Pan laughed out loud as the girl explained not being able to sneak a puppy into the house. "Awe, that sucks! I bet it was a cute one too, huh?" he mused. Pan loved all animals, and nature as well. The only thing he generally avoided was girls... well, here he was walking with one. But she didn't seem to be half bad, actually. "So, liking camp so far?" he asked her, moving to turn around and walk beside her rather than backwards anymore. They were getting deeper into the trees which meant he had to be a lot more prepared!

Amelia continued walking beside Pan as she replied, "Yeah it was a small Yorkie! It was the cutest thing, and I begged my parents to keep him for days!" Amelia continued, "I'm really enjoying camp so far! I feel very welcome here, but I am awfully worried about moving into the Aphrodite cabin this afternoon. I'm scared that they won't like me or that I will be too different from the rest of my (half) siblings." It felt good for Amelia to voice her fears. She was relieved that she said them aloud, but she hoped Pan didn't judge her for it.

Pan nodded with his big grin at the thought of the cute dog. He needed one of those in his life, but he was nowhere near responsible enough. "Aw, that's too bad you didn't get to keep him," he said with a mini pout, but that quickly disappeared. Pan nodded as she talked about her nerves with the Aphro cabin. He shook his head, "you're pretty, you'll fit in fine. That place is run like a beauty parlor, sure, but I think they appreciate natural beauty, too," he said, trying to encourage the girl a little but. After all, new campers needed friends too!

Amelia blushed slightly and ,with a smile, said, "Oh, why thank you very much, and thanks for not making me feel like my fears are crazy. It's just that everybody seems to fit in so well here, and I thought that I wouldn't fit in as well as everybody else. I just assumed that I was the only one to think that, so I thought you would think I was weird for believing that." Amelia was immensely relieved that Pan understood her fears, and she was so flattered and thankful for the encouragement he gave her. He truly did not know how much the encouragement meant to her.

Pan shook his head, "You just said a lot of words at once. Trust me, everyone has those fears," not that Pan ever really did. He came to camp knowing that he wanted the place wrapped around his fingers. And, at least to his knowledge, he had done just that. Still, it was strange that he was with a girl right now. He generally avoided the opposite sex, finding them to be... annoying? Intimidating? Still, this girl was making to be good company, no that he would ever admit something like that to anyone else in camp. But, he could have one friend that was a girl... right?

"Yea, I guess," Amelia replied. She still felt a little bit insecure about her fear, but Pan really helped her get over most of it.

Amelia thought Pan was a pretty cool guy. Compared to the guys that she knew at home, he was a rather nice one, but she had never really just had a casual conversation with a boy. She kinda liked the change. She realized that she really didn't know a whole lot about Pan. She wanted to keep the conversation going, but she felt like she was asking too many questions. She always felt like she did that. She really needed to try to stop doing that, but she caved into herself. "So, how long have you been here at Camp Half Blood?"

"Oh, a long time. Almost ten years" Pan stated to her question. He was one of those kids who came when they were very, very young. He had it easy though, with the help of a satyr and an older Demi-God. "I've made a lot of friends in that time, though it's hard to get used to at first," in all honesty it wasn't that hard for Pan, being the outgoing person that he is. But it was still trying to relate himself to her, make her feel a little better. "I've learned a lot too! It's really been quite the ride. You're in for something exciting here, Amelia."
