She didn't know what to do with herself. She'd already changed her style. Her heels had gotten higher, her skirts and dresses shorter, her shirts smaller. She was trapped inside of her own head, and this was her only way to cry for help. She had no friends. She couldn't just up and talk to someone about it. Hailey would never understand the situation, and no one else would believe her.
It sucked, though, being single. She'd finally thought she'd found the one for her. They they were destined to be together. She risked her life to be with him, and then everything changed. He grew cold and distant. He wanted her to abandon her family when they needed her the most. If she was truly in love with him, she would have given up everything and just run away, but she hadn't. She'd let him go. And by letting him go, she fell into a rut.
Hour after hour she stood at the outdoor forge, not wanting to be around her siblings inside. She tinkered and tinkered until her fingers bled, and even then, she tinkered some more. Her arms were completely covered in thin burns from stray coils that had just come from the fire, or stray sparks. Her fingers were wrapped with bandages, but they were ripped and bloodsoaked, since she kept working herself to the bone. The heel of her left shoe had broken off from the pressure of standing on it for so long, her clothes stuck to her with sweat, her hair was actually up in a pony tail instead of slowing down her back.
With a groan of frustration, she kicked off her heels, which only made her groan again. She was a short girl, and now it was going to be hard to reach anything. She silently cursed herself for being so stupid. On more than one occasion she'd thought about rejoining the Hunters, hoping that Artemis would take her back. She'd crossed that off of her list, though. She was too much of a hopeless romantic, now, to even think of swearing off men.
With a loud sigh, she looked down at her crafting table. She'd already made multiple baskets of hand crafted jewelry, yet she had nothing to do with it. She wasn't good at making weapons, but there was nothing else she could do. Making things kept her mind off of everything bad in the world. Screw it all. She would just sneak out of the camp and go sell it somewhere. Sell them to a vendor or something. She knew she couldn't risk being out there herself for too long, so it would have to do.
She got to work on hammering out some more wire. With this new mission in mind, she would start working on some necklaces. Maybe she could give the money she earned from the jewelry to Chiron to help with the camp renovations.

It was not surprising waking up in the Hephaestus cabin, she had no idea how she got there, yet there was some slight memories rushing to her head. But as quickly as she woke up she grabbed a slightly greased and big shirt that could fit two Adenas'. She slowly put on her underwear, which was the only clothing she could find and finally put on the shirt she had grabbed. Tip toeing outside she left in a hurry to wherever she found herself.
It had been a long night, she remembered. She took some beer, well a lot but remembered to also take water to not get a hangover and then she started making out with Ares kids, only leave them when she got annoyed because they think it's intimidating when a girl's cool with her sexuality. By being a daughter of Eros, it is just a given thing. But really making out with some of them and then Adena taking control was pretty feminine for them. So Adena took off her clothing to show them what they were missing out on and ditched them for a Hepheastus kid.
Oh the adventures she had in that cabin, not only with sexy men but with the girl she has sworn to never speak of her, in fact just thinking about her was a crime against her own laws of mind. Getting rid of the sour-sweet memory she thought of the lust she had gotten, only if her brother saw her by going back to her cabin she would get lectured again. And she did have to meet someone about her charm bracelet being turned into a weapon at the forges. She had already slept with him so why get all dolled' up for nothing?
Walking to the Forges was not easy without shoes, but her face was fabulous as always, and she did not look like someone who just woken up, obviously she knows how to get herself looking hot without even trying, its just a 'gift'. Her messy hair looking good, her face flawless and her long legs just there under the shirt that finished under her thighs.
After the walk there she found a pretty short human. Not anyone else but that person. "Great." She muttered to herself, her appointment should be in that hour maybe he was just running late, so she just walked forward to the little human and looked around. The jewelry was beautiful and it reminded her of a piece she had, when she used to be friends with-. "Princess!" She said in a cocky and hateful voice. As if her words were venom. "Long time no see." Time to play her bitchy role. "It's as if it were yesterday you ran off with the Huntress. Swearing off love, right?" She flipped her hair and got in front of her and her table full of pretty shiny things. Hiding her mocking smirk of her being so short.

Princess had thought her life couldn't have gotten any worse. She thought too soon. The voice that hit her ears made her tense, her hand tightening on her hammer. "Adena." The name escaped her lips in a hiss. They were once inseperable, doing almost everything together. Literally everything. Though she would never speak of her one night of weakness when she couldn't find a guy and Adena was there for her, as always. Then World War Goddess happened, and everything changed. "Yes..Long time, indeed." She replied before she resumed her hammering. As she hit the hammer to the coil she was stretching, the end flew up, hitting her wrist. She hissed again, this time in pain. She took only a second to shake out her wrist before she went back to her work. There was no way she was letting Adena get to her.
"And the last time I saw you, I was saving your ass from a traitor on the battlefield." She shot back to the girl, anger clear in her voice. She'd had the decency to shoot down one of her own for this girl, and she never even got a thank you. "And if you haven't notice, that didn't last very long." Yes. She was angry, more than angry. She'd risked her life to follow her heart, and her supposed best friend didn't even understand that. Even after the Hunters left and she stayed, Adena tormented her.
Her fist tightened on her hammer again before she grabbed a pair of tongs, wrapping the warm coil around it in an intricate design before dipping it in the water bucket. The sizzle calmed her down only slightly, but knowing Adena was on the other side of her table just made her angry all over again.

"Must've slipped my mind." Of course now the memory was vague, why would she want to be saved by her? It was totally embarrassing. Adena could take her of herself, she was strong and good with her bow and arrow, maybe hand to hand combat wasn't her finest choice but she could take a beating, it wasn't like it made her any less perfect, bruises would still look good on her. She moved around the forges, clicking her heels in each step, her trademark walk, she was known for being one of the most sensual girls in camp. "I was just in your cabin right now." She smirked, every word in her sensual voice. One of her powers was that she could make people attracted to her and manipulate their feelings, with her voice she could start the powers. Even though she didn't want Princess to be attracted to her just making her self esteem grow low was Adena's goal. "Pretty hunky guys you have for brothers."
Some time ago, when they used to be friends Adena swore she wouldn't sleep with Princess's brothers, mostly because she would have to see them again or they'd bother Princess for it. But now the first thing she did after the fight between them she jumped the first brother she found. She turned around after walking in front of the desk, looking at Princess down, she loved the feeling of power, what she gets from looking at her downwards. "So how's life as invisible to guys? Not that I would know, I'm living the dream." Grinning she played with her hair, she wanted Princess to suffer, give her as much hell as she could, make her feel as the worst and ugliest girl in this world. All she had to do was be sexy, something Princess would never be.

Princess couldn't help but roll her eyes. Adena was playing her stupid little games again, and she wouldn't let her win. Of course, she heard the tone in the other girls voice change, and she tried to fight it. "Ew. Was all she said on the comment about her brothers. She hissed the word from between her teeth. She didn't want to know about her brothers shagging it up with some slut they found in the forest. She rolled her eyes again as she set the cooled wire on a rack, finally stepping away from it.
She kicked off her shoes, not really caring about them anymore, her arms crossing over her chest. She'd always hated how short she was, even when she was just a kid. "Ask your brothers." Adena was trying to get her down. She thought Princess was worthless, but it was exactly the opposite. When she was avoiding her siblings and needed a break, she slipped back into her old routine. And none of the Eros boys minded that much. She was getting sick and tired of Adena trying to rub whatever she thought she had in her face, though. Her fists were clenched at her sides, the anger seething through her.
"You know what, you arrogant, pompous, bitch?" She hissed out the first words, still staring at her now bare feet. "You wanna know why I left after I got out of the Hunters? Carter. Carter's the reason." She knew the name would strike a bell. Hell, Princess had snuck Adena out of the camp many a time and taken her to her old hometown. She still remembered the day she introduced Adena and Carter. Carter was so happy to have another friend. The three of them were stuck like glue during their visits. "She died, Adena. Carter fucking died. Gunned down in the park we all used to walk through." Her voice was shaking, now, but she refused to cry. Not in front of this she-demon. Of course, there was so much more that she wanted to say. "I left so I could find the bastard that killed our best friend. But then again, you obviously don't fucking care."
She let out a frustrated groan before she let her fist connect with the side of the forge, ignoring the agonizing pain that shot through her hand, and the scrapes now on her knuckles. "I'm done with this shit, Adena. Whatever you're trying to do here, I'm done with it. You don't know me." The anger and heartbreak was evident in her voice. Speaking of Carter brought the memories flooding back, and she didn't know how to handle them. So she stood her ground, keeping her eyes on her feet. She didn't want to look at the girl across from her, else the urge to punch her instead of the wall would arise.

Adena had started to ignore whatever pathetic excuse Princess had for whatever it was she had told her off. She was tired of hearing her speak with her squeaky voice, it was like talking to a hobbit. But then, she mentioned Carter. Of course, she knew him, they were good friends, before everything got so messed up. He died. Great. How was Adena supposed to feel about that? She heard her this time, how she didn't fucking care. Did she think that low of her? Good. If that's how Princess wanted it to be, Adena just shrugged and said. "I'm sorry for the loss of your friend, and you're right." She smirked. "I just don't fucking care." She looked down at her, daring her to look at her in the eye, intimidating her. Looking as if she didn't have a care in th world for except herself. She hid her laugh with her hand, laughing at Princess' kind of melt down. "Darling." She let a second pass, creating more drama. "I am just so glad I don't know you." Adena smiled brightly. "Can you imagine? Letting others see me hanging out with you?" Her insults growing better, she knew where to hurt her, just like she hurt Adena. "It would totally hurt my rep."
