Personality
Looking at Alex you would think that she was a cold and uncaring person. She knows this as well, as she doesn't usually have her emotions displayed on her face. However, when you get past the cold looking exterior, you'd find that Alex is actually a pleasant person. One of the things you notice first is that she is enthusiastic and fun loving. She loves doing anything that could even be slightly risky, she always is ready to go and try anything on a whim. Her mother always tells her that it's that part of her personality that will be her downfall, and no doubt her lack of self control is a big fatal flaw for herself.
Alex can be very talkative as well. At home, she tends to be the “entertainment” at the dinner table and often speaks with her hands. She flits from subject to subject and knows a little about a lot of different things. Because of her quirky habit of talking a lot, she sometimes ends up saying random things that people either find odd or funny. And although she has many fun and outgoing parts to her personality, she also has serious parts as well.
Many different times, Alex has found herself being very observant of her surroundings. Whether it be her environmental surroundings or the people around her, she finds that she is abnormally alert and focused, which is very odd considering her ADHD that makes her attention span the size of a peanut. However, because she can be observant, she can tell when someone is moody or sad, which brings out her kind side that wants to help people out.
Now so far, almost everything about Alex has been sunshine and daisies, when in fact it isn't. Alex has a quick and short temper, it doesn't show up often but when it does, well, let's just say that an angry Alex can be a scary Alex. Along with her temper, she can get very defensive. They almost seem to go together, she only really gets angry when her family and friends are threatened or when she herself is threatened.
