After the spat with Jordan, Jeremie had pushed all his things into his own room and was now in need of some new metal, Jordan sure freaked the boy out, it shattered a lot of his laptop testing equipment so... What better place to find parts than the forge? Hephaestus kids usual had leftovers and he doubted they'd mind him taking the scraps? Surely they wouldn't... He hopped...

Jeremie rummaged threw a few boxes, but his newly chipped and crooked frames made it hard for him to do it long. "Mhmm..." He grumbled some. "Stupid things..." He'd taken them off if he wasn't blind without them, I mean, sure it upset him that Jordan had broke them but he knew she didn't mean it She was just upset with him after all, he did take a title from her but at the same time.. He just wanted to try something new, something different. "Oh well." He grumbled, shifting threw the parts.

Finally he'd found the forge. Alaric had heard that it existed but he hadn't found it till just yet. His goggles sat at their usual spot while the son of Hephaestus went through the supplies and picked up anything that he could use for anything that he might build now. There were so many ideas in his head right now, some for practical things that could improve life at Camp - if they worked - and other for the prank. Yes, the stupid prank he'd announced. He would so pull that off and it would be legendary.

He'd just started working on a few parts he'd need for the security thing he wanted to install on the Hephaestus cabin - nobody was there to stop him from doing so, eventhough he was not the cabin leader - to stop other demigods from climbing around on the roof because the thought of Kevin being up there freaked him out a little.... Not only the thought of Kevin, the thought of anyone, but he found himself thinking about Kevin too much since they'd met. His concentration, however, was interupted, when he heard somebody rummaging through the metal around. He put off his goggles - that was a first - and went around a corner to see who was there. "D'you need help?", Alaric asked hesitantly, when he saw a blonde dude with - broken...? - glasses.

"Ahh!" The boy jumped, shocked by the other he fell back some. "Oww...."  He mumbled some, Jeremie hated how easy it was to scare him and like usual, he never expects it. "Oh... Um, hello?" He smiled lightly, his face a bit flushed as he pushed up his frame. "I'm sorry.. I hope I'm not intruding on anything..." He said lightly, pushing back some of his now mess of blond hair. "Oh! Sorry, where are my manners... I'm Jeremie Langley..." He dusted off his palm and offered it to the other demigod. He didn't feel it necessary to add that he's the Athena cabins new head, and personally he really didn't want to.

He certainly didn't mean to scare the other demigod but apparently he had and somehow Alaric was relieved that he seemed not to be the only jumpy person around. Right when he wanted to help the other boy up, he got back to his feet, so he kept his distance instead. "No, no, it's totally okay. I was just building a security thing for my cabin because.... doesn't matter, actually. It's just okay." A smile light up his face when he chose not to explain why he thought a security thing was necessary. The whole Camp had probably heard his girlish screech anyway.
"Hi Jeremie, I'm Alaric", he introduced himself and was about to shake he extended hand but pulled back when he realised that his hands were smeared with machine oil. "Hephaestus cabin, you probably would have guessed... So, I think I might be able to help you with whatever you're looking for? I mean, I'm new myself, but I'm good at constructing stuff and with metal and building and... yeah."
