He knew he'd pissed her off ages ago, and he also knew that he should really stop thinking about her and find someone less of a challenge and that's ... well ... nicer to him in general. But Cohen enjoyed the challenge. Plus, Jordan was pretty easy on the eyes. It was with these thoughts that he walked up the steps of the Athena cabin and knocked on the door. Pushing his hands into his pockets and looking around while he waited for the door to be answered.
After a moment, a frown appeared on his face as he lifted his hand again to start knocking a little louder incase he wasn't heard the first time.

It was rare that Jordan got the Athena cabin all to herself, but today was one of those rare few moments. She was snuggled up in her bed reading about the Cold War whens he heard a knock on the cabin door. She glanced over the top of her book and at the door as she wondered for a few moments if she should bother answering. She decided against it and went back to reading. However, she only got to read a sentence or two before she heard a knock on the door again. She sighed very loudly as she closed her book and got out of her bed to make her way to the door.
She opened the door and was caught off guard to see who was on the other side. She was expecting one of her siblings friends, but this was Cohen. What was he doing here. She crossed her arms across her chest as she blinked up at him. "Can I help you?"

Of course she looked upset to see him. Why on earth did he hope for a positive reaction from her? Cohen silently berated himself before putting on an easy going lop sided smile. "I was in the neighbourhood and wondered if you'd like to hang out." He replied before realising how incredibly lame that sounded. He groaned internally but decided to persevere anyway, not knowing why he couldn't act like himself around her. "I know we don't really know each other well, but. Uh," He paused, reaching up to tug on the hair on the back of his head. Why was he suddenly nervous under her stare? "I just hoped you'd want to get to know me before you decide you don't like me." Cohen said in a rush, his eyes closed. Afterwards he opened his eyes and lowered his hand to his side, waiting for her reaction.

"You were in the neighborhood?" Jordan repeated back as she raised her eyebrows at Cohen. She glanced over his shoulder towards the Dionysus cabin. "Yes," she said as she looked back up at him. "You were definitely in the neighborhood. I thought your cabin might have moved." She was half-tempted to close the door on him... more like slam it on him... and go back to her reading when he started talking again. She paused for a moment as she looked at him and her heart flipped when he tugged on his hair. She pressed her lips together as she looked at him before she slowly nodded her head. "Okay," she said slowly. "I guess I can give you one more chance."

Cohen's gaze fell towards the floor because of how dumb he'd sounded. He couldn't imagine that she'd actually want to spend any time with him now that he'd made a fool of himself. He waited, staring at the ground, hoping it would open up and swallow him soon to save him from the embarrassment of living through her rejection. He pushed his hands back into his pockets while he waited for her answer. When she spoke, Cohen lifted his head, his lop sided smile back on his face and breathed an internal sigh of relief. He could feel the tension fall away from his body as he relaxed. "Awesome." Afterwards he realised he had no plan of what they could do together. "Uh, what would you like to do?"

Jordan pressed her lips for a moment. She had no clue what she was thinking in giving this boy a second chance. But he looked so cute while he was waiting for her answer. She slowly unfolded her arms and put her hands on her hips as she waited for him to respond. She could feel a slight smirk tugging at the corners of her lips, but she kept her face as serious as it could be. She cocked an eyebrow at him when he didn't have anything planned. "So you were just in the neighborhood and decided to drop by with nothing planned?" she said as she rolled her eyes a bit. She stepped out onto the cabin porch and closed the door behind her as he looked up at him. "I guess we can talk a walk on the beach or something unless you can think of anything better?"

Cohen could hardly think he was so nervous and busy damning himself for not thinking ahead. Though if he were honest with himself, he never actually thought that Jordan would agree. He more expected her to slam the door in his face. He couldn't remember what he'd done to offend her but she always acted as if his very existence was offensive in some way. "Exactly," He smiled down at her, not even bothering to act sheepish or embarrassed about his idiocy. But it didn't matter. Because she'd agreed to hang out with him. And Jordan came up with an excellent idea of what they could do. His smile widened at the idea and he started down the stairs, looking over his shoulder at her. "Hurry up then," He grinned.

Jordan really didn't know what she got herself into. The boy had irked her over... well Jordan couldn't remember the exact reason why he irked her, but he indeed did irk her and constantly put her in a bad mood sometimes worse than her siblings. He was cute. Jordan was willing to admit that much and thought that had to be the only reason why she was agreeing to this.
She followed him off of the cabin porch, but it wasn't soon after that she was already rolling her eyes at him. But her heart was fluttering from that grin. She didn't know what was wrong, but something was obviously wrong for her to feel like this. "I'm right behind you," she said as she finally lengthened her stride so she was walking alongside him as they made their way to the beach.

"Well hurry up," Cohen smiled over his shoulder, as he continued to walk towards the beach. He couldn't believe himself he was actually thinking about reaching his hand back for hers. God he was whipped and he wasn't even dating her. Instead though, he ran his right hand through his hair and pushed both of them into his jean pockets. When she finally caught up, Cohen looked over at her with his lop sided smile. "So, what were you doing when I so rudely interrupted?" He asked still smiling. He was glad that he'd plucked up the courage and knocked on her door.

Jordan rolled her eyes once more as he told her to hurry up again. She still questioned herself why she even agreed to go to the beach with him. But she felt her heart flutter as he ran his fingers through his hair. Gods, she found it so hot, but she was still quite miffed at him. She kept her crossed across her chest as she tried to keep up appearances that she was still crossed with him. "Well," she said with an air about her. "I was reading when you knocked. It was about the Cold War..." She side-eyed him to gauge his reaction. "Probably something you would find quite boring."
