Unexpected (Marius)

It was still so weird to Daphne that her best friend was now her boyfriend and now they made plans. Dates. As a couple. It was still a weird concept to her, but she liked it at the same time. Like today, Marius promised her that they would sneak out of camp and go to the city. That was one plan she couldn't refuse, since Daphne didn't like being at camp for too long and she was itching to leave after their quest.

Marius told her to meet him at his cabin before they left. Daphne knew she was early as she arrived on the steps of the Hermes cabin, but she couldn't wait to leave. She knocked on the cabin door out of courtesy before she let herself in. She looked around and saw Marius wasn't in the main part of the cabin, so she walked over to where his trap door was. She opened it up and dropped into his room.

"Hey Marius..." Her eyes widened before she quickly diverted them as she covered them with her hand for extra measure. "Oh gods... I am so sorry Marius... I didn't mean to... I'm sorry..."

Marius was busy changing when Daphne dropped down into his room, barely pulling off the last of his clothes. A chuckle managed to escape his lips after he realized who it was. "What's wrong, babe?" He asked her as he turned to face her without bothering to put anymore clothes on. "It's nothing you haven't seen before." The son of Hermes grinned as he mercilessly teased his girlfriend, enjoying the bright red blush that was on her face right then.

Marius walked up to her and leaned forward slightly to put his face in front of hers. "Why aren't you looking at me?" His tone was teasing. His amusement at the situation getting the better of him despite their plans to sneak out. Something he knew she was very much looking forward to.

Daphne's face was completely beet red. She caught her boyfriend in the nude. She only saw him undressed a couple of times and that was during the quest when she fixed up his wounds. But now... She blushed harder as he walked up closer to her as she could tell he hadn't bothered to put on any more clothes.

"Umm..." she muttered as she pressed her lips together as she continued to advert her eyes. "Just because I've seen it before doesn't mean that I want to see it..." When his face was up close to hers, she moved her hands, but made sure to keep her eyes right on his. She didn't dare to glance down at his lower half. The blush was still strong on her cheeks before she muttered, "Can you please put on some clothes?"

"Awwwww, I'm injured." Marius teased Daphne with an even broader grin on his face. "My girlfriend isn't interested in seeing my body?" He leaned closer to her and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before turning around to walk back to where he had left his clothes. "Oh, tell me it isn't true." He pretended to lament as he picked up a pair of boxers before slipping them on.

The thief turned back towards her while grabbing his pants. "In all seriousness though, where do you want to go first?" He asked as he started a mental list in his head of possible ideas of things they could do. He put on his pants and then walked back over to Daphne shirtless. "There, better?" Marius asked his girlfriend as he put his hands on her waist and pulled her close to him. "I have clothes on now."

Daphne knew that Marius was teasing her, since that seemed to be his favorite past time since they met each other. It seemed to be a little bit worse since they started dating. Her cheeks heated up again as he pecked on before he left her sight. She covered her eyes again as she waited for him to get fully clothed again. She heard the rustle of clothes, but kept her eyes covered because she still wasn't sure if he was messing with her or not.

But he asked her where she wanted to go first in the city and that took her mind off of the pontentionally naked boyfriend in the room with her. "Umm..." she said as she pressed her lips together. "I do want to go to Central Park... and maybe see Times Square?" She hadn't thought about it much. She was excited to just get out of here since the quest, so whatever they did once they got there didn't matter to her much.

She felt hands on her waist as she was pulled close to him. She uncovered her eyes only to be met with his bare chest. "Umm..." she muttered as the blush returned to her cheeks as she looked up at her boyfriend. "You're only half dressed."

"So?" Marius said with a wide grin as he pulled Daphne up against him. "It's not like that's such a bad thing at the moment. We still have a little while before we can leave. We don't want anyone to notice us leaving, do we?" He asked her as he looked down at his blushing girlfriend. "That's a barrel full of trouble I could do without, ya know?" The thief chuckled before leaning down to kiss her on the cheek again.

"So Central Park and Times Square, huh?" The son of Hermes asked, changing the subject to the trip once again. His mind working on other possible places they could visit or see. Marius held her tight against him. "What about food? Is there anything you want to try while we're there?"

Daphne pressed her lips together as she blushed harder. They still had a little longer to wait, which mean Marius had a little longer to tease her. She shifted uncomfortably in his arms before he pecked her on the cheek again. She didn't know why she felt so uncomfortable with Marius being shirtless, but there was memories from the quest and how he looked and how she felt...

She shook that image out of her head as she pressed her lips again. "Umm..." she tried to think as she pushed more of those images out of her mind. "We could go to China Town... or maybe find an Italian restaurant? Does that sound good to you?"

"Sure, that sounds fine. We can decide which one to go with when we get hungry, okay?" Marius said with a smile while his hands slide down Daphne's waist slightly and brushed over her butt. He gave it a playful and brief squeeze before turning away to finish getting dressed. "So now that we know where we're going, which one should we go to first?" The son of Hermes asked his girlfriend as he finally pulled his shirt on.

He walked back over to her and grinned at her while he waited for her answer. Shogun appeared from nowhere holding various knives and offered them to Marius. "Thanks little buddy." The thief said as he hid them on his person, making it see as if they just disappeared.

Daphne blushed harder and squealed as he reached down to squeeze her rear. Her face was bright red as he let go of her to put on a shirt. She glanced over to the side and took deep breaths. She made sure to advert her eyes as he walked away. She didn't need to be admiring his chest and having those thoughts running through her head. The same thought that she had when she was around... She quickly pushed her ex out of her mind as she turned back to Marius and smiled a bit.

"How about we walk around," she suggested with a slight smile. "Maybe around Central Park? I'm not really hungry right now, so walking and sightseeing sounds good right now." She giggled as Shogun appeared and handed Marius knives. Once his owner was loaded, the monkey hopped onto Daphne's shoulders and started messing with her hair.

"All right, to Central Park it is." Marius said with a grin on his face as he finished getting ready, grabbing a coat for the weather. He put it on and turned towards Daphne again, holding out his hand for her. "You ready to go?" He asked his girlfriend as Shogun jumped from her shoulders to the son of Hermes, chattering softly into his ear. "You want to go to? Well, ask Daphne then. Today is for her, so it's her choice if you get to come with or not."

The little monkey then jumped back over to Daphne's shoulder and gave a few small sounds as he tried to look cute so he could coerce her into letting him go with. Marius gave her a shrug, letting his girlfriend know that it was completely up to her on whether Shogun came along for the date or not.

Daphne giggled as Shogun messed with her hair. She liked Marius's little monkey companion and missed him very much during the quest. She let out a small sound of protest as Shogun hopped from her shoulders onto Marius, but she giggled more as the monkey seemed to be putting up a protest to their New York outing. She giggled even more as Shogun hopped onto her shoulders again and made a bit production of begging. He was cute and Daphne thought about letting him tag along, but she hadn't been alone with her boyfriend for quite some time.

She shook her head. "Sorry little buddy. Maybe next time you can join in." Shogun seemed to pout for a moment before he hopped off her shoulders and disappeared into Marius's room. She didn't give it a second thought before she looked up at her boyfriend and cocked an eyebrow at him. "You ready to get going then?"

Marius quickly put on a pair of gloves and a long scarf before wrapping an arm around Daphne's waist and pulling her up against him. "Yep, hold on tight." He warned her before teleporting the both of them to New York City, landing just outside of Central Park. "Well, here we are." The thief said as he felt a little tired from the distance they just traveled. He kept a hold of her for a little bit though, smirking at her as he kept her up against him. "You ready to start our date?" The son of Hermes asked before giving her a quick kiss.

Daphne smiled as Marius pulled her in close as she wrapped her arms around him. She closed her eyes and steadied herself, since whenever she teleported with him, she always felt unsteady. She didn't feel the teleportation and the only clue that they had even switched locations was the wind. They were outside in the middle of central park. She smiled widely as she looked around before she looked up at Marius. Her smile faded a bit as she looked at him slightly concerned. She knew that teleporting wore him out and he could go short distances reasonably. She didn't know if a trip to the city was pushing his limits or not.

But he seemed to be okay as he leaned in to kiss her quickly. Daphne untangled herself from his arms as she reached to grab his hand. "Ready as ever," she said as she gave him a smile and tugged on his hand as she led him deeper into Central Park.

Marius smiled as Daphne pulled on his hand and started leading him through the park. He moved so he could walk beside her and let go of her hand to wrap his arm around her waist and hold her a little closer. The son of Hermes didn't say too much, letting her talk about anything she wanted to as they made their way through the park. After a little while, they wound up in a small, out of sight area of the park.

Marius' smile grew every so slightly as he thought of something. Before she could ask what he was thinking about, he moved to pin her up against a tree and kissed her deeply, resting his hands on her waist.

As they walked through Central Park together, Daphne talked to Marius about her life, her siblings, and basically anything that crossed her mind. She hadn't seen in him a while so she was just saying things to fill the quiet between them. Not that it was awkward between them, but Daphne found out that she had lot to say to him. As they walked, she didn't notice that they started going to a more remote part of the park.

Daphne was going off about training when she squealed as Marius moved to pin her against a tree and kissed her deeply. Daphne wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in closer as she kissed him back. She moved to press up against him as she slightly moaned against his lips.
