Us against the world [Gideon/Goddesses]

This was the hardest thing Princess had ever had to do. She thought she loved him. She felt it in her heart, even if it wasn't that strong yet. She knew she cared for him a great deal, though. Cared for him enough to put everything she had just achieved on the line to be with him. She only hoped that he wouldn't get sick of her. She couldn't stand it if she gave it all up for nothing.

She took a deep breath as she pressed herself against the back of the cabin. She had been able to avoid people since she left the Wall, and that was what she wanted. She lifted a window in the back and slipped in, landing perfectly on her feet without a dent on her. She gave a small sad smile at the thought that she probably wouldn't have that anymore if the Lady Artemis caught her. She couldn't think about that now, though. She needed to see him.

She stepped into the bunk area of the cabin, looking around for him. It was completely empty. She remembered which bed was his from when she told him the news, so she went to it. She couldn't help but worry. She wondered where he was, if he was safe, if he was even still alive.

Gideon walked out of the Ares cabin bathroom wearing nothing but his shorts. His footsteps stopped as soon as he saw Pri. A small smile appeared on his face before walking into her line of sight. "Hi, there." He said as he moved to pull her into a hug. "I missed you, beautiful." His eyes closed as he buried his face into her hair. Most of his bandages were gone now, revealing a large number of scars from all the wounds he had gotten. The son of Ares pulled away after a while to give her a wide grin. "How have you been?"

Princess had sat and waited patiently for Gideon to return, but she had not known he was in the bathroom. When he came out, she instantly wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug, nuzzling her face into his neck. "I missed you too." She whispered to him gently before she pulled back, finally taking a good look at his chest. He was covered in scars and bruises, and it broke her heart a little more. She gave him a small smile before she placed a gentle kiss to his cheek. "I've been worried about you." She whispered before she pulled him into another hug. Being without him killed her, and at that moment, she didn't care what happened to her. She wanted to be with him, no matter the outcome.

"I'm sorry." Gideon muttered as he buried his face back into her hair, inhaling her scent as he took a deep breath. "I didn't mean to worry you." His arms held her close as he moved his lips to kiss her cheek and neck. "I was worried about you too, Pri." He admitted as he placed kisses all over her neck. "I hated being away from you for so long. I felt like I was going to go insane." The wanderer whispered in between kisses as his lips make their way to hers, kissing her neck as he moved them. Finally, after the longest time, he kissed her hard.

The feeling of happiness was growing inside of her as he held her, giving her those adorable little kisses. She ran her hands over his arms slightly. "You have no need to worry about me." She whispered slightly right before he kissed her. She kissed him back deeply, holding him even tighter to her. Butterflies flew through her stomach as she kissed him. The feeling of being with him was enough to keep her sane for the rest of her life. Even if something horrible happened to her if they were caught, the simple thought of knowing he cared so much was enough to keep her going.

Gideon deepened the kiss even further, pushing his tongue into her mouth as he picked her up. Everything else was drowned out by the woman in his arms. His mind ignoring all the worries and pains of the world. He sat her down on his bed before moving his lips to kiss her neck, sucking and nibbling on the crook of her neck. The son of Ares pulled away from Pri to smile at her. "What took you so long?" He asked her before going back to kissing her neck hard, trying to avoid giving her a hickey. His hands moved to explore her body, loving the feel of it.

Artemis knew something was up. The goddess had a sense that one of her hunters, her Deputy Hunter none the less, was falling in love. She kept an eye on her as she entered the Ares cabin. And then they kissed and that was the last straw for her. She magically appeared in the cabin in the main room with her arms crossed. She appeared as her younger self, but she still meant business. "It looks like one of my Hunters has broken my oath," she said coldly as she glared at the both of them. She lifted her hand up as it had a strange maroon aura around it. "I guess there will be two more jackalopes added to the population tonight."

Princess couldn't help but giggle against his lips as he picked her up to put her on the bed. He had a tendency to do that, but she loved it. When he pulled his lips away she gave a little whine, but she laughed at his words. "It's hard to sneak over here without anyone seeing me. Plus, I had to crawl through a window, I could've gotten my shoes muddy." She stuck her tongue out at him before he started on her neck. She was so wrapped up in just being with him and being happy, she didn't even sense her Lady appearing. But as soon as she heard the voice, she pushed Gideon away from her, her eyes wide and scared.

In an instant, she was off the bed and on the floor, kneeling in front of the Goddess. She was surprised that she was in her younger form for an issue like this. But she could see the glow around her hand, and the fear filled her. She pushed it away, though. She couldn't let Gideon see her scared. "My Lady Artemis, I beg of you. Do not harm him. Let him leave and live his life. Punish me, for it was my fault. I took my oath without thinking it through. I was rash and naive to think I was ready to take on the job, I had not truly thought of what I was giving up." Her head was bowed, and tears were starting to sting at her eyes, but she kept her composure. She had to keep Gideon safe, even if something horrible were to befall her.

Gideon glared at the goddess, hating everything Artemis meant or stood for. His hands curled into fist. It was taking all of his willpower not to just walk up to the goddess in little girl form and just punch her. His breathing slowed down to deep angry breaths. Then Pri decided to try and take all the blame herself and that was the last straw. "No! I won't let that happen." He nearly shouted in response to Pri's little speech. "If anyone is taking the blame, it's going to be me. I'm not going to let her get punished on my behalf. It's my fault, Artemis. Punish me and leave her alone."

Aphrodite for a reference

Aphrodite popped in and stood in front of the two, smirking at her fellow goddess. "Ah, Artemis..what a... lovely meeting" she said sarcastically as she looked at the hunters, sending her a slight glare then to back at artemis. "I'm sorry to disappoint you and your jackalopes but I'm afraid by order of the gods agreement to go into others domains, you may not harm these two." She said with a smirk, it was to fun to prove her wrong. "You see even if she is a hunter She is in Love with this boy, Same for him, There for I am their protector" She turned away from her fellow goddess and looked at the two "Stand up girl, No need to kneel there like a fool. Go stand next to him." She said as she looked at artemis again. "Do you dare question my domain?"

Princess wanted to slap Gideon when he spoke up, but she stayed on her knees, hoping that the Lady heard her plea. She was ready to give up and just start fighting for her life when another voice joined the fray. Her head snapped up at the voice, shocked at who she saw and what she was hearing. Love? Was she really in love with Gideon? She wanted to slap herself. Of course she was. That's what she had been feeling. When Aphrodite told her to go to him, she wasted no time. She jumped to her feet and ran over to him, grabbing his hand and holding it tight. "You're a fool." She whispered to him before she gave his hand a squeeze. She stood close to him, shaking slightly. She was afraid of what could happen with the two Goddesses..

Artemis smirked to herself as the two lovebirds before her started pleading not be turned into jackalopes. Little did they know that Artemis did not take it easy when her oath was broken? "Well then," she chuckled to herself as the maroon glow on her hand turn an intenser shade. "I guess you two can be lovers in jackalope form."

But then somebody decided to interfere. Aphrodite. Artemis lowered her hand as she glared at the other god. "No," she said coolly. "I do not question your domain, but there's one little problem even if it does fall under your domain." She threw the maroon glow from her hands to the bed behind the two lovebirds. The piece of furniture turned into a jackalope and scurried out of the cabin before anyone could catch it.

"She," she said as she pointed at Princess, "has broken my oath, Aphrodite. She has not turn her back on the company of men and accepted eternal maidenhood. There are consequences to breaking my oath." Her hand glowed maroon again. "And she must be punished for her actions. Along with him, since he has enabled for this to happen."

Gideon smiled when she took his hand, pulling her as close as he possible could without hugging her outright. His mind had just barely put together what Aphrodite had said and realized it was true. He is in love with Pri, and that is what had made him so desperate to have her near him lately. His arm moved to wrap around her shoulders, hugging her tight just before his bed turned into a jackalope. He cursed as he watched it run out of the cabin. The son of Ares glared at Artemis' words, not liking what they could mean for Pri.

Aphrodite smirked as she nodes "Of course dear, I understand but i'm here to work a deal instead." She said as she snapped her fingers and two doves came out of no where and took her shawls, a sign that she was showing weakness that The other goddess much match. She looked at the two lovebirds and shook her head "Sorry about that dear, shes done worst though." She said as she gestured to another bed close by, "Please, sit" She said sweetly as, knowing they would do as she said, before turning back at Artemis" Now Lady Artemis, I'm sure we can work something out. I offer a simply deal." She said simply as she gestured to the young, naive huntress. This wasn't the first time they have met like this "Something is special about this one, How about instead of turning someone close to them into a deer like normal, How about you take away the oath and send them on their way and forget about yet another confused girl who joins your force. And i shall Swear upon the river styx, I shall..well not make this two and their newly found love" She said, shooting the two a smirk. What, she couldn't have fun?

Princess was so thankfull for Aphrodite she could've cried. But she gave a little jump when Gideon's bed was turned into a Jackalope. She would have to hunt it down later, maybe keep it as a pet...She blinked back to reality as Gideon held her. She wrapped her arms around him tightly, still shaking slightly. She could feel him tense, knew the realization was hitting him too. They were in love. Plain and simple. And nothing could change that, no matter what Artemis did to them. "Whatever happens, we're in this together." She whispered to him before Aphrodite spoke up. Pri instantly nodded, not wanting two Goddesses mad at her. She pulled Gideon to the other bed, sitting down. She still sat close to him, still holding him tightly.
