To all the campers, Lydia is known as a very happy and cheerful person. She's not too peppy to drive you insane, but just enough that she won't grate on your nerves. Lydia is also very funny since she has a sharp sense of humor. She can get a bit snarky when the time calls for it, but it's a very rare occurrence. Despite her knowledge, she tends to act with her heart instead of her head, but during those times, her heart is mostly right.

To her siblings in the Dionysus cabin, Lydia is known as the tough cookie. She's learned how to embrace her femininity after growing up being mostly the only girl in her cabin. She tries to reign her brothers in a bit, since all that testosterone running through their cabin tends for them to act on stupid and crazy ideas. Even if they won't admit it to her face, Lydia is pretty sure that they have a soft spot for her.

To her friends, Lydia is known as the voice of reason. Most of the time, she has to validate their feelings or talk them out of a ridiculous plan that will most likely end with their deaths. She does use her psychology knowledge to have her friends calm down. Usually, it stresses her out until she's positive her friends will be out of harm's way.

HISTORY: Lydia grew up knowing her father wasn't in the picture. Her mother, a professor of psychology specializing in mental disorders, would answer Lydia's constant bombardment of questions about her father as honestly and simply as possible. No, I don't know where your father is. No, I do not know if he's coming back. That staved off Lydia's questions, but she always found she had a thirst for knowledge. Growing up, she would constantly watch Sesame Street and Baby Einsteins. What really piqued her interest, which was odd for her young age, was psychology. It was her mother's field and Lydia looked up to her mother.

When Lydia was old enough to start school, she was so advanced for her age that she skipped kindergarten and went straight into first grade. This prompted her peers to pick on her and call her names. Lydia toughed it out, but the verbal attacks turned into physical ones. It was only a few months into first grade when she was ganged up by a group of seven year olds, but the were actually empousas in disguise. It was a nasty fight, but she managed to make it out alive with the help of a kindergartner. Lydia came home with her newfound friend and that's when her young life was completely shaken. It turned out her friend was a satyr that saved her from a group of monsters and she was something called a demigod and she needed to go to a special camp for her kind. Lydia's mother knew this day was coming, but thought it came too soon. Lydia packed up her bags and bid her mother farewell before her and her satyr friend made the trip to New York.

It was a long and exhausting trip from Chicago to Long Island, but they finally arrived at Camp Half Blood in mostly one piece. Lydia spent a few days in the Hermes cabin before she was claimed as a daughter of Dionysus and she moved into her new and more permanent home. At camp is where Lydia truly thrived. She made all sorts of friends from all sorts of cabins. Even though she did miss her mother, she found that camp was her new home. When she was about 11, she met a brother and sister duo from Hades and Hecate cabins, respectively. She found them interesting and liked hanging out with them. It wasn't long before she considered them her siblings.

When she was about 13, Lydia was selected to on a quest with her Hades brother. It was supposed to be an easy quest, but something went wrong as they ended up fighting a flame-throwing giant. It was a long and exhausting battle, but the ended up defeating it. After that quest, she found herself trying to convince her friends not to do rash and stupid ideas. This caused her a lot of stress over the past few years, but she's happy knowing her friends are not in danger from monsters or themselves.
