Spooky Scary (OPEN)

Halloween was one of Rileigh's favorite holidays. It screamed horror and gore, which was two of her favorites, especially to write about. Except... the other campers didn't really like those aspects of the holiday. Instead, they liked to get dressed up in costumes and the girls liked to expose as much as possible while still being covered. That really irked Rileigh the most.

Instead of being around... those people and potentially punching each and every one of them in the face, Rileigh retreated to her favorite places to write: the loft of the stables. It was quiet except for the occasional neighing of horses, but it was perfect to write about killing those girls running around in those costumes. She sat cross-legged on a bale of hay as she had her notebook in her lap. She bit the tip of her pen as she imagined the scene she wanted to write out. A slight smirk crept onto her lips as she hastily scribbled down her gore-filled scene.

The son of Selene entered the one place he felt was like home, Hell the kid was raised on a dairy farm. Stables were nothing new to him. Blake personally liked being around animals more than people, to him they also made better conversation. As he entered the stables he couldn't have been more shocked to find another, no one ever bothered to be in here... The pegasus weren't the nicest animals to most and to see her just kinda made awkward. "Ah great..." When he finally spoke, he did so light as he cursed lightly under his breath and quickly removed his palms from his jacket pocket. He wanted to go threw being unseen and by how she was writing maybe she was too distracted by her writing to notice him . That's what Blake hoped for anyway.

Rileigh chuckled to herself as she wrote out a scene involving a serial killer, a girl who looked like she belonged in the Aphrodite cabin, and a butcher's knife. The was bloody and gruesome and completely wonderful. She was about to write out how the girl screamed as the blade sunk into her body when she heard someone. She paused her pen and her thoughts as she looked up. She was just perched perfectly in the loft that she could peer down at the door.

There was a boy standing at the door. She raised an eyebrow at him as she cleared her throat to get his attention. "Can I help you?" she asked, but there was a bit of confusion in her voice.

He paused at the door, and soon sighed and placed on a smile for the girl. "Well... Sorry to interrupt ya darlin'." Blake spoke lightly, his accent still peaking threw though as hard he tried to cover it up. "I just came in here to  check on the 'pegis, most people don't come in here... They can be a bit harsh to other... Hehehe..." Blake did his best to be as gentlemanly as possible, sure he didn't much care for girls, but a young lady like herself still deserve it. "I'm Blake, Blake Ulrich nice to meetcha." He said as he came closer. "It look like you were writing somethin' fierce, and I didn't wanna stop ya... So I thought I'd get outta your hair." His plan may have failed, but ehh, maybe he'd be able to make a 'friend' or something.

As soon as the boy spoke, Rileigh raised her eyebrows at the boy. Was he for real? The more that he spoke though, the more that Rileigh realized that he wasn't putting on an act. An amused smile crept onto Rileigh's face as she looked at the boy. Once he stopped talking, her smile grew even more.

"Blake, right?" she said before she lightly laughed. "You seriously stepped off of a farm and right into camp. Gods, that's really cute. Adorable, really." She decided she didn't need to write more as she put her pen to give her full attention to the boy. "I'm Rileigh. Gods, I can't get over your accent. What cabin are you from?"

Blake blinked a few times, a little confused. "Did I say somethin' funny?" He thought and it might have mumbled out.. Gods he didn't know. "Well, I kinda grew up on one, my aunt even says I talk like my Pa..." He laughed a bit nervously, his left palm itching the back of his head. "And as for my cabin... I'm in Selene cabin, Mama has a bit of a thing for farmers as I've been told..." Endymion was also a farmer and so was his dad, Selene was consistent on her type at least and though as much as Blake hated his speak patterns he didn't mind it so much, Ri was enjoying it. So, maybe it wasn't all that bad?

Rileigh threw her head back and let out a laugh. To think she thought she would come to the stables and murder the various campers in her book.But no, this was so much better than that. She tilted her head forward again to look down at Blake. "Your accent is adorable. Little farmer boy running around camp. Oh gods, that sounds like something out of a fairy tale. It's just adorable." She stood up from her bale of hay and brushed herself up.

"Well, Blake," she said as she gathered up her notebook and pens. "You are my neighbor. I live in the Eris cabin, which, if I remember correctly, is only a couple of buildings down from mine. She chuckled to herself as she went to the ladder to climb down. "So I have a cute little farmer boy as a neighbor. This is just lovely. Perfect even."

"Little farmer boy..." He repeated, a part of him didn't know how to take that. Was it an insult? Was it like... He soon shook the thought from his mind, the more he'd think of it... The more it'd end up bugging the prideful boy. "As she spoke about Eris it gave him a lovely image. 'Great~ This chick must be out of her mind... Probably also out destroy everyone.. Some throw the damn apple.' He thought, then quickly tried to erase that thought. It wasn't right to stereotype her to the Goddess of chaos, strife and discord, Ri wasn't THAT bad, she seemed kinda nice? Though he worried he wasn't reading the girl right, for all he knew... She'd be just acting she liked the son of Selene. "Well, it's nice to meet one of my neighbors." When he soon spoke, he said it softly.

Rileigh walked over to the ladder and tucked her notebook and pen underneath one arm before she made her descent. She took her dear sweet time, making sure that nothing fell. Once she got down to the main level, she made sure her notebook and pen were in her hands before she turned around to look at Blake. She chuckled as she tilted her head to one side before going, "Awww... you're so cute."

She smiled as she walked up to him. "You're so much more adorable in person. Little farmer boy." She put a hand on his shoulder as she scrunched up her face like she was talking to a baby. "You're so cute. I just want to pinch those cheeks of yours. Gods, so cute." She took her hand off of his shoulder. "How do you stand yourself when you look into the mirror being all cute and all?"

"I um... Well.." He gulped a bit hard. "Thanks, I think?" Was Ri being condescending, probably..? But Blake wasn't all that sure,maybe this is just how the Eris kin acted? Maybe she had a screw loose? Well... More then a few... That was easy enough to note with most demigods. "As for the mirror...  I'm not all that cute... Ya know there are probably better lookin' guys out there than I darlin'." Gods his face seemed a little flushed, he wasn't used to all the fuss that Ri had been giving him, calling him cute and what not. "Little farmer boy....." He murmured again, still unsure of Ri's pet name.

"Nah," Rileigh chuckled to herself as she shook her head. "I don't think anyone could top a farmer boy." She reached up to gently pat his cheek. "Trust me, I haven't seen anyone nearly as adorable as you." She lowered her hand to brush some dirt off of his shoulder as she smiled at him. "So I guess I'll see you around, Blake."

She moved to walk past him towards the door of the stables, but stopped and turned around to look at him. "And I will be seeing you." There was a slight threat in her voice. She then smiled at him all sickly sweet before she said, "See ya later, cute farmer boy," before she walked out of the stables.
