Everything seemed to close in on her, she needed to get out. She already had on the loose black tunic and breeches, and she was just slinging her bow over her back when a knock sounded on her door. She cursed quietly as she quickly plaited her hair, pretending not to be there. "Trell?! Princess, I know you're in there! I can hear you moving!" She cursed again as she stood behind the door, opening it quickly. One of the knights moved inside and she shut the door just as quickly as she had opened it. "Oh no, Princess. You need to go to the Council Room." She scoffed at the words as she pulled out a few sheets tied together, preparing to throw it out of her window when the knight caught her arm. "Trell...It's your fathers orders. The envoy from--" Finally, she spoke up.
"I don't care what my father says! I'm not meeting another Royal family with another snobby Prince that my father wants me to marry! I want to go hunting!" Even dressed like commoner, she sounded like a Princess. Well...An annoyed Princess, but a Princess all the same. She had a weakness, though, the Knight was looking at her with pure desperation. He had been her friend since they were children, and she couldn't say no to him. "Fine..." She pouted, though, as she walked behind the changing screen. She easily slid out of the common clothes, before she struggled into the pale blue dress that had been slung over the screen. "Wear that one." Her friend said to her. She rolled her eyes but wiggled into it, happy the ties were on the front. The dress was simple, with pale blue silk and see through sleeves. She slid her silver slipped onto her feet before she stepped out.
She was unplaiting her hair as Cor came around her, weaving a circlet into her blonde curls. "There. That's better, now let's go before your father gets angry." Trell rolled her eyes again, but took his arm as he led her down the multiple corridors to the Council room. She averted her eyes from her father as she took her seat to his right. She kept her eyes cast down as she simply waited for the envoy.

Emily hated doing this, she doesn't enjoy being a royal and neither does her twin brother Roger. This trip to another kingdom was more or less a hope of an alliance and a marriage between Roger and the princess of that kingdom. At the moment, her father was worried that Roger won't find a queen and been trying to find him a wife and queen. However her father wasn't nearly as worried about Emily, though up till two months ago he was more worried about Emily than Roger. For he wanted to find a prince of a kingdom for her and two months ago he found just the prince, however Emily hasn't meet this so called prince yet. Emily was at least glad that Roger would meet this princess, despite that, Emily hated going to meet other royals. Nothing personally against any royal, it was just a pain to keep an image in one's own kingdom but it was even more of a pain to do it in another kingdom.
Before leaving for the kingdom that the servants made sure that both Emily and Roger were ready for the meeting. So Emily was wearing a purple dress and her brown hair was curled up and on top of her had was a circlet. Roger was dressed up his best clothing, Emily could tell he was having a hard time of trying to scratch himself from the itching of the clothing. Emily was also doing the same thing, thankfully the ride was not really long nor was it really short. When the carriage had stopped that they got out and went into the castle. None of them said anything as they walked thou the castle till they were in the council room. There was the king and apparently his daughter, Emily, roger and their father had walked up so that the greeting would be more proper.

Alliance meant death. The two kingdoms joined together by putting the children in wedlock would mean death for the resistance and everyone who even thought about it. Archer didn't need to be trained like one of their knights to know that. He considered himself lucky to be on this side. If his father hadn't died when he was young he probably would have finished his training to be one of the sword to the king. He would be fighting for that tyrant who sat upon the throne. Some had talked to him about the wedlock and how it could change everything. Those some were wrong. Archer had met the prince a couple times before. He was certain that the prince had a darker side. He was certain he had seen it. So he volunteered to the quest himself when it arose.
All he had to do was stop the agreement and put the two kingdoms at war. Any means necessary. He just had to select a position that made it easy to get where ever he wanted. So he chose a watchman from the north. Easy enough to fool that king. The outfit said more than enough, and a watchman had a position high enough to carry his sword anywhere. Hell, if he held a blank paper in his right hand, rolled up so they couldn't see it, and claimed he had news he could probably get right up to the lovebirds. He had no plan for the paper to be blank though. He just hoped he could get away.
"Pour me one." Archer lifted his head to a couple of the noble men sitting around a barrel. The assassin stood there waiting while his fur cloak waved lightly as his feet, a insignificant draft moving through the room. He felt rather uneasy about being there. Most watchman had a trusted dog or something while they hunted. Most kept the dog at their side to keep a state of safety in their mind. If this snowy mutt ignored him once though he would be in trouble. Finally a mug was passed to him and he accepted it graciously just as the doors council room opened. The noise in the room overcame the small click that came from beneath Archers cloak, making it inaudible. A click that came from the safety strap that held his sword in place when it was undone.

Trell absently tapped her fingers on the large chair she sat, until her father snapped at her to cut it out. she jumped and flinched at the sound of his voice, but did as he said. If there was one thing she knew how to do, it was stay on her father's good side. of course, when the doors opened, she straightened up, to act like the proper little Princess everyone wanted her to be. That's when her eyebrows raised. This...This boy! He looked no older than sixteen! She wouldn't marry someone that young, when she was coming up on twenty years herself. "Father, reconsider." She hissed to her father quietly, which earned her a firm glare. The king stood, then, arms spread. "Welcome!" He sauntered down the steps to clasp the other King's arm firmly. "Welcome to my home. May I introduce my daughter, Princess Trelliya." Of course, Trell rolled her eyes at the sound of her full name, but she stood and gave her curtsey like she knew she should.
All she wanted to so was get out of there. She sat back down and allowed her eyes to wander. She searched the room for Cor. he would help her escape..She knew it. He would take her back to her room, or at least help her get out of the castle until the visitors were gone. There was no way she was going to marry a mere boy. Much to her dismay, she saw Cor no where. He must have been guarding the room from the outside...

As Emily, Roger and her father reached the king and his daughter, of who was older than Emily and Roger by a good four years, that the king had stood up with his arms open and said welcome. The king had walked over to her father and clasped her father's arm and welcome them to his home and introduce them to his daughter, Trelliya. Trelliya had roles her eyes at that when Trelliya's father had used her full name, Emily couldn't blame her for it, with a name like that, like as if her given name was much better. "We are glad to be here. I would like to introduce you to my two children, my son Alexander and my daughter, Beatrice." Emily had also rolled her eyes when he said her name as well as Roger, neither one of them liked being called by their given names as well. Emily had to admit that Alexander fits Roger but she also liked the name Roger as well.
Emily has to admit that she wish that they would leave soon and not come back, for Emily was getting uncomfortable. Due to the facts she didn't want to be here, another she wanted to go to the forest and play around in it all day and that this was reminding her too strongly of when her father had told her that she was engaged to a prince that she never meant before. She only heard of this said prince, honestly she wasn't sure when she was suppose to marry him but she hoped it would be a while before that happens. If that was the case than she would have time to think of a way to get out of that arrangement and leave the royal life behind her for good.

This was disgusting. Even now the two kings were blind to everything that was happening in front of them? How could they possibly hope for reaching an agreement when the two royal heirs had nearly nothing in common. It was like trying to match a dog with a horse. The little boy would be in for a big surprise if he survived this. Responsibility was something that prince wasn't going to be able to handle. Then again...Alexander wasn't going to survive this. Archer was going to make sure of that. His right hand gripped the longsword handle at his belt and he swallowed the lump in his throat.
He had a couple ways out but he had to figure his own way in. "Have patience, Archer." He whispered to himself. He was starting to get upset about this. What were the kings thinking, trying to match up those two? He couldn't kill him now but he had to start getting closer. Keeping his hand on his sword, he began to walk around the side of the council room to avoid sight. Eventually he found a spot he liked and stood there for a moment. A good angle. If he took to the right then he cou- "She doesn't look like she consented to this..." A voice from his left mumbled out the words quiet enough so the conversation was private. Archer was more than surprised. He turned his head to see one of the royals drowning himself in the booze. "He's forcing her to marry a child!" The drunkard continued ranting about the wedding while Archer kept his mouth shut. If the man continued talking there was going to be trouble for everyone. Respectfully he gave a nod to any of the two families who looked his way.

She wanted to run. She needed to run. She couldn't stay in this room any longer, not with her father set for her to marry a child! She would be punished, she would be harshly punished, but she saw Cor standing just inside the doorway, and knew that it was time for her escape. She noticed, though, that the child's sister was nearly as uncomfortable as Trell was, but there was nothing she could do, there. She waited for the introductions to be over before she stood. Her father glared at her, but she didn't care. "I will have no part in this!" She hissed at him before she gathered the bottom of her dress and ran.
She ran right out of her jeweled slippers, but she didn't seem to care. Cor had stepped outside of the room so the King would not see him, but as soon as she was out the door he had her arm, leading her outside to the training area, the only place her father never looked for her. The fields were no place for a Princess, so why ever would she be there? She only calmed down as she pushed into Cor's tent, a sigh escaping. She wasn't marrying a child. She'd leave if she had to, for good.

Emily wanted and needed to get out of there, she could tell that Roger needed to get out of there too. Before leaving their castle that Emily and roger had decided on something, that was if their father was set on having Roger marry the princess that they would kill each other right there and there. After the fretting, it was clear that their father still wanted the two get married. However the princess said she will have no part in this and left. Roger had than looked up at their father and spoke. "Neither will I." Roger pulled put a dagger and put the dagger right where his heart and fell down died. Emily had pulled out her own dagger and did the same and fell down died next to Rogee.

Wait...What? Archer stood there trying to comprehend the scene that had just played through before him. Well this was no good. How was he supposed to advance in rank if they did his mission for him?! He raised a hand to his forehead as medics rushed to the two dead royal children and the king and queen began to burst into a fit over their dead children. The other king on the other hand instantly reacted to his daughter running, ordering guards left and right to find his daughter. Well this was his perfect chance to escape, so he could plan for a second attempt to stop this salvageable treaty. Safely place the strap over his sword again, the assassin began to the door until the king called out for the watchman. He paused and turned towards the man, wincing at the sound of his shouts to go and find his child.
"Of course, Milord. I live to follow your orders." His voice loud enough for the entire room to hear him. The smallest hint of a smirk rose on his face as he slowly began to see the opportunity in front of him. Like every other guard the 'watchman' drew his sword and dagger and started to move through the group of people huddling around the girl and boy, making sure he was seen as he stepped up behind the mourning king and swiftly placed his blade at his throat before pulling it away and bolting for the door shouting a warcry for his supposed kingdom as he ran. A clear escape. The guards were everywhere but that room so he just had to slip out while they looked for the girl. A quick assessment of the kingdom gave him one escape route. Only one, where none of the guards were bothering to go. Archer on the other hand...

She lost grip of her skirts as she ran, tumbling onto her face. She had started into a full on sprint when she had heard the screams, shouts, and metalic clangs behind her. Cor was just a little ways in front of her, but she still couldn't keep up, and when she fell, he kept running. She tried her hardest to pick herself up, but something was wrong with her foot. She could hear the door slamming behind her, knowing that someone was coming. She could still hear her father's words booming through the corridor. "Find her!" He was shouting. They were going to come after her. Her father would lock her in her room, or in that horrid cell again. Beat her until she couldn't stand so she remembered her place.
She could feel the tears stinging her eyes as she quickly wiped them away. No. She had to get away. Had to run. Thankfully, Cor had come back for her, and helped her all the way to the training field. When she was safely inside his tent she limped to the small trunk in a corner. Cor turned his back while Trell struggled with the great dress she wore, before slipping into a dark purple tunic and black breeches. She tied everything together with a sword belt, and swirling her braid into her head so it wouldn't get in the way if there was a problem.
"Cor..This isn't good.." She whispered to him as she limped to the flap of the tent. She was going to be caught..Her father would probably beat her so hard this time, she wouldn't wake up. She needed an escape, a way out. "I'm going for the horses, M'Lady." Trell nodded as she slowly pulled a dagger out of a smaller slit in the belt, mostly for comfort. She didn't feel safe with him gone, who knew what could happen now...

One of the servants run out after the princess, he was in there long enough to see the two royal children kill themselves. The princess was in so much trouble not just by her father but by the king and queen and the kingdom itself. For she hadn't run than the two royal children wouldn't have killed themselves, she really needed to think before she act if and when she becomes a queen of the kingdom. He saw her with Cor and saw her going into the tent and Cor leaving the tent not long after that. The servant had went in her and saw that the princess change her outfit and the servant spoke. "Your highness you are in so much trouble. Not only with your father but with the king and queen of the other kingdom and most likely with your own kingdom. Because you ran out the two royal children had killed themselves. Your kingdom, the other kingdom and your father may want to kill you for daring to leaving like that causing the two royal children to kill the selves."

The screams and clanging of metal against metal echoed behind him as he slowed his step to turn around. He wasn't being followed? That was strange. Maybe a fight in the room broke out with everything going on. Perhaps the war had just gotten a bit bigger. Fantastic! He still had to get out though before everything was locked down. Archer sheathed his dagger and sword and held onto the sheath of his sword before breaking out into a run again, moving swiftly towards the training grounds. It was starting to get really easy. There had to be some kind of bad luck that would come his way right?
This adrenaline wasn't going to disappear on its own. After a couple hundred feet though he saw just what he had been expecting. A knight, coming his way. A highly decorated one too. But...nothing happened. The knight saw him of course, the even passed each other and looked into one another eyes but nothing happened. It was as if he had more important things on his mind. As he neared the tent he watched as a servant girl walked into a tent on the training grounds in a rush and he couldn't help but have his interest piqued.
No time unfortunately. Ignoring the talking in the tent he walked over to one of the closest weapon racks and slung a large bundle of crossbow bolts over his shoulder and ripped a crossbow from the rack with his other hand, ignoring the racket he made as weapons fell freely. He needed a horse or something. Archer stopped, taking a minute to catch his breath before looking around for anyone with a free rid- There was that knight again and he was pulling two horses with him now. This was too easy. "Looks like the gods favor me today." He grinned as he pulled a bolt from his crossbow and began to load the weapon.

Now she had had enough. She spun around, pointing the tip of her sword at the boys chest. "I have no time for your petty words. Let them kill each other. They will not have me this day." With no warning, she ran the boy through, grabbing the satchel off of the ground next to her. She pushed out of the tent just in time to see someone ducking around with a crossbow. A crossbow that was pointed at Cor..
The grip on her sword tightened before she grabbed her dagger from her belt. She threw it with ease, aiming for the man's arm. "Cor!" She shouted to the knight, who instantly started to run towards the Princess. She, on the other hand, was making her way to the other man, using all of her strength to try and knock the crossbow out of his hands with her sword. "Who are you?!" She shouted loudly at him, anger clearly written on her face. He had almost lost her the one chance for escape.

Archer had no initial intention to shoot the knight. He just wanted the horses. So he waited calmly, even when things sounded like they were getting heated inside the tent. Then the distinct sound of slicing and liquid pouring onto the ground made him take a few cautious steps to the side to try and keep himself from being seen. That didn't work so well. In only a couple of seconds one of the tent flaps flew open and some girl running out of the tent. Stupidly, he ignored it. It couldn't have been that big a deal. Murder like that happened all the time in this damned kingdom.
Then it happened. A white flash in the flew towards him suddenly, the air screaming as the metal moved faster than he could react. At first he didn't feel the line that suddenly opened across his arm. When he did, his eyes had already seen the red. In pain his focus jumped to the red gash on his arm and he opened his mouth to yell when a blade struck out, connecting with the tip of the weapon, successfully knocking the crossbow from his fingers. "You littl-" Before her blade could move again he ripped his sword from his sheath, using that momentum to try and strike the blade in her hands. He didn't want to hurt her, but this woman had probably just sent his escape plan to hell.

The blood from the poor serving boy had not yet dried, and now her sword had tasted more. She stood her ground, though, jumping back as he tried to disarm her. His sword caught hers, but she did not let go, only felt the beginnings of a headache as the metal sent vibrations through her. She set her face into a glare, angry that her braid had fallen down. She repositioned her sword, so it was pointed at his throat. "You'd best mind your tongue before I cut it out." She wanted to stab him. She wanted him dead. He had threatened her, it was only right. "M'Lady! That's enough!" She seemed to be snapped back into reality at the words.
Cor was only feet away from her now, the horses by his side. "We need to go, it's not safe anymore. The children took their lives." Now, the fear was in her eyes. It was her fault. She had caused this. If she had just...Stayed there...Dealt with her father's stupid idea, the poor children would still be alive. She cursed softly and shook her head as she began to back up, away from the man. That was when she noted just how bad his arm was.
"Cor...He needs to come with us. He's seen too much, he'll watch where we're going. And he's injured." But of course, Cor would hear none of it. "M'Lady, it's not wise. You don't know this man." She sent him a fierce glare as she sheathed her sword, grabbing her dagger from the ground. "You will come with us. Get on the back of my horse." Her voice was stern as she grabbed the reigns of the white horse, climbing onto its back. She simply waited to see if this man was stupid enough to disobey her or not.
