Makayla sighed, putting a hand through her hair as she walked to the beach in her bikini. It was a decent day, but Makayla didn't care, she would have gone down here wether it was nice or rainy. Kyler followed behind his older sister, obviously.
"Sissy... Where are we going?" He had been their since he was 2, but that still didn't matter; the kid was only 6.
"The Beach, dimwit. Did you remember your towell like I told you?" No answer. The little boy just stared at the water, his eyes as huge as saucers, before running into the Long Island beach water. "What did I do to diserve a little brother like this?" She grumbled, chasing after him and yelling. "KYLER TANNER. GET YOUR SWIM TRUNKS ON BEFORE YOU GO IN THERE!" Too late. The kid was soaked head to toe.
Shrugging, Makayla spread her beach towel on the ground, laying down on it on her belly, and putting her sun glasses on, watching Kyler splash through the water, as happy as ever. Sometimes she swore the little tyke was high on just life.

I looked up when I heard voices. I saw a girl sit a few yards away, yelling at her brother. I smiled a bit at that. After watching her for a moment, I went back to staring at the gently rolling water.

Makayla looked up a little bit, noticing another girl on the beach, but not thinking much of it until she saw she was looking at her. "Hi." She said, not caring if the girl heard her or not, she laid her head back down on her arms, continuing to watch Kyler make a complete idiot out of himself.

Accalia made a mad dash for the beach, her dog Frederick had took at a run without so much as a look at her before running out the door and to the water. He loved the beach, the lake, the forest, anywhere but the cabin. So the second Accalia opened the door. BAM! He was gone. The golden retriever ran over to the little boy and stopped about two feet away to stare at him. "Freddy! Ah, Frederick stop!" Accalia caught up to him out of breath.

I smiled slightly as the girl spoke to me. "Hi," I told her back. I shifted into a more comfortable sitting position. "I'm Summer. Who are you?"

Makayla sighed, sitting up on her towel a bit. "Makayla Tanner, daughter of Dionysus." She said before she looked over at Kyler, smiling a tiny smile but it faded quickly, fear struck her as a dog ran full blast at him, stopping only a few feet away. "Kyler! Get away from that dog! Now!" She didn't trust anyones animals around her siblings.
Kyler didn't listen, he reached his arm out to touch the dog, grinning from ear to ear. "Hello, doggy!" He exclaimed.

Frederick stuck his tongue out and panted happily and the boy until Accalia snapped her finger and he ran to her side, she looked at the boy. "I'm so sorry. He gets out of control with excitement at times." Then she glanced over at the angry sounding sister, "I'm really sorry."

"It alright. I like doggies." Kyler grinned at the girl before running back into the water.
Makayla stood up, shaking her head. "Yeah. Whatever you say." She muttered under her breath to the girl as she walked by her to get Kyler, grabbing his hand and taking him over to her towel, unfolding another and making him sit down on it before laying down on her own again. "Stay away from other peoples animals, Kyler."

Accalia took a few steps back, the girl was simply intimidating. Accalia remembered everything she feared, and how everyone took advantage of her. She clenched her fists and her eyes started to water, then she turned on her heel, "Come on Fred." she said softly before Frederick began to lead the way back to camp.

Makayla smirked a little as she saw the girl step back, it pleased her to know she had that kind of power, it was funny also. She never had that kind of life at home, she couldn't even get her own opinion in. But to think she could intimide someone that easily; That made her almost smile. "Oh, don't be a baby, Kyler can take more than that. I just said 'Yeah, whatever'. And I made you tear up?" She laughed a bit.
"I don't wanna sit here. It's boring." Kyler stood up, looking from his sister to the dog, he ran over to the girl with the dog, tugging on her shirt. "Sissy doesn't mean it, you know. She's just cranky today. Are you okay?" The 6 year old tilted his head slightly

I glanced between the two. "Accalia, she didn't mean it!" I stood up, brushing sand off my legs. I shot Makayla a glance. Don't say anything else...

Accalia bent down to look at the boy and smiled sweetly, "I am fine. But, it seems your sisters hasn't changed a bit since the day she came here." Accalia stood up straight again, "Frederick and I think it was a pleasure seeing you today." Then Accalia turned to Summer, "We should go hunting again. Could be fun." She gave Makayla a nod and left. Frederick looked back every once in a while to see the boy but the two of them made their way back to camp.

I nodded. "Yeah, we should. See you later!" I called after her. Then I turned to Makayla. "What the hell was that? You hurt her feelings!"

"But... Makayla's always nice to me and Travis, I don't get it, why is she mean to you?" Kyler was still puzzled, his sisters attidude toward other people confused him, she was like his mom since they had came to camp and she was also nice to him as long as he didn't misbehave. She watched the girl walk away and turned to his sister, running over to her.
Makayla had reached out to grab Kyler's arm, but he was already over to the girl. She sighed and flipped so she was laying on her back, putting her arms behind her back as she looked at the sky, chuckling at Accalia's reply to Kyler. She would never change, she was perfectly fine with who she was. She shook her head at Summer. "You think I care? She should just suck it up. It's not like the Ares kids are any nicer, they get away with all their crap but when a daughter of Dionysus says something to hurt someones feelings its not okay."

I chuckled a bit. "The Ares kids? Not with me." I smiled evilly as I remembered how when they had teased an Apollo girl, I had...nevermind.
"But still, it wasn't fair to take your temper out on her."
