Roxy smiled, she was kind of embarrassed to be so new, she kinda thought she had to be here earlier, maybe in her early teens. "Well, I have been here for a week now," She giggled, it was all so new to her, she could barely understand anything. She just knew what weapon she liked and was good at, anything else was still blurry. She turned to Zoltan, "How about you?" She had a curious spark in her eyes, she often gets like this when she starts getting to know someone, she babbles and asks too many questions.

It was a little obvious that she was knew, still having that wondrous look about the camp and not knowing the difference between people she should be talking to and people she should be avoiding yet. Though Zoltan was a little surprised that she'd only been here for a week. He nodded slowly before realizing she'd asked a question. The son of night screwed his face up slightly as he tried to remember first what month he'd arrived here and then, what month it was now. "Uh, it would have to be around ..... 6 months now?" He said uncertainly. It sounded basically correct, but he wasn't actually sure.

[MONSTER! RAWR!]

A Kobalos managed to get into camp and felt the need of trickery or at least to scare some demigods senseless. The gnome-dwarf snuck through camp until he found his targets. Alas! The perfect thing! A boy and girl sitting together at the lake! It couldn't have been any more perfect. He snuck up behind the couple very quietly as it pulled out a length of rope. He bound their hands that were closest to each other and made it gentle enough that they couldn't feel it, but strong enough that it would take some force to break it. He straightened up and took a couple of steps back. Then he jumped high into the air and landed on the ground hard before yelling, "A BOOGA BOOGA!" in hopes to scare them.

Roxy smiled, six months seemed like a lot of time... "Woah, that long?" Roxy looked up at the clouds,she sighed, she was so relaxed, so comfortable... Roxy was then surprised by a monster? Elf? Wait... What the hell was that... thing? "Ahh!" She let a scream that wasn't so loud but it was girlish. She just figured it was just a creepy looking monster. It was Roxy's first time in battle luckily she had with her her machete in her right boot. She stood up, but it was hard, she found her right hand tied with Zolt's left, well this was wither romantic or really strange. "Err..." Mostly strange because an elf/monster did it. She hopped on her left leg and tried to get her machete out with her left hand. She finally had in her left arm her machete. She pointed at the monster and threw it. But it landed on the tree that was to the elves left. Ugh, she was a really bad shooter, but only with her left. It was all hopeless.

Zoltan had nodded again, confirming that six months was indeed a long time before he looked up at the clouds again. He was starting to feel a bit more relaxed and comfortable. That was all before the hairs on the back of his neck stood up, just before the creature yelled from behind them. Within seconds, the son of night was on his feet. There was a tugging at his left wrist and upon looking down discovered that his and Roxy's hands had been tied together. A blush passed over his cheeks before he looked up at the ... elf? He couldn't turn around to face the thing without getting really tangled with Roxy, so he waited until just after she threw her knife to take her hand and spin her under his arm so they were both facing the monster. In the next second, Zoltan had summoned a sword from their shadows and pointed it at the Elf. "Leave. Now." This was the loudest and most commanding his voice had been in a long time.

"Ehehehe," the creature crackled as he rubbed his scaly hands together. He eyed his victims with a look of evil pleasure. He didn't even blink as a blade was tossed at him but it went completely to his left. Excellent. It cackled again when the boy tried to act a lot tougher than he actually was. "A BOOGA BOOGA!" it cried out before it disappeared in front of the couple. However, it only reappeared right behind them. It reached out to put a hand on their backs and gave them a hard push. "EHEHEHEHEEH!" he crackled before he disappeared once again to torment new victims.

Roxt still couldn't believe that in her first encounter with a monster she ruined it. But when Zolt commanded the monster to leave, she smiled and got goose bumps. When the creature disappeared she turned to Zolt and smiled. She was so relieved, until she was pushed by.... The elf/monster. She almost fell but her left foot landed in front of her before she fell. She hoped that since she was tied with Zolt that she wouldn't fall if he fell or that if she fell he would fall. It was complicated. She was mad, but she couldn't do anything about it, she didn't have her machete or a bow and arrow, she did a half turn, moving in a half circle so that she wouldn't be tangled with Zolt.

Zoltan could keep the small sigh in when the monster disappeared. He really hadn't expected it to work, but something like that, he just couldn't stomach the idea of hurting. He looked at Roxy out of the corner of his eye, a smile tugged at the edge of his mouth. They'd managed to not get hurt or anything, it was a good thing that it hadn't been a dangerous monster that had attacked them. That was, of course, when the son of night felt himself being pushed from behind. The sword disappeared back into their shadows as he put his arms out to catch himself before hitting the ground. His leg had also come up to catch him and for a moment he stayed in the strange position before looking over at Roxy, an apologetic smile on his lips. "Sorry. Are you okay?" Zoltan asked, his voice quiet again as he stood up properly and looked at her fully.

Roxy turned to Zolt, she blushed, she shyly said. "Oh, er, um, yea I am, er you?" She looked down to her hand, which was still holding Zolt's hand. She blushed more. She couldn't even remember the last time she had blushed like this. She smiled and thought. ::What if Zolt like, defeated the creature-elf? Then he would be my hero...:: Thoughts like this couldn't keep out of her mind, she couldn't help it. She also couldn't help smiling every time he smiled, or when he would say something, then this was just a crush, nothing more nothing less, you can't really rush into things without knowing what the other thinks? Right?

Zoltan was a little confused by her reaction. He was usually the one not being able to make sense and having words not work for him. This entire time, Roxy had been the confident one while he had been excruciatingly awkward. But it appeared the tables had turned. He looked down at their hands when she did and a blush spread across his face. He was holding her hand, that was probably why she looked so uncomfortable. He quickly released her hand and looked up quickly. "I'll, um ... just." The son of night couldn't finish the sentence, so instead he simply formed a small knife out of shadows before carefully severing the cord that linked them and allowing the knife to disappear back into the darkness.

See?! That is what happens when Roxy doesn't act like herself, she needed to act like herself so that Zolt wouldn't panic. Wait? What? Her smile faded, she did seem nervous but not anymore. "Yea uh, yea." She put her hair that was in front of her face and put it behind her ear. Her cheeks were back to being normal. She needed to be herself. She looked at the monster, she didn't know how else she could attack it. She was tied with Zolt, so that meant no running, and she didn't have her machete with her so...

Only after they had their hands free and could finally move independently of each other, did Zoltan begin to feel a little more relaxed again. Which is when he realized he had no idea where the monster had gone. His head snapped up and he began looking around though he found nothing. It was only the two of them at the lake today. The elf must have gone to find new victims. That made the son of night strangely relieved, he hated the idea of having to kill something in front of Roxy though he wasn't upset by the idea of protecting her or being her hero ... Zoltan pushed the thoughts from his mind as he looked down at her again. "You sure you're alright?" He asked softly again, afraid that she'd hurt herself somehow.

Roxanne had hurt herself when her leg had come up to catch her. With her left hand she grabbed ankle and said. "Um, I think I just twisted my ankle, but it's not serious." She let go of her ankle and smiled back. "How 'bout you" She smiled, she liked that Zolt was worried about her, or maybe that was what she thought. She bit her lower lip and then looked where the elf er-monster was. She wondered where it went, and if later she could get her machete from that tree.

A concerned look crossed his face when she mentioned her ankle and touched it. He looked down at it before back up at her, his concern showing on his face before she said it wasn't serious. He kind of doubted that, but didn't want to tell her that she was probably wrong. At least, not to her face. A small smile tugged on his lips as he looked at her. "I'm fine." He couldn't shake the concern that she'd really hurt herself though. "Do you need to sit down? You know to ... rest your ankle?"

Roxanne smiled at Zolt, "Nah I just need to walk it off." She moved her leg and just didn't think about it, she was too busy thinking about something else, like her feelings, the reason why she was so bad at fighting, that Zolt was like her 'hero' and something totally random like if her mother was going to TiVo her favorite tv series while she was here. Note to self: Mail to mother about TiVoing. She liked that Zilt was worried about her though she felt bad because he had just done lots of things for her being worried and actually drawing the elf away, and she was there standing like a dumb blonde, no offense to other blondes, she was feeling down.
