17 years ago Britain's wizarding world was rocked to the core by war. The ministry fell to dark wizards, Hogwarts was nearly lost and the bright flames of so many witches and wizards were extinguished before their time. Though Harry Potter and his famous friends defeated Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters, things could never go back to what they were before. It took time, but nearly 20 years later the people of Britain are finally figuring out who they are. They are a new community, born from the ashes of war.



BFA is a brand new roleplay game, set within the canon present of the Harry Potter universe. All canonical information is at play here, building toward the epilogue of the Deathly Hallows. While some characters from the books will occasionally become available to play, BFA seeks largely to fill in the gaps. What was it like growing up in a world so recently rocked by war? How was it for those who were small children or young adults at the time? While outwardly all may seem well, what scars and resentments still lay under the surface?
