Hope Mikaelson is dead, or so the world believes. Niklaus and Elijah Mikaelson try to hold New Orleans together while Marcel and his vampires live across the river, rebuilding, training, becoming stronger. The city is in the hands of the Mikaelson family. But which Mikaelson?



Escaping from the Other Side as it collapsed, Esther has returned and drawn with her the spirits of Kol and Finn, placing them into the bodies of witches. Esther knows that she isn't going to be able to deal with her children herself, even with magic and two sons on her side, and not with the Guerrera Werewolves around.



There is no salvation for her family. There is no way they will take her offer to become witches and leave their vampiric ways behind. There is one more way to kill an Original, and Esther plans on taking it. She means to summon the Original Werewolves from to the city. With the firsts of their kinds about to engage, Esther hopes that her children will fall, and come crawling to her, begging for salvation.
