Zoltan bit his lip, the colour slowly rising in his cheeks as she dropped his hand and looked down. There he goes again, making people feel awkward and uncomfortable. Maybe he should have held her hand back? But, surely it was too soon for anything like that. Besides, he couldn't do it. He didn't have enough confidence and he wasn't smooth enough. Plus, the son of night obviously had the uncanny ability to make those around him feel incredibly awkward without trying. He sucked at human interaction, he should simply live in the forest with the monsters and animals.
"Um," He looked up at the clouds trying to find another shape to get things back to the way the way. "That one looks like a dinosaur." Zoltan said, nodding at a random cloud.

Roxy tried to make this less awkward by smiling, she stopped looking down at her hands and looked at Zolt, she smiled at him and then looked at the clouds, the clouds reminded her of home, she used to see them all the time with her friends. She looked at the cloud that Zolt pointed at. "Oh yea," she tilted her head to the right. "Yea, I see it." She smiled and looked for another cloud. She smiled and said. "Oh look at that one, it looks like an ice cream cone" She pointed at it, it was cute, the cloud.

He was glad that she'd smiled and stopped looking at her hands. It simply made him feel a little bit better and that he wasn't making her feel too uncomfortable. He was still looking up at the clouds, but he wanted to start a different conversation, maybe find out what was going on at camp. But he couldn't really get himself to come up with some amazing conversation starter. Obviously he was no socialite, still, the son of night looked over at her, a small smile on his lips as he chuckled at the last shape she found. "So, Roxy. Who's your parent?"

Roxy looked over to Zolt, she smiled at said. "My dad, Apollo, he is my godly parent." She smiled, she loved being the daughter of the god of light. She always felt like the sunshine, her mother used to tell her how when she entered the room she lighted the whole room and when she smiled it made her feel the luckiest mother alive. "And who is your godly parent?" She smiled and was relieved that they were having a conversation and not just being quiet while watching clouds, not that that was bad, she just liked talking and getting to know Zolt better.

It made sense, someone as bright and happy as Roxy was a daughter of the sun god. She was definitely suited to being an Apollo. Even in just the short time he'd known her, she'd always been so bright. It really only made his own darkness seem more prominent next to her light. He looked down at the ground when she asked the question back. Sure, he'd known it was coming, but he didn't really like talking about his mother. "Nyx." His voice was quiet again as he looked back up at her to see her reaction. "I'm a son of night."

Roxy smiled, she kind of figured that Zolt would be son of Nyx, but she had many gods that would much likely be also his father but Nyx was one of them. She didn't care that she was the daughter of the son god and he was the son of night. She smiled and said. "That's so cool." She hadn't met any one that was child of Nyx, so it was pretty interesting. She wanted to have more conversation so she said. "It is pretty weird isn't it, having godly parents." She hadn't talked to any of the other campers about their godly parent, or how they felt about being their child.

Zoltan looked up sharply at her to see if she was serious. Being a son of night wasn't cool, it was probably the worst thing imaginable. He was an outcast from camp, the one place people like him are supposed to be feel safe and protected. Yet, he didn't, he never had. And here was this girl, this really pretty and lovely girl telling him that all of that was cool. He looked down again, biting the inside of his cheek as he thought all of this through. "Yeah, I guess it is." He replied quietly, looking up again, trying to put a smile back on his face.

Roxy didn't know if Zolt was okay or not, maybe it was what she said? What did she say that was wrong? She smiled at Zolt, trying to make him feel better. "You know why I think being the son of Nyx is cool?" She smiled and said. "Because, she is considered one of the most powerful goddess, then that means you are powerful, even though you don't know yet." She liked bringing the great things in things that may seem bad, but it never really mattered who was his godly parent, it was as great as his mortal parent. Other cool things about Nyx is her abilities, like, create both extreme darkness and light, and manipulate dreams.

Zoltan raised his eyebrows at her. He bit the inside of his lip as he plucked a blade of grass from the ground as she spoke. He twirled it around in the fingers before he began slowly shredding it. He knew he was one of the most powerful demigods at camp. Save for his older brother, Xenos, he might actually be the most powerful, but really, he didn't care about power. "Yeah, I've heard that I'm pretty powerful." The son of night sighed. It was probably why he'd been chosen to fight the son of Hades in the first place. He looked up slightly to see her reaction, hopefully Roxy wouldn't think he was full of himself for knowing.

Roxy smiled, she liked that Zolt wasn't the type of telling everyone how awesome or cool he was and that he would just stick on the down low, she crossed her legs and said. "Well, lots of people here are powerful, but I hate does who go saying how their godly parent is Zeus and that he or she is the best and all that, I just wish we could all go through life peacefully without having to worry about our problems." Was she talking so randomly? Well that was her, unfortunately... She bite her lower lip and hoped that she wasn't so random.

A smile tugged at his lips at what she said. It was true, all those big three kids seemed to think they were so much better than the rest of camp. But really, the primordial kids were some of the most powerful at camp half-blood. A chuckle escaped his lips as he looked back up to her. "Some people have more problems than others." The corner of his mouth pulled up in half smile. Hopefully she wouldn't ask why he said that, he'd have to explain why then. That could end in an awkward pity party, but he couldn't hold the comment back.

Roxy smiled, she had problems of her own, she didn't feel like discussing them, and she guessed that no one did so why hurt ourselves? She just said. "Yeah," She smiled back to Zoltan, she wanted to change topics, maybe not the whole topic but not to talk about anything that had to do with her own personal problems. "So, Zolt for how long you've been here?" Maybe that was a better question than the others that she had asked, it was just a number, or something like that. Since it was her first time in Camp she wanted to hear everything about it.

He could guess that his little comment had made things a little uncomfortable, Zoltan basically just wanted to facepalm right there because he felt so stupid. Why would anyone ever want to talk about their problems? Especially to people they'd just met. The son of night had looked back at the ground and started tugging at some of the blades of grass. He chewed the inside of his lip for a moment before answering her question. "I'm not sure exactly. I've never really been good with time." Zoltan looked up briefly to flash her a small smile before looking down again. "Besides, I've been kind of ... Coming and going for a while."

Roxy smiled, it was so nice to have a conversation, well with someone who wasn't in her cabin, she had just met her little brother and she did not know where her brothers and sisters were. She smiled and listened to Zolt. She nodded, she was processing stuff, she was a little slow. "Oh, okay." She didn't know if she should ask why or not. Maybe he will say it without her having to ask. She smiled at Zolt and the looked again to the clouds.

He would be lying if he hadn't been expecting her to ask why he was leaving and returning to camp. But when the question didn't come, he was both surprised and a little relieved that he wouldn't have to try and explain to her that although he'd made the wrong choice before, he wasn't actually a bad person and he didn't actually like hurting people. But usually if Zoltan tried to explain, people seemed to only see the bad things he'd done. He let out a small sigh as he continued shredding grass, before peeking up to look at Roxy. She seemed entirely calm about the entire situation, yet he was kind of stressing out. He needed to find some way to get more comfortable. "So how long have you been here? You'd only be new I guess." He gave her a half-smile.
