this time. "Hey! Look at me you! I want to hear all about it." She giggled, "Oh, and i'm sorry I failed at our 'Demeters conquering the men' deal. I'll do better, I promise." She tapped Harpers shoulder, "Buuuut. You still have to tell me all about it."

[Harper Jones]

Harper finally looked at her sister, her face burning.
"Well," she said suddenly getting all giggly. "We danced. A lot. And we talked too." At this point she was just rambling on. "And I kissed him on the cheek. And in the middle of the party, he had to leave, so he kissed me on my hand and cheek." She giggled and blushed more at the memory. Then she sighed heavily. "And oh my gods, he was attractive. And I am hopeless when there are attractive boys around."

[Accalia Phillips]

"That is so exciting!" Accalia almost jumped up and down with excitement, but she didn't want to knock her 'painting' over. "Well, any other boys whose hearts you affected?" Accalias mind wandered back to John, and she couldn't figure out why he had such a big effect on her. She shook it off and turned her attention to Harper.

[Harper Jones]

Harper shrugged as her blush died down. "I also danced with Ceil; he's a Zeus kid. He's cute and we flirted." She sighed. "Nothing too special, you know? But I think I conquered his heart." She laughed. "Oh my gods, I'm sounding like an Aphrodite kid." She laughed some more.

[Accalia Phillips]

"Hey, hey. Our goal was to be BETTER than the Aphro's, remember?" Accalia finally had calmed down and looked back at her canvas, "I met him once too. By the lake."

[Harper Jones]

Harper raised her eyebrows.
"You did, did you?" She nudged her sister's shoulder. "You know you have to tell me now. I don't care how boring it is. Spill."

[Accalia Phillips]

"Well, I was looking for Frederick and I found Ciel. Actually it was the beach not the lake, and that Kad kid showed up on his Pegasus," she shuddered, "Which I didn't like. But he is very, very nice! Ciel I mean, I don't know Kad to well."
