Revenge of L&J (Charlotte)

[Harper Jones]

Camp had been too quiet since Harper got back and apparently it had been quiet long after she left. The Hermes kids were more concerned about getting other people's pants than actually pranking. Add in the fact that Harper was getting cabin fever badly... something had to be done. She finally weened herself back into the daylight hours, but she didn't need to be seen. Not what she wanted to do.

She was sneaking in the bushes behind the cabins as she made her way to the Apollo cabin. She had a bag on her bag full of various supplies and she was dressed in a combination of camouflage and black. Once she finally arrived at the Apollo cabin, she straightened up to knock on the window to the cabin leader room. If she read the schedule right, Charlotte didn't have anything and was probably in her room.

Before anyone could stop her after her lesson, Charlotte wanted a nap. Between her siblings and teaching and Harper being back everything was too much for her. Sleep was dire and needed. Dreams of sweet strawberries and sunshine smiles filled her head. that was till the knocking. One, nope not gonna happen. Two, ugh. Three, "What!" she half yelled, slumping out of the bed. Rolling over off the bed and onto the floor, Charlotte went towards the window still half shut.

Harper. Two blinks of shock later Charlotte looked over her friend. Literally standing in a bush, her old friend was starring up at her. "Oh this is gonna be bad." she mumbled to herself before popping the window fully open so she could climb in. "Dare I even ask or should I hear you out first."

Harper kept knocking on the window hoping that Char was actually in there and she wasn't knocking on the window of an empty room. That would've made her look silly if anyone happened to catch her. The window was already partially opened, but Harper knew there was no way she could completely open it with the position she was in. She wasn't that tall and she still needed to climb inside if needed.

But she saw Char's face in the window and smiled and waved before the window was completely opened for her. Harper reached up and hoisted herself through the window before landing on her feet. She had an impish grin on her face as she raised her eyebrows at Char's question. "I think you should hear me out," she said as she dropped her pack onto the ground and zipped it open. Inside was a variety of materials that she borrowed from the Hermes cabin that they used for their pranking. She looked up at Char and smirked before she said, "I think this camp needs a remind of who the true prank masters are: L&J."

As Charlotte plopped back onto her bed she noticed how Harper was dressed and instantly knew what was coming. She recognized the gear before she could register the fact she was already smirking. L&J and rained over the camp for a few months of sheer terror. Her ex was not happy to find out that she was part of the crew that pranked camp needless to say but it was someone of her best moments with Harper. She leaned over and started play with some of the trip wires in her hand.

"you know." she said before looking up at her friend "there have been a extreme lack of pranks here." Maybe just maybe L&J would get her and Harper back to where they were. "I think something should be done about that." she said before standing up and diving into her trunk and into a box at the bottom where she had packed away her gear at. "Give me a few minutes to get changed."

Harper hoped that Charlotte would be on board with the pranking. It was one of the thing she missed when she ran away from camp, again. And now that Charlotte and John were no longer dating and John was no longer at camp... now seemed like a prime time for the notorious pranksters to come back to camp and reign again.

Harper's smirk grew on her face as Charlotte agreed with her idea. "I know. It's been too quiet around here. We need to liven things up a bit," she said as she moved to sit on Charlotte's bed as she watched her go to a box where she assumed that is where their old stuff was. L&J were going to be back in business in a matter of moments.

Who would have ever expected a Apollo kid to feel at home in full black, swat like gear. Charlotte smirked as she finished strapping on her pranking bag(lets be real it was a side ways fanny pack). This was what she was use to. It was a good distraction for a while. Her siblings and a certain boy had been running through her head too much for her liking. She smiled and looked over at her partner in crime, literally. She smiled and hopped up on her bed as she put on her boots.

"So who is deserving of a thrashing by L&J today?" They had hit them all. Hermes, Athena, even Phobias cabin. And no Charlotte did not plan on reliving that actually living nightmare. "They are about to receive months of built up pranks in one"

A real smile grew on Harper's face as Charlotte was finally dressed in her old L&J gear. Charlotte liked all black and Harper liked her camouflage. They took their pranking seriously unlike certain campers around camp. But when Charlotte sat on the bed next to her, Harper had to stop to think for a minute. Who would they target first? She leaned over and zipped up her pranking bag as her mind raced through the potential cabins they could target, but one cabin really stood out to Harper.

She straightened up as she looked over at her friend as an evil smirk crept onto her face. "I think we should get the Hades cabin first. I don't think I'm over what the lot of them did to me a few years ago. I think it's time they learned some humility."

Charlotte had to laugh at that one. Oh the hades cabin. He was gone, she had to remind herself of that sometimes. She hope whatever ate him didn't get indigestion. Yet they were the perfect target for a L&J reboot. Whenever they were pranked everyone in camp knew about it, it would be perfect to put some pranking joy back into camp. It was to serious around here lately, they were still young for a little while longer, it was time to own up to it.

"Sounds perfect." she said as she dug around in the pranking bag. She was low on supplies; Few cans of spray paint, fishing wire, a list of rhyming curses(ah yes the good ones) and four rolls of half used duck tape. And better yet something she hadn't taken out bothered looking for but she knew was in there. A small 2x2 photo of two figures running from the back of a well 'decorated' Dionysus cabin. A gift from a ex. This is what felt familiar to her. "Besides, i'm sure the Hades cabin did something to piss someone off this week." she said smirking

Harper chuckled to herself as she pushed herself off of Charlotte's bed and put her hands on her hips. "They always piss someone off," she said with a slight smirk as she looked over at her friend. "I know they've at least pissed one person off." She chuckled as she pointed to herself. "And that's one person they do not want to piss off." Harper liked to hold her grudges and she was still not over what the Hades cabin did to her, especially when those two jerks, William and Uriel, were still running around camp. She could feel her scar on her back tingle a bit from just the thought. "I think they need to get their cabin redecorated free of charge. You have something to help with that?"

Harpers grudge against the Hades cabin was no secret to her, and Charlotte could completely understood it. Harper had been though a lot, they both had. They both bore scars that weren't just physical. She smiled slightly at her friend as she pulled out and wiggled a can of bright neon spray paint. "Oh I think we can come up with something. Though after this is over I might need to head to the Hermes cabin and restock." Their supply. You wanted anything you asked a hermes kid, they knew someone or knew a way. Charlotte made sure to close the door to her room, perks of being a cabin leader #103, and locked it. Any of her siblings that tried to get in would just figure she was taking a nap, the perfect cover. No one ever expect pranks during the day, which is what made them the best. She gestured back towards the window she had entered from "Shall we?"

"I'm thinking we can decorate the Hades cabin like the Aphrodite cabin," Harper said with a little bit of a smirk as she double-checked that her back was completely zipped up before she strapped it back on her back again. "You know, they're always so gloomy and doomy that they need a little bit of cheering up. Maybe some neon colors or glitter." She chuckled a bit as she went back over to the window to open it up a little wider than what Charlotte did earlier. "And we gotta make sure that Marius isn't around," she said as she glanced over her shoulder at her partner in crime. "You know he almost revealed us to the camp. I know John was the least of my concerns." Harper's smile grew a little bit wider as Charlotte motioned towards the window, giving the green light. "We shall," she said as she climbed back out the window and into the bushes. This was going to be fun.
