John ducked into the Arts Building. He managed to tick off a couple of Ares kids and they were looking for blood. He didn't do anything to them. One just pointed at him and said, "You're that guy from the store! I can't buy clothes without seeing your half-naked body!" Then they charged.

And that's how John ended up here. The Ares kids would not even think about looking in here. He sat down on a bench and started playing with the brushes. Just wait it out, John... wait it out...

Marius was irritated. Someone had disarmed his pitfalls, and he needed to find out who. He walked into the art building and pulled out the mask and hoodie of the joker from their hiding spot. The son of Hermes looked around, and his eyes fell on some pretty boy looking at him. He cursed silently. Marius walked up to the other camper. "Hi, I'm Marius. What's your name?"

John was caught off-guard and held a brush he was playing with out in front of him like a sword. But it was some guy, not an Ares kid. The guy decided to approach him with what looked like a mask and hoodie. Interesting storage place for them.
"John Peters," he said still keeping his brush in front of him. "And you're not here to shank me because of the advertisements, right?"

"Ads? No, don't watch them anyways." Marius grinned at John. Not that I had any sort of tv growing up. A sour look briefly crossed his face. "I only shank people who attack me." He pulled out a few knives for emphasis. "So you're safe for now." He looked at John quizzically. "Is that why you're here? Someone after you?"

John nodded his head. "Yep. Managed to get a bunch of Ares kids mad at me." He shrugged. "Apparently they didn't like seeing me in their favorite stores or something." He looked down at the stuff in Marius's hand. "What are those? Costume pieces?"

"Closer to disguise." Marius grinned at the other boy. "They help keep me out of trouble." He looked around to make sure no one else was there. "But don't tell anyone else, or you're going to be in trouble with me." He started to pull the hoodie on.

John raised his eyebrows as he watched Marius put on the hoodie. Disguise pieces? Why would he need disguise pieces, unless.... oh... He nodded his head.
"I won't tell anyone. You're secret of being L&J is safe with me. And P.S., that prank on my cabin was really good. Took us a full day to clean it up."

Marius glared at John. "L&J, who's that?" His eyes were cold now. "I don't know anything about that. I'm the Joker." Marius did not like being mistaken for someone else, and he was ticked about it. "So, tell me who are L&J?"

John did not like being cornered like this. But apparently there were two sets of pranksters running around camp now. "Nobody knows," he started off. "They've been pranking the camp for... a couple of months now? I think someone said it's two Hermes kids. But nobody has seen their faces. They're really good. Always spray paint their name on something whenever they prank."

"I can tell you, it's not the Hermes cabin." Marius looked around before putting on the mask. "My cabin mates are just lazy bumps on a log." The Joker grinned at John. "Now if you keep quiet about this, I may go easy on your cabin." The son of Hermes quickly checked outside the art building before heading for the back door.

John slowly nodded his head as he watched Marius/Joker walk out of the Arts Building. He probably wouldn't tell anyone. It was enough trying to clean up his cabin the last prank. And his siblings would probably blame him, again. They always found a reason for it to be his fault.

"Don't worry," he mumbled as he started playing with the brushes again. I wonder how much longer I have to wait until the Ares cabin gives up their manhunt...

Marius stuck his head back in real quick. "Hey, do you know Charlotte Low?" His voice was a bit muffled. "I need someone to keep her busy tomorrow. Could you do me a favor, and do that for me?" He grinned at the thought of the upcoming prank on the Apollo cabin.

John raised his eyebrows at Marius/Joker. "She's my girlfriend," he said defensively. "Are you planning on pranking her or something?" He started to feel a bit overprotective. He knew that Charlotte could take a prank, but he felt like he should protect her from threats like him. "If you are, you better think twice, buddy."

"Do you really think you can stop me?" Marius' mere voice sounded like a challenge. He glared at John, and walked up to the other boy. "You can't stop me." The Joker pronounced with a laugh. "Now, don't make it hard on yourself and just stay out of my way." the Joker turned around, and walked towards the back door again.

"Hang on," John growled at Marius and marched towards him. He placed a hand on Marius's shoulder and spun him around. "You put one hand on my girlfriend and you're dead. Mark my words. I've killed a couple of minotaurs, so killing you would be a piece of cake."
