Jordan stormed out of the Big House in a huff. Once again, the stupid centaur known as Chiron would not hear her out on her requests to be the cabin leader or at least counselor. She didn't need to take it down a notch, like Chiron kept saying, or take a chill pill, like her siblings suggested. Why couldn't they see she was absolutely perfect for the job? She knew how to put her foot down when it came into authority, which was a lot more than the rest of her siblings. They always seems to be worried about something else besides how the cabin was ran.
Once she was a few yards away from the Big House, she let out a frustrated scream as she kicked the ground at a dirt clod. She crossed her arms over her chest as she mumbled something about Chiron thought that his party ponies were more important than the affairs of the Athena cabin.

Cohen was headed towards the big house because he was sure he'd seen a cute Apollo girl go into the infirmary and he wanted to show her the paper cut on his finger and maybe see if she wanted to go out tonight or something. He smirked to himself, sometimes he just couldn't get over his own genius. He was crossing paths with another person when suddenly the stopped and screamed which scared the crap out of the son of Dionysus, causing him to stop in his tracks and look the girl up and down. "Are you right there?" He asked, not in a nice, concerned way, he asked snarkily. Why would this girl just start screaming randomly. He was a little bewildered by the whole situation. Why can't people just act normally? he wondered to himself as he waited for her reply.

Jordan was too busy muttering to herself and kicking the dirt clod again to notice that her scream had startled a boy that walked by her moments before. She was going on a mini-rant about how the stupid centaur needed to be castrated when someone asked her if she was okay, except, it wasn't worded the nicest way possible.
She whirled around on her heels as she glared at Cohen. "Do I look like I'm okay?" she snapped at him as she moved to place her hands on her hips. "I have to deal with a grumpy ole horse who won't listen to my appeals, even though my logic is flawless. I doubt you're going to help me with this problem, so I don't need a snotty nose brat like you right now."

Cohen just looked at her, his eyebrows climbing with each word she spoke until they physically could not go any higher. He wasn't actually listening to a word she said though. He didn't know this girl, why should he have to listen to her complain about something that didn't concern him. He almost regretted even speaking to her. However, she did get a cute look on her face when she was this frustrated, so maybe it was worth it. The mystery Apollo girl could wait for a little while to be swept off her feet. "Maybe you should take a chill pill." He suggested with a casual smirk.

Jordan's eyes narrowed as the brat in front of her told her what everyone else had told her. "I do NOT need to take a chill pill," she screeched as she threw her hands up in the air. "I do not know what everyone's problem is. I do not need to chill. I don't need to take it down a notch. I am fine." She lowered her arms as she glared at the boy and pointed a finger at him. "You are almost as bad as my siblings. You think you know me, but you don't. You're just a brat who thinks he knows everything." She huffed again as she crossed her arms across her chest. "I swear this entire camp is out to get me because they don't like the idea of perfection."

Cohen lent backwards a little bit in case a rogue arm flew out and hit him in her rampage. Seriously, he thought, some people are wound way too tight and needed something to calm them down. He could think of a few things that might do the trick but he wouldn't say them out loud because then he actually would get hit. He put his hands out in front of him in a placating manner, trying to diffuse the situation because, although he liked conflict, he liked keeping it controlled at the same time. "I can't say that for sure because I don't even know who you are." He replied calmly. "But you are aware that perfection isn't a real thing though right?" He asked, his voice lower like he was sharing a secret or something.

Jordan did notice that the boy in front of her was making sure that he wasn't getting hit with her arms, but she really didn't care at the moment. He looked like a brat that needed a good smacking and if he happened to get one during one of her fits, then so be it. In her opinion, the entire camp needed smacked.
"People only say it's not a real thing because they're not trying hard enough," Jordan snipped as she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms a little tighter over her chest. "My siblings say it. Chiron says it. But they're lazy. They're not willing to achieve perfection, but I am. But because I'm striving for perfection, that makes me an unworthy candidate for being a cabin leader."

"Is that what this is about? Being cabin leader?" Cohen scoffed. He'd honestly never wanted any leadership position in his life ever. He'd always preferred to skate through life and be able to break the rules. "But if your cabin leader you can't break the rules... You can't do like ... anything?!" He said incredulously now that he thought about it. It sounded awful, plus you had to pretend to care about other people. It sounded awful. "Why would you want that? Wouldn't you rather have fun and like, not work so hard to achieve something that you're not even getting graded on?" He asked, confusion written all over his face.

"Of course it's about being cabin leader," Jordan sighed as she placed her hands on her hips again. "None of my siblings are capable of being in this position, but me. We haven't had stable leadership in a while and I'm not going anywhere." She stared at the boy as he talked, but the more he talked, the more disgusted her face got. "Of course you would be one of those hooligans that doesn't like authority. But it's the power we're talking about. I could make my cabin perfect in every way by having my siblings achieve perfection since they're too lazy to do it on their own." She sighed quite dramatically as she rolled her eyes again. "Why have fun when there's work. And trust me, there is a lot of work to be done around here."

"You must be having a great time then," Cohen smiled a one sided smile that usually made girls swoon. "You know, because there's so much work to do and all." He wished she would chill out and have a normal moment, the son of Dionysus could tell there was someone that he might want to get to know under all that haughty, perfectionist exterior. Unfortunately for him though, he had all this aimed at him now and he was going to have to try and talk her down. "A hooligan, how old are you? 65?" He shook his head, smirking. "I'm just someone who enjoys life and fun, and doing things so they're not perfect. Generally things are better the less perfect they are."

Jordan raised her eyebrows at the boy as he smirked at her. She could tell he was one of those boys trying to win her over or whatnot, but oh no. She wasn't going to fall for any of his tricks. She shifted her stance slightly as she crossed her arms over her chest once more. "If you're trying to talk me out of being cabin leader and into your bed, I hate to break it to ya, it's not working. At all," she said snidely. She readjusted her arms as she just stared at him. "And I happen to be 20, thank you very much. I'm actually one of those who spent zero time in that casino."
She sighed loudly as the boy just didn't get it. "But less perfect means chaos and chaos is horrible. Perfection is the only way to make sure that chaos doesn't happen. Life is better that way."

Now Cohen was really confused. "What makes you think I want you in my bed? Please, don't think so highly of yourself." He scoffed. He hadn't even turned on the charm and she was thinking about his bed. Sometimes his powers of seduction were even better than he realised. "Oooh good for you." Cohen rolled his eyes, the question was meant to be rhetorical ... and a joke, but apparently this girl had no sense of humour what so ever.
He rubbed his eyes with his fingers, not really sure why he was standing here trying to talk to this girl when there was another girl inside who was much more likely to be friendly to him, but he just couldn't seem to make himself drop the conversation. "Well life is messy and chaotic, so I think you might be missing out on something important by trying to cut it out." He told her, his hand on the back of his neck. "But that's up to you, if you want to go through life without living." He added quickly.

"Wasn't what that smile meant?" Jordan snapped at him. "Is that the one you use to lure innocent girls to your bed? Gods, you boys think you're so high and mighty that you think you can lure girls to their doom because of the way you can contort your mouth." She huffed a little bit to make her point.
"Without living a chaotic life," she quickly corrected the boy. "I will be living a stress-free non-chaotic life. My life span will probably be longer than you guys that apparently thrive in chaos." She rolled her eyes as she huffed a bit. "It's going to take a bit to convince them that I'm perfect for cabin leader, since Chiron refuses to think about anything but his party ponies, but I will show you. Perfection is going to be the trend here if I get my way."

"Why would you think I was trying to get you into bed? You are literally the last person I can think of right now that I would like to take to bed." Cohen told her honestly. "I only take people that want to have fun to bed." There wasn't any smirk on his face this time. He was a little annoyed at how stubborn this girl was when all he was trying to do was make her feel a little better. obviously that wasn't going to happen any time soon, so Cohen figured she could stay upset for all he cared. He wanted to go and talk to a girl that actually wanted to talk to him, and maybe join him in his bed.
"Fine, you're right. Chaos is bad, having fun is bad, living life is bad." He told her, shaking his head and shrugging as he went to move towards the stairs, hopefully that Apollo girl was still there. "Give me a call when you're ready to live." He told her without turning around.

"I wouldn't know," Jordan snapped back at him as she crossed her arms across her chest more. "Aren't you guys, your type of course, supposed to go around wanting anything with two legs? The last I checked, I have two legs, so unless I made an illogical jump to that conclusion..." She raised her eyebrows as she looked at the boy as he decided to make his retreat, finally. She couldn't help but narrow her eyes at him as she pursed her lips a bit. "I didn't mean that," she snipped back. "I meant..." She let out another frustrated scream as she kicked the dirt again. "Just go back to wherever you come from or just go wherever. Just go away."
