Lay All Your Love On Me (Xenos)

[Xenos Dhar]

Xenos barely caught her whisper before she buried her face into her shirt and started crying. His hand reached out to her shoulder and turned her around to hug her to his chest. He didn't say anything as he held her while she cried. He thought about the scar on her back and could understand why she didn't want him to see it, but he couldn't think of why she thought he would hate her because of it unless she still had some doubts about him on some level and that disturbed him. The Primordial child looked down at his girlfriend, trying to figure out what was bothering her about him.

And once again, she was crying into her boyfriend's chest, which she hated more than anything else. She moved the shirt slightly so she was nuzzled into his chest as she cried. She hated that S and she hated William and Uriel scarring her more than helping her. She hated being weak, but her mind didn't help by flashing memories of Hawaii over and over, especially during the times where Xenos held her hostage. But he was different now and she knew it. She took a shaky breath after a while before she slightly pulled away from his chest so she wasn't muttering into his chest. "I was marked a slut... people would judge me and hate me because of what I did..."

"Don't say that." Xenos told Harper quickly when she said she was marked as a slut, feeling a bit bad about what he said before when she was feeling this badly about herself because of the scar. "You're a beautiful and wonderful lady who happens to be my girlfriend, not a slut or anything close to that and you never will be to me." He told her with certainty. "Though I'm pretty certain your friend's back at camp are convinced that I have you here against your will as my sexy little concubine."

Harper took a couple of deep breaths before she opened her eyes and looked up at her boyfriend. It was somewhat funny that his earlier words hurt worse, but now she was feeling more comforted with these. She smiled slightly at him as she felt better with each passing word right before she broke down again. But this time laughing. "Your concubine?" she laughed as she shook her head. "I would hope that they would think of me higher than that." She stuck her tongue out at him as she giggled a bit. She sighed a bit more relaxed than before as she reached to brush away the dried tears on her face. "Thanks," she whispered as she moved to cuddle into his chest.

Xenos smiled when Harper started laughing, glad that he was able to comfort her about this whole mess. His arms held her tight as she cuddled into his chest. He still felt uncomfortable about her possible distrust of him, but decided that would get better over time. The son of the night moved to lay down on the bed and pulled her down to lay with him, looking down at her with a soft smile. "Hey, feeling better?" He asked her as he moved a hand to rest on her cheek. His thumb wiped away a few stray tears.

Harper was perfectly content laying down next to her boyfriend as she cuddled with him. At least things were better now, despite that the mood was completely ruined. She was going to kill William for that the next time she saw him, but all she knew was he hightailed it out of camp as soon as the battle was over. She pushed that thought out of her mind as Xenos wiped away her dried tears and she smiled up at him. "Yeah..." she whispered to him as she leaned up to gently kiss him on the lips. "I feel a lot better, thanks." She sighed slightly before she moved to lay her head down on his chest and close her eyes slightly.

Xenos smiled a little bit wider when she closed her eyes. His eyes closed as he remembered the scar on her back and what it meant to her and consequently lost the smile on his face. He really wanted to kill the people who had done that to her and really make them suffer before they died. The Primordial child opened his eyes and reached down to pull up the blanket to cover the both of them. He looked down at Harper and used her presence to help calm himself down, not wanting to let his anger get the better of himself right now.

Harper smiled to herself as Xenos pulled the covers over the two of them. She shifted slightly so that the sheets were comfortably tucked in around her as she cuddled up to her boyfriend. She yawned slightly feeling emotionally exhausted. She knew, however, that Xenos was probably be up for a while. "I'm tired," she whispered stating the complete obvious. She cuddled in even closer as she moved her head so it was on probably the most comfortable position on his chest. She sighed softly before she finally let her heavy eyelids fall completely close. It wasn't long before Harper was breathing softly as she dreamed about happy things.

Xenos sighed as Harper fell asleep while cuddling him. His arms practically cradled her against his chest, holding her close as she slept. He watched her as she slept, thinking about both what had happened and what had almost happened in the past few minutes. The son of the night kissed the top of Harper's head before closing his eyes and trying to get to sleep. He laid there for quite a while, finding sleep just out of reach. Xenos opened his eyes to look down at Harper once again, deciding to just lay there with her for now.
