Keira had decided to walk around that day and really just try to be alone. She was walking about camp and was deciding to go take a look at areas of camp she hadn't been to yet. One of them being the Stables. She didn't know why she chose the stables she just...did. The sixteen year old wore her usual attire. Which consisted of a tank top, over the light grey tank top was a black long sleeve and over the long sleeves she wore her usual black jacket with the furry huuf and rims . Along with that she wore her jeans and black combat boots which was a usual attire for her. But that day she wore her jacket at her waist and her long sleeve happened to be one of her big ones so it showed her scars.
It didn't help either that instead of being chilly the day was a bit warmer then usual so she couldn't wear her jacket. She walked into the stables and dispite knowing that she might make the Pegasi nervous she hesitantly walked to them. She wouldn't cause them any harm and she had hoped they knew that. Keira loved animals despite being the daughter of Hades. She tried to pet a white pegasi with light gray speckles. Though everytime she tried it would whinny at here and make a fuss. She sighed and tried to explain she wouldn't her her and after a while of trying to explain so she was able to pet the Pegasi. Thugh after a moment Keira realized someone else was there and she looked to see another girl.She was quiet for a moment before Keira said"h..hello" |

Sammy J really didn't know why she had the power to speak to horses and pegasi. Her father was the god of the sea, there was no reason for him to also have the power to speak to a horse. Maybe it had to do the mythology. She didn't know, but she knew that the gods were pretty weird. It would've made more sense if she could speak to fish, especially ones that controlled the weather!
Whatever the case, Sammy J liked to hang out in the stables and listen to the pegasi talk to each other. She noticed they were a little shy whenever she was around them, but they were much more talkative when she was in the rafters. Today, she was laying on her stomach on one of the thickest rafters in the barn. She rested her chin on her folded hands as she watched the horses gossip about camp.
She barely noticed that another girl had entered the stable until the gossiping horses decided to comment on her. Sammy J raised an eyebrow as she looked down at the black haired girl. She remained quiet as the other girl tried to pet one of the pegasi. She smirked a bit and giggled once the girl looked up at her.
"Hiya," she said as she moved to prop herself up onto her elbows. "That pegasus has gas, so he really doesn't want to be touched. He's been complaining to the others about the bad carrots he ate."

Keira blinked looking up at her in the rafters"oh well I didn't know that"The black haired girl said. She was quiet for a minute before she blinked for a moent as she quietly thought"I'm Keira"She said introducing herself dispite not wanting to. She quietly grabed the collar of her shirt and puled it over her scar. She always tended to cover her scars whenever she was ever around anyone. At most if she ever talked aout it which she didn't it would just bring her to think of how she was out for nearly a month. she shook her head and blinked realizing she got lost in her thoughts again."so..um assuming how you can understan them i'm guessing your a child of Poseidon?"Keira guessed.

Sammy J giggled a bit as the pegasus muttered more things about the bad carrots and he needed to speak to Chiron. She looked down at the girl below her as she smiled. "And I'm Sammy J. You might've heard of me. I'm one of those campers that got a personal tour of the Lotus Casino." Those days haunted Sammy J, but they also went by in a blur. She found that humor was the best way to deal with that situation, since there wasn't much she could do about it now.
"Yup. I'm a Poseidon," she said as she nodded her head. "But I don't know why I can talk to pegasi. It's kind of really weird." She raised an eyebrow as one of the pegasi talked about how the Keira girl reeked of death. She decided that pegasus was quite rude before she returned her focus to the girl in front of her. "What about you? I haven't seen you around before. Are you claimed yet?"

Keira was quiet for a long moment. She then spoke " well no... not really. I mean I don't know a whole lot of people here" Keira said putting her hands in her jacket pockets quietly.She listened as her assumption was right. So Sammy J was a daughter of Poseidon. She still didn't quite understand or know much about the Lotus Hotel. She seemed to be somewhat in the dark about some things. She quietly blinked her dark eyes.She was quiet before she said upon hearing the question."Well I don't like meeting a whole- well actually I don't like getting too close to others. Anyways , yes I was claimed Keira responded simply."my dad is Hades " She stated calmly.
