Quest of the century. (Quest)

Uriel's head snapped and he raised his arms, with that a shadow disk formed in front of him, blocking the spikes. Uriel then walked towards the two Manticores, holding Harper back he said "Go back to the hotel rooms, i'll handle these goons." Uriel then lifted his pearl up, but instead of squishing it using his hands he threw it in the ground and stepped on it, with that it turned to a straight sword with a golden handle, the handle had the face of an old man while the blade it self was gold yet it's center had a line that met with the tip of the blade glowing in red. It shone greatly that it was as if it was burning you.

Uriel lifted it with ease using only one hand, Uriel then grinned at the manticores and said "You have three seconds to leave before i go all Olympus on your sorry rear."

[Xenos Dhar]

"Now, now, put down the sword before you get hurt, kid." The second one growled. They were now on both sides of him. "Yes, we don't want to hurt you too much." The first one grinned, and without any warning four spikes flew at Uriel. He didn't even notice that the tail had moved.

Uriel's eye widened at the speed of the tail, immediately Uriel dropped to the ground, yet a spike sting some of his hair. Uriel then grunted and stood up as quickly and slowly his armor formed on his body, Uriel then dashed to the side with immense reflexes and speed, aiming to slash the manticore from the head.

[Harper Jones]

Harper silently swore as she started running towards the hotel. Weed Whacker was in the room, again. She was going to find a Hecate kid after this quest so she could make it mist-friendly. She grabbed Ophelia when she found her (because she was randomly there?) and Harper locked the two of them in the room and barricaded the door.
"Xenos and monsters are here," she said between shaky breaths. "Uriel... Uriel's taking care of them..."

[Xenos Dhar]

The second manticore leaped at Uriel, missing him, just as Uriel had attacked the first one. The first one dived back barely avoiding the sword. They growled at the son of Hades. They both sent four spikes each at Uriel, and one dived in front of him and the other behind.

"Wrong choice, buddies!" With that Uriel drove his sword to the ground, then a tractor beam of sort fired from in front of him and behind him. Uriel grinned and waited for the outcome but he was hit with one spike

The manticores laughed as they crumbled to dust. Then the poison from the spike hit Uriel. The wound burned like molten lava. "Hello again, Uriel." Xenos stood on a ledge above Uriel. "I had come to collect you, but I changed my mind. You will be much more useful to my like this. Don't forget that you'll be paralyzed like that for a while." The son of the night turned and shadow traveled away.

"Oh give me a break.." Uriel then crawled away and yelled "Harper help me gods dang it!" He yelled and laid on the beach, poisoned.

[Harper Jones]

Harper peaked out the window of the hotel room to see how the battle was progressing. The good news was that the monsters were gone. The bad news was that Uriel was on the ground and he looked injured.

"Harper to the rescue," she mumbled under her breath as she grabbed Weed Whacker and a bag of medical supplies. "I'll be back," she told Ophelia as she rushed out of the room and down to the beach.

"Ouch," she said as she knelt down besides Uriel and inspected the wound. It looked nasty. She pulled out a vial and poured it over the wound. "You're lucky I'm on the quest with you." She smirked. "Because you'd probably kiss a couple of girls and died without me."

Uriel closed his eyes as the pain sting. He then growled and said "Yeah, and you'd be Xenos prison ladies if it weren't for me. But still thanks." Uriel then sighed and stood, looking around he said "Turns out the entrance of Tartarus is nearing, we leave after five days."

[Harper Jones]

Harper rolled her eyes and nodded her head as she sat down next to him. She pulled her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on them. Her meeting with Xenos really bothered her. How did he know about Jethro?

"He really doesn't want us here, does he?" she asked Uriel, not really caring what his answer was.

"If you were commanding an army to protect one of the most essential monsters in your conquest to destroy Olympus, do you want to see three powerful demigods trying to kill that monster? No, well duh. Of course he doesn't want us here. But what could he do to stop us." He then sighed, with that loud music boomed. Uriel turned to see streaming lights firing in the sun set with attractive women and men dancing in bikinis and boxers.

Uriel grinned and shouted "BEACH PARTY!" With that he ran towards the crowd and started to party, but he stopped in mid tracks and motioned for Harper to join him.

[Harper Jones]

Harper sighed as she reluctantly got up from the ground and followed Uriel towards the group of people. She wasn't in any sort of mood to party. Mainly she wanted to go to sleep and think of about Jethro. Was that so much to ask for?

"Thanks," she said as she walked up to him with a half smile. Never in her entire life did she think she'd be thanking Uriel for something. But for some reason, she wasn't shocked.

"You okay, Harper?" He asked and stopped dancing. Uriel then tiled his head to the side and said Did Xenos pull out an offensive or a persona topic when you found out that he's here?" he then crossed his arms and waited for her answer

Harper crossed her arms and glanced off to the sides. She tried to find the right words to say. She ended up shaking her head and trying not to cry.
"He knew about Jethro," she said looking back at him. "And he tried to play off his death as a.. sacrifice to the gods... and it was all apart of destiny..." She shook her head some more as a hand ran through her hair. "He was trying to make me hate them for letting him die... It's no big deal... He was just trying to recruit me... again..."
