It was Devins first EVER meal at camp half blood and he was determined to make sure everybody knew it. Danny had led him to the mess hall and Devin found the Hermes table. He automatically stood on top of the table and threw his hands up in the air.
"Hello camp half blood! I am a new member of the camp and i'd just like to meet every single one of you. Be aware that I am single. But don't rush! I am very excited to eat lunch with you all today!" He jumped down from the table and sat on the bend. He ignored the shaking heads of Danny from the Ares table.

Maggie had been peacefully sitting at her table, eating supper when some kid stood on a table, scaring the crap out of her and making her drop her sandwich, she quickly stood up and turned to him, half glaring, half smiling, she wasn't usually the devilish type, but when some kid announced he was single, it was obviously an Aphrodite's job to tell him how this place runs. She started her rant as she walked over to his table and leaned on it over to him. "I'm not your typical Aphrodite, but I think you might want to know our rules. We're the matchmakers here, nobody falls in love without one of us knowing and it takes just one of us to turn around and split a couple up. So you don't just announce your single, kid, we'll do that for you." She turned back around, with a wink at him and walked straight bazck to her table, giggling lightly.

"Woah..." It was just Devins luck. The first girl to pay him any mind was a smoking hott firey red-head Aphrodite. Could things be any better on his first day at this wonderful place? Now the question was-did he walk over there and talk to her more or did he stay put. Well, she was obviously about to tell the other Aphrodite girls about the fact that he was next in line for their matchmaking deal. Although the breaking up thing did sound a little harsh. If only he could get an Aphrodite girl, then Danny and Danks couldn't make fun of him. Janessa would never let you live it down. He waved the thought out of his head with a physical wave of his hand. Sadly, he was looking right at the girl as he waved and it looked like he was waving her back over to his table. Craaaap.

Maggie had sat down at her table, still in a fit of giggles. She had been mostly acting though it was true the Aphrodites were the matchmakers of camp, she had really only done that to prove to her siblings she wasn't completely different from them, but she wondered if the boy knew that. She took a deep breath to calm herself down, she always went into giggles after one of her little preformances.
Taking a bite out of her sandwich again, she looked behind her at the boy, to see him waving her over. She almost spit her bite of lunch out in surprise. Seting it down and swallowing the bite she had took, she walked over, a confident act on her face. "Hi." She smiled and thought a moment before saying another thing. "Huh, well, I guess before was actually quiet rude, didn't even tell you my name... I'm Margaret Tracer, but call me Maggie." She gave her full blown dazzling smile, teeth and all. "Welcome to camp." She looked back at her table, most of it's oucupents were giggling uncontrollabling and Maggie just made a face at them.

there's somethin' 'bout the way
the street looks when it's just rained , .Luna.Angel.Tashio.I sat at the table and giggled at Maggie. I was gently fingering my pearl necklace that my boyfriend gave me. I looked over at the Posidean table and smiled at my boyfriend [/color] and I don't know how it gets better than this

Rosalyn rolled her bright green eyes good naturally as her half brother stood up at their table. He was embarrassing them. She wasn't even going to bother to tell him to sit down. From what she had seen so far, he was flirting with an Aphrodite girl. And now he invited her over? Rosalyn looked up from her food with an amused look on her face. She was curious to see how this would turn out. |

Danny looked over at Rosalyn, he was excited to actually have siblings for once and he couldn't wait to officially meet them all. He was quite stunned by the amused look on her face and was about to ask her why she was making it when the Aphrodite girl walked back over. Okay, maybe accidently waving was a stroke of luck, go with it/ He told himself. He leaned one elbow on the table and rested his chin on it when she made he was to him
The girl sure was pretty and Devin definitely noticed, the closer she got the more confident she looked. And that firey red hair drew Devin in like a magnet. When the girl paused after saying hi he considered jumping in but he let her finish first. He smiled and tried to avoid Rosalyns gaze, she was probably laughing her head of inside her mind. "Best welcome I've got all day," His three best friends would kill him for saying that, "I'm Devin Rose. Son of Hermes. Obviously...." He was starting to loose his cool, so he decided to change positions, lifting his arms and placing them both behind his head. "Been here long, Maggie?" He asked her.

Dawn decided to get some lunch after getting lost for a while, it took her twenty minutes to fine the mess hall, who knew it was the big building in the middle of camp! She went in her normal way, though a random bush at the far end of the mess hall, then stRted fo skip to her table, unaware of a killer rock being in her way. And of course. Being dawn. She tripped over the tiny rock. She just ignored the ares cabins laughing at her, and pop back up, and went straight to her table, grabbing some monster shape Mac and cheese, giving half to the gods then started eating like nothing happened.

Maggie rolled her eyes at him, it was your typical answer from a boy, though she couldn't help but smile. "And that was the most cheesiest line I've heard in my life. I'm sorry, I'm an Aphrodite kid, not an air head." She laughed and again looked back at her table glaring directly at Luna. Gaah, when will they stop giggling! It's seriously throwing me off here! Besides, it's just a guy! She mentally screamed and looked back over at Devin. "Nice to meet you Devin. And yes, quiet long. Seven years in fact. I'm a year rounder." Hhmm, this was actually quiet nice, at least Devin hadn't brought up some stupid fact about him, like he was a model, or he was rich. She hated when people bragged about stop like that, it just annoyed her.
She raised her eyebrows as she heard someone fall and turned around to see a girl on the ground. Most of her cabin was laughing and that was pretty much all you could hear from the Ares kids, she was about to walk over and ask if she was okay when she just... Got up. "Okay then...." She muttered and turn back to Devin. "So, how's camp been so far?" She asked.

Devin gave a mock bow, "Thank you, Thank you. My friend say I am the King of Cheesy lines. Eh, I try." Nice save, he thought. His stomach growled, and he was starving. But he had no idea what to do to get food around here and he felt stupid asking. In all honestly being in this new place was really confusing, but there was no way he was showing that. He nodded quickly, "Seven years?! Wow. Well. It's my first day, like I said." He glanced around for a moment.
Then suddenly a girl fell into the cafeteria. Literally fell. He stood up immediantly and watched her go to a table with a lot of flowery looking people at it. He heard the Aphrodites and the Ares laughing at her. A few other people were too but they got over it quick. He looked across the table and noticed that Maggie was standing too. He raised an eyebrow at her, "It's been....good. Should we go...make sure that girl isn't hurt? I dunno." He shook his head and sat down. His savior complex was something that always threw off his 'devil-may-care' groove.

John couldn't help but roll his eyes as the scene unfolded in front of him.
"He acts like he's famous or something," he muttered to his siblings and they just snickered. He laughed at the Hermes kid until he saw DC trip, got back up and walked over to her table. "I'll be back," he told his siblings as he walked over to the Demeter table.
"Hey, DC. You okay? That was some trip you had."

Dawn looked up at him, Mac and cheese hanging out of her mouth. She nodded, wiping her mouth on a napkin and nodded again "ya I'm fine, just a little messed up" she said and looked at her knees, which were bleeding. She patted next to her and giggled a little "you can sit, Harper still isn't back yet so no food fights"

John looked around making sure that Chiron wasn't around since sitting at other cabins' tables were taboo.
"So, you heard about that?" he chucked as he sat next to her. "Took me a good couple of hours to wash those mashed potatoes out of my hair." He looked down at DC's knees and frowned. "Do you need to go to the infirmary or something to get patched up?"
